I just got it. Originally had WL woods view from 5/27 - 6/4 at $265 per night with AAA now have same room same dates at $199 and change per night.

BTW. First time I called I was told only available for SSS and OKW no delux and no value, of course I immediately hung up and called back CM applied the code no problem and we're all set so if you don't get what you want hang up and call back as usual some CM's have no clue. Good luck everyone.

Evidently the system is updating during the morning. So while I was on the phone, she was able to pull up AP rates, after first telling me they weren't out.

I still couldn't get June 21 weekend, but I put a courtesy hold on Pop Century for 4th of July weekend. Also, Caribbean Beach was available.

Yes, AP rates are out for some resorts. I asked about POFQ, where we're staying in June and there are no AP discounts for that resort. Riverside has lots of rooms available but we already have an AAA discount and the total difference for our seven-night stay would be about $150.00. And we all agree that we want to stay at French Quarter so I'm not changing anything.

By the way, had I chose to stay ay Riverside, the rate would have averaged $144 plus tax per night. Good luck to all. Phone NOW!!!!

Okay - I got a great CM this morning. She said AP rates came out just this morning and she checked my dates of 6/11 - 6/19. Nothing available for those dates except SS and OKW. I really wanted the YC or BC and she said nothing with an AP rate until 7/2. Shoot!

Oh well - we'll just have to keep the Dolphin. (fot $194.50 AP rate there!). She did say for me to keep trying because it's possible that more rooms will open up if there were enough cancellations at a particular resort OR if a large convention were to cancel they might throw more AP discount rooms in the mix.

We can't change our dates because we've booked our airfare already.

Here's a question for you experienced resort-stayers...

The total I got for PopCentury: $357.75 (put courtesy hold on this)
total for Caribbean Beach: $486.00

Is Caribbean Beach a lot nicer than PopCentury? I've stayed at Pop before. The difference, then, is $128.25 for the 3 nights. Is it worth the upgrade?

PamNC... I would consider calling back. I've gotten three different answers to the same question this morning.

The call center with lots of background noise said no AP rates.

Called back and think it was a different call center based on background noise and she had all kinds of stuff to chose from.

I had AAA ressies at WL for BB WV June 4-8 and was able to get WL BB CY and saved about $200. My CM also said that the AP room rate with plus Dining was being offered again. Wife and I did this in April and enjoyed it , but was just too much food for the way we normally eat. Good luck everyone!

I got an AP rate for the first 3 nights of our Poly stay (June 7, 8, 9). They didn't have any left for the rest of our trip (he advised me to try back in case more become available), but I have AAA at least for those.

I had one of the best CM's help me, he was wonderful, as knowledgable as one could get.

I love daisy - keep in mind that CBR's main pool is down this summer. I don't know if that would affect your decision or not. That's why we will not be staying there.

jfranklyn, thanks for the response (sincerely). I poked around a bit on the boards after I posted and I found that very thing. I think we'll keep the Pop for that reason. Also, we're going to the real Caribbean on a cruise later in the summer, so we won't miss the theming of CBR!

Thanks again! Now I just have to get DH to agree to the trip!

Maybe I'll just book it as payback for the fact that he's in China, and will be there over Mother's Day weekend!

jfranklin--Well normally I would push for something a bit nicer. However, I can't complain. We're going on a cruise in August (with kids) and to Cancun in October (without kids). The Cancun trip came about as a celebration for our 15th anniversary plus DH is graduating from MBA school (that's what the trip to China is--a 2 week immersion class). He was a bit reluctant on Cancun until I reminded him that he was going to be gone for Mother's Day.

So no complaints here. I'm just missing the mouse and need a fix. But with the other trips coming up, it needs to be a budget trip.

I almost threw the kids in the car the other day to go to WDW while he was gone, but I resisted because the kids wanted Daddy to go. Apparently I'm not enough fun for them.

Whoops, I guess I'm hijacking the thread. Sorry. I shall cease and desist.

It's an Annual Passholder rate. I don't know what the code is, if there is one. I just called and asked about "Annual Passholder" rates for my stay.

Does anyone know, do I just show my AP when I check-in? Also if I just have the AP voucher will that suffice? (I won't be exchanging my voucher until the following day at the parks.)
