Morning ladies!!! Kellybell from the DISign boards has come up with two possible t-shirt designs for next year:

and

My personal fave is the second one and I think that one would look super on a black t-shirt (and would be great with a long sleeve pink shirt underneath for layering, if needed).

What do you think???

I like the second one as well!!!

Oooh! I love the second design Theresa! Very nice! :thumbsup2

You are so on the ball with our trip planning!

I unlike Carol, am missing reading all the chatter. It seems that everytime I think I'll have a free moment, life gets in the way. :confused3

Dawn told me before that I needed to write a book about our journey, there are so many out there, but I'm thinking that writing down things might help me process through them. I debating starting a blog, and am looking into it. They say you cna even make a little money if you do one good enough that people read it. What do you all think, would you read my blog, or do you get enough of me here!? :rotfl:

I'm really wishing I could clone myself today, I have laundry piled a mile high, but will find a way.

Cheryl, Wendy, Kelly, and Bridgette, I hope you all feel better!

I've also been cheering along, but just haven't said anything.
Linda, awesome yard! :thumbsup2 Dawn, really cute dog, I love the little ones. :goodvibes
Stacie, I'm jealous of your memory skills. :dance3: Jane, have fun on the strip today! :yay:
Laurie, bug hugs to you as you try to decide what's best for your family. I relate more than you know. We really should talk.
Tina, congrats on the latest job! popcorn::
A big wave to everyone else!

I'm jealous that I'm not a member of the bad girl club yet. I need to find some time to cause a little trouble around here...it might cheer me up! :flower3:pirate::rolleyes1

TTFN!

Hi ladies!!!

I'm about three days behind on posts. I hope you all are doing well. Things have just been busy around here.

I just have to share my Mother's Day gift from Ayden that he made at school. He planted a flower in a pot that he painted and decorated with ribbons. It's super cute. He also drew a picture of me. :lmao: The picture itself is REALLY good...but the pig nose?? LOL The funny thing is when I was at his school last week all the kids are at the stage where everyone noses are drawn as a pig nose. It just made me laugh. He also worked with the teacher to do a fill in the blank paper about his mom. One of the sayings is so cute...it says
My mom is so smart: "She knows not to run out in the middle of the street into traffic". hahahahahahahah That one just had me laughing so hard.

This morning...Ayden let me sleep in till EIGHT!!!!!! I haven't slept till 8 in at least a year. Chris also made me a really nice breakfast. Has he been snooping on the boards?? LOL

We have a busy day ahead. We're heading to the farmers market then Ayden has a tball game at 2:30 today. It's absolutely beautiful here....low 80's!!!

Hope you all have a great day....and Kelly I hope time trials go well!!! :grouphug:

Good Morning! It's a beautiful day today!:hippie:

What city are you going to see it? What fun. Is that the concert after the winner has been picked? Looking forward to a report.

Sounds nice. Another source is Land's End. They sell one piece suits that come in "long torso." (I have one)
I'll see the concert here in San Jose. It will be in July, so after the winner is announced.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Oh, and Tina--congrats on the big score for the housewarming picnic!

Thanks Jane! You too, Heather!!!

What do you think???

I like the second one, and I think a black shirt would be great. So slimming!

And Heather--I would read your blog, adn I think it could help a lot of families. You're going at this head-on, and I think it is a real inspiration.

And Janelle--How nice to get that early Mother's Day gift of sleep and breakfast--lucky girl!

Have a nice day, ladies! I'm off to get some stuff done.

Mornin ladies!

Got my aprons done for my Sisters, and decided I should make one for my SIL too. So I guess I'm on to that.

I will post pics of them when I can. Same with my garden. After seeing pics of Linda's thought I'd share mine too. I love to garden!

Everyone have a great weekend, and if you are a mom..........

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Awesome designs!!!! I myself am a little more cartoonish....so I love the first one!!! I like the 2nd one but not a fan of black shirts (I know...flattering but I just don't do black well) I tend to wash out in them as I am quite pale. I like the hot pink to go under it....maybe have the option of black or hot pink tees????

Heather I welcome any conversation & can't wait to meet you. I know at times we feel very alone in our struggles with our kids, but as I have seen---just in this group.....we're not.

Looking forward to a nice sunny day!!!! Still have to do the laundry but that frees me up for nothingness tomorrow!!!

Totally agree with you! That second one is killer. And yes, on black. She did a great job.:thumbsup2

I usually work on Saturdays, but for some reason wasn't on the schedule today!! Hurrah!! I am taking a break from the glue gun, helping my DD make her Sioux indian village model. It is actually a family project, togetherness and all that.

My DH has added sound to it, so with the push of a button, we have a MP3 player with Sioux Indian War chant playing. Quite amusing.

Maybe it is my glue befuddled brain, but I am not in love with either t-shirt design. They both seem a bit over the top busy to me. But, as always, I will go with whatever is picked, I am jsut going to wear the shirt, not marry it!!!

Oh, and I am happy date/no date on the shirt, but last trip a lot of ladies to exception to putting the date on the shirt. Perhaps they are more fashion forward than I, and don't want to wear "last year's frock!!!".

