“Mommy, can we go see SNOW WIPE at DIZZY WORLD?! … PEEZZZ” A March 2010 PTR w/pics

Seriously Deanna???? Don't fret, SERIOUSLY. Every year I fret that the girls are "old" this year and then I look at pictures from last year and I say, "OH MY GOSH LOOK HOW LITTLE THEY ARE!!"

In other words, fretting is a waste of time and when you're actually "OLD" you will look back and curse yourself for wasting precious time (and minimally-wrinkled days) BEMOANING your current beauty.... and you are beautiful.

Think about it!

P.S. No, the girls are in So Cal with my family. They're coming home tomorrow! oh, and it's so exciting to feel the baby kick! You're finding out whether you ahve a brother or sister for your little funny pants Reya?! Super cool!

Thank you sweetie!!! You ALWAYS know how to make me feel better!!;)

GUESS WHAT?!?!? :confused3

Congrats, I remember you mentioning a while back that you'd love a boy so it's great to hear you got your wish :goodvibes :dance3:

THANK YOU!!! We'd be happy with whatever, but we're blessed to have both a girl and a boy now. :)

Can you believe that we are both having boys?????????
I KNOW!!!:cool1: Our due dates are so close maybe we'll even have them on the same day! I'm super excited!

I REALLY gotta get working on my PTR and plans!! Time is slipping by WAYYYY to fast!

Thank You for the Congratulations!! We’re extremely EXCITED:woohoo: and TERRIFIED:scared1: all at the same time!!

I’m sorry I’ve been neglecting my PTR. Unfortunately I haven’t felt my best during this pregnancy and have been neglecting a LOT of stuff because of this.:sad2: But that has to change!! I have less then 4 months before the baby gets here and 6 ½ months before we leave on our trip. Time is flying by and it’s time to get serious about planning.

All I did today was sit on the couch to plan, plan, plan. :surfweb: My swollen ankles are proof that I haven’t gotten off the couch except to eat and use the bathroom. :lmao: So being a pregnant woman this means I’ve been up like every 10 mins or so!! Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration ! :rolleyes1

But I did get TWO extremely important things taken care of today…………. I’ve booked both airline tickets and Hotel reservations!!!!!! So it’s OFFICAL we’re going to see Mickey Mouse in March!!!!!!:woohoo:

I’d like to mention that we decided on a totally different hotel then previously mentioned. I’m a little worried about our decision because I absolutely LOVED Lighthouse Key Resort, but I think our new accommodations are a better choice for the kids.

I’m currently working on securing a rental car and getting our Park tickets. Once that’s taken care of I’ll update my PTR for you all !!

Woo-Hoo !!!!! It’s official, we’re actually going to Disney World!! No turning back now!!:woohoo:

I booked airline tickets for 4 adults and 3 children yesterday!

I’m a little disappointed because I had to book the tickets on United Airlines instead of my favorite carrier Frontier. Oddly they were actually cheaper, which almost NEVER happens.

Our flight leaves Denver at 8:05 AM and arrives in Orlando at 1:30 PM!! It’s going to be so nice to get to Orlando in 3 ½ hours rather then 3 ½ days!! But I won’t lie, I’m extremely nervous about taking a 3 month old and a 3 year old on the plane. Reya has only flown once and she was 3 months old at the time. She cried for the first 30 minutes of the flight, then fell asleep for the rest, so it wasn’t too bad. :confused3 I’m actually thinking she’ll do better then I do, I’m terrified of flying, but luckily I’ll have 3 other adults to help me with the baby.

When I called United’s customer service to add a lap child, the guy laughed his butt off when I told him the baby didn’t actually exist yet, and he told me to call back when the baby has made his big debut. :rotfl2:

Well, I’m excited to finally have something set in stone! YAY!!! :yay: I’ll be back with our hotel information.

Our hotel reservations have been made. We’ve decided to stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. We’re splitting the cost with my sister-in-law and only paying $950.00 for 10 nights.

It’s not as pretty as Lighthouse Key, but it offers the same plus more. We’ll be staying in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo. I definitely like the location better and they have an amazing pool with a pirate ship/slide for the kids. Also have a restaurant, pizza hut express, store, game room, exercise room, and are located right next door to the Outlet stores. Think and hope we made the right decision. I looked into staying on property at Disney World but couldn’t justify spending twice the amount of money for a standard size hotel room.

Here’s a picture of the condo layout.

