Animal Crossing Issues...

Oh Jan -- I love visiting your town...you always have so much fun going on in Lootown.

I will bring my appetite. I love turkey day. :lmao:

What time do the festivities begin?????

The gates are open now. Oh, and feel free to pick any weeds you see, LOL! Don't forget to bring the pumpkin pie!

Sheesh, finally!!! I thought the UFO was just a fable, but today it flew over my town! I was so wrapped up in lying my patterns that I wasn't paying attention at first to the UFO noises. I was just thinking to myself "what IS that annoying sound?!". Then it dawned on me...Duh! UFO! Grabbed the slingshot, but missed him. :sad1:

Has anyone ever shot him down?

Gotta Get To Disney! :moped:

Lois your Mario room is the cute room of the month for the Chillon HRA lol.
Everyone in town wants you to come back.

*New neighbors*
We got Axle an Elephant and a Del the Alagator. Anyone missing them?

Oh, I'm so proud of my decorating ability :lmao:

We have some weeds if anyone wants to get a charm (I know someone said pulling weeds in my town would get them a charm, embarrassed to say I don't remember who!!!)

FYI - There's one next to town hall (on the right near the rock),
one in front of the pond in front of the museum. A couple more I can't remember where, but I'll check later and leave the gate open.

If Greg or I ignore you, we're catching up on recorded tv shows or assembling FE gifts. :scared1: so much to do, so little time!!

I've never seen the UFO either!!

Just 3 days ago I checked on the status of our environment and, as usual, we had the C+, D-. Today I see a Jacob's Ladder had popped upped, so I went to talk to Pelly and apparently we now have a perfect town! I'm not sure how that happened because we certainly weren't trying.

My question: does this mean that I should not plant any trees or flowers at all for the next 5 days? (Is it 5 days that you have to maintain a perfect town for the golden watering can?). Will we lose our perfect town status if a flower wilts, or only if it disappears??

Please help!! :)

Thanks,
Renee/GottaGetToDisney!

Congratulations on your perfect town!!! I think you can plant flowers, but I would not plant any trees and I believe it is 15 days until you get your gold watering can. We just made sure we went around and watered any flowers that were wilting. Good luck!!! It is so exciting!!!:cool1:

Seriously...an Animal crossing thread?

I think I've died and gone to heaven. ;)

My mom and I play all the time.

Guess I'll have to post our FC's in my siggy...and check this board often. :D

Welcome to the thread!!! There is another one over on the CB. Lots of great people and information on both!!!:goodvibes

Ian? someone??

This morning before work we opened the game, it was raining.
If we change the Wii clock tomorrow morning so that it's today (again), will it rain (again?). Oh, we got a snail!

thanks!!

Yes - we think so. That's how you keep your flowers when you time travel. You note the date and time of the rain and then go back and forth - stopping on that date in between.

but not the game clock, just leave the game clock where it is?
Because I'm so unsure of my ability to do this correctly, I've started to bring my hybrids in so I don't lose them when we're on vacation. I know Melissa explained it, but I'm just not that confident.
As I understand it, we're leaving on the 8th. When we return, we should put our Wii (not game) CLOCK back to the 7th (or the 8th if we're crazy enough to play before we leave - as if :lmao:); then we open the game, immediately save and then set the Wii clock to the next day?? so much stress....

:scared1: STEP AWAY FROM THE GAME CLOCK - :scared1:
:lmao:

Good God, woman - don't scare me like that! :rotfl:

ONLY TOUCH THE WII CLOCK!!!!! Nintendo will come and strike down your hybids with the ferocity of Zeus if you touch the game clock.....

That being said - we haven't touched our town since last Friday night.... Thank God we hack.....

I just picked up the game last night after almost 2 weeks off :scared1:

When I started Wendal? (the Walrus guy) was there and he gave me flemenco design (which you can use for an umbrella, clothes, hat etc.) for free :thumbsup2 and the next day Pelly was there with a letter from Nintendo with a Spanish hat attached :cool1: The letter said something about a festival in Spain - I think they're pretty cool!

Also you guys should be getting carnations from Mum (we have Mothers day in March) - I planted ours next to each other (we have 2 characters) and so far we've got 7 more 'new' ones :thumbsup2 We only have pink ones.

I really need to catch up this weekend, I'm about 1 week into my perfect town and trying to sort out for the cruise :scared1: I need a few days off to play AC!

Okay we are officially offering to help Animal Crossing Addict Podcast Cruisers (ACAPC) to save their town by weeding and watering. Just have to leave your gates open the entire time you are away! :thumbsup2:rotfl:

For the Animal Crossing addicts in our household I've been asked if anyone can tell them what will happen when they leave the town while we are on vacation :confused3

don't even think that that hasn't entered my mind :goodvibes

Well know we would take VERY good care of Disney!!!:goodvibes

I dont know as we took the Wii and game with us when we went to WDW a couple weeks ago.....we did not trust ourselves to set the clock correctly when we got back to avoid any disaster!!!:scared1:

We went away for 2 weeks and when we came back some of our flowers were dead, we had roaches in our house, some weeds and bed head. If you have hybrids take them inside the house so they won't die. :thumbsup2

Just trick the game into thinking you weren't away. When you get back, set the date to the last day you played and go up one day at a time until you get to the present date. You will have to go around watering if you have hybrids, if not you can catch up in about 1/2 an hour.