What else, oh, yeah, welcome Carol!! Glad to have you join us, but if you don't much like chatter, you will be driven nuts by us. We are all about the dumb jokes/chatter.

Happy Saturday all.

Oh, one more thing. We are going to Magic Mountain next Friday, my DD is off school since the speech meet is at her school and she didn't make the cut!!

Any advise about Magi Mountain?

AmySue

Hi ladies! How's everyone's Saturday?

I think I like the second shirt best?

Boo Bear is like a regular...and Laurie, too. Oh, and Courtney. She is such a sweetie.:cutie:
They all fit right in with us loonies. Of course, we have a lot of fun, too!

:cloud9:

Yeah, I don't consider those newbies anymore. They are one of us.

We are ohana. ;)

Yes, they are one of us now

:worship:

I wondered about you today when I heard the news. I hate quakes. Was in the Northridge one.... :scared1:
Beth, you are so right, they are a very good reason not to be in Ca.

The Northridge one was really scary. I remember standing in the hallway with my parents and hearing the light bulbs from the streetlights popping outside.

OH NO CHERYL OH NO!!!!! I did the same thing once only it was my eye socket that collided with a metal railing! I got a horrible self inflicted black eye instead of a mock-collagen injection gone wrong, but very similar situation. I'm glad you and Bella are both okay minus a few cosmetic and potential ego injuries.

I don't have an ego about falling and injuring myself anymore--it's a regular occurrence in my life. And the collagen look would be great if it was the ENTIRE lip--unfortunately it's just one side!

Brian: "say wip"
Stewie: "wip"
Brian: "say cool whip"
Stewie: "cool hhhwip"

For those of you who don't think it's funny...well you just have to see it.

I LOVE family guy. I LOVE Stewie!

Hey I'm a newbie and I've stuck around!
We weren't talking about you--you're a regular now. (Notice I didn't say you were "regular" however--because all of us are just plain weird!)

Now that's just plain scary!!!!!!!

Chery, I'm sorry to hear about your fall! But I hope you enjoy your "supermodel lips" while you have them!:rotfl2:

To the ladies meeting tomorrow night, enjoy!

And to all the moms and moms-at-heart, I hope you have a great Mother's Day weekend!:grouphug:

We have a small party that we're working tomorrow, and we're going to my aunt's house on Sunday for a little swim/bbq party.

Oh, and I almost forgot to tell you that I booked the job that I went to check out today! It's a BBQ for about 150 people over Memorial Day weekend. It is a housewarming party for some people who just finished building a beautiful, huge house on an enormous lot. It's super-nice, and the party should be lots of fun. And the big paycheck will help to fund my Disney habit!:cool1:

OK. I'm off to bed. I left the house before noon today, and I just got home.
See you all tomorrow!

See above re: the lips--yay for new jobs and extra Disney dollars!

Happy Saturday everyone!

Why is it that I often have to roll Ty out of bed during the week in order to be on time for work & school, but yet now that it's the weekend and he could have slept in, he chose to wake up at 6:30. Anyhow, we're watching Mary Poppins right now and then we'll head to Gymboree at 10 am. After naptime we have plans to go to the Strip and have a late lunch & frrrrrrozen hot chocolate at Serendipity 3. I would guess that we'll also take a stroll through the Forum Shoppes and Via Bellagio as well. I honestly don't remember the last time I was on the Strip, so this will be fun!!!

Hope that everyone else had great & exciting plans for today, and that those at DL are having a great time. I also hope that Cheryl and her lip are feeling better today!

Oh, and Tina--congrats on the big score for the housewarming picnic!

Yes it is better today=--but still swollen!

I like the second one best, but am afraid it would not "pop" on a black shirt--especially since the outline would fade into the black? or am I crazy? (don't answer that!)

Becoming a member of the Bad Girls Club was the highlight of my week.

Haven't been to MM in about 20 years (at least) so can't help. From the little I know, I would say go and leave early because I think some not so nice people may hang out there in the evenings.

Bella had her first check-up with "my" vet today and got her 10-week shots. She got a clean bill of health. Chase also went for a re-check--he's lost a couple of ounces and isn't eating very well--they took blood so we're waiting to see what's happening with that. Otherwise he's doing his usual "Chase" things, so time will tell.

At work now, with Bella--then going home to make dinner for my Mom who's visiting--then off to the GCH to meet the other Divas (Bella will stay home for that!) Tomorrow morning we are meeting Linda and family for the Sweet Sunday event/brunch. Then home for a quiet MOther's Day.

and Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!

Theresa.. Thank Your friend for me.. it was so sweet of her to come up with those designs.

I love the idea of the black and pink layered shirts!
I'm going to make a pretty hoodie for this years trip.

AmySue..wowowowow... how kewl is that village!

Big Hugs for CheryL.. i hope the swelling has gone down, Miss Angelina JoLie

Ok--have to share--Bella was really acting up--barking at me, etc. I turned on the Disney CD and "poof"--she calmed right down and went to sleep.

oh, how sweet!!!! I love listening to puppies sleep, does she 'bark' while sleeping? I love that!!! :cloud9: I can still hear my baby doing it in my mind.

she hasn't barked in her sleep yet, but she has "chased rabbits"!