I'm starting to think that I've lost all my previous readers! But I'm going to continue on ((I guess)) :confused3

Today I'm going to work on finding a rental car. Does anybody recommend a certain rental company?!?! It's been awhile since I've had to rent a car since we usually drive to Florida with our own vehicle. So far it looks like Thrifty is going to be our best bet.

I wanted to share baby Jayden's latest photo with everyone!!! He looks just like his daddy already and weighs 1lb 6oz! How cute is that?!?!? I can't wait to meet him!!

:littleangel:

Does anybody know where I can find some good deals on rental cars?!? The car I was looking at last week has gone up $400.00 total!! :scared1:

Also, I was wondering where I could find some GOOD quality Princess dresses? I want to buy a couple for my daughter before we go on our trip, but the dresses from the Disney Store just look cheap and not worth the outragous prices.
*********
So, I'm considering restarting my PTR since nobody has been reading or responding. Not sure if it would make a difference, but I sorta feel like I'm wasting my time here.... Guess I'll give it a few more posts to decide. :confused3:confused3

I really do enjoy people's advice and input. :rolleyes1

I wish I could figure out what I'm doing wrong and why I've had a lack of response?!?!?

For those of you who HAVE stuck with me..... here's some photos of our last Disney trip I thought I was share.

Hey girl!

What a beautiful room and pool!!!!!! You guys are so brave... I would want to stay on Disney property just cause I'm a WDW virgin and totally clueless about the area but that place is GORGEOUS!

Love your new baby pic! I also love the name Jayden. I think if I had a boy I'd name him Jace after the Mortal Instruments series! I love that name!

Who is that cute boy in your pictures? My girls are 12 and 13 and now I believe in arranged marriages. I'm always looking for a good family to marry them into. :bride::bride:

:lmao:

Let me know if you start a new PTR either way I'll be along!

Hey sweetie!!

I'm a little nervous about staying someplace new, but I'm up for a new adventure!! My sister in law and her family lived in Orlando for 6 months back in 2007, so we'll have our own little tour guides.

Ohhhhh, Jace!! That's an awesome name too! We've always been set on Jayden, ever since I was pregnant with Reya. It's become extremely popular and that's my only problem with it. I can't believe I'm already 6 months pregnant, it seems like only yesterday that I found out.

That "cute" boy is my cousin, Mike! :) He is a total sweetheart, but a "little" too old for your girls. He's 19 or 20 now. :confused3

I'm so excited..... Right before I logged onto the DIS, I registered Reya for her 1st Ballet/Jazz class! I've been looking forward to this day for a LONG time!! Having a girl is soooo much fun! :cool1:

I'll be sure to let you know if I start a new ptr!!

Here are a few tips about doing PTRs or TRs that I've picked up over the last few years:

PTRs and TRs are about building friendships. It's nice to read people's PTRs and TRs, but I'm more apt to stay with a report if I know the person a bit better. This means finding 5-10 TRs or PTRs that interest you and subscribing to them and getting to know the person writing the report. Once you develop your online friendship, they are more apt to sign on to your PTR and stick with it. I've made some GREAT friends on the DIS that I've never met in person. I'm currently subscribed to 50 PTRs/TRs! That might be too many....When you are starting this process look for PTRs that have just started! Then you're on board right from the beginning.

It's nice to have a table of contents in your first post and links to each PTR related post. Take a look at mine for some ideas.

I didn't have any replies to my first PTR for 2-3 days....just keep at it. No need to start a new one. It's really a learning curve for everyone. Remember, we were all new to this at one time so we know how you are feeling!

If you need anymore ideas or help, let me know.

FYI, Jordan's a great name...:rolleyes1

FWIW i'm really enjoying your PTR, I know it's disheartening when no-one replies (heck i've only posted mine in the UK section as I 'know' most of the people on there... Haven't built up the nerve to post it on this section yet as we're doing New York and Boston aswell and i'm worried people won't want to read it because it's not 100% WDW) but keep at it :goodvibes I found it from your previous TRs so I agree with Jordan that the earlier someone follows along the more likely they are to stick with it so you've got plenty of time to gain more readers before your trip :) Your resort looks great, looove the pirate pool :cool1:

Thanks Jordan and Lizzy!!!!! I'm glad you're still here! :thumbsup2

And yes Jordan, I agree ..... Jordan is a great name!! That's the name of my favorite New Kid on the Block!:rotfl2: Not that I listen to them anymore, but when I was 16 OHHHHH BOY!!!!!! I L.O.V.E.D Jordan
