Celebrating my Un-Birthday Disney Style-April 2010-New 5/3 - The TR has started!

:banana::banana::banana:

Hi Amy!! Wow!! Only 4 days left!!:yay::dance3::yay:You must be getting so excited!!! Love your plans!!:thumbsup2 They look great!:goodvibes Here's hoping the weather is just as beautiful for your trip as it was for ours.:wizard:

Now it's only 3!! I'm glad you guys had a great trip!!

Are you packed??

Almost... I have the majority of my packing finished, I'll probably have to wait until Wednesday night/Thursday morning to pack the rest.

How about you?

I can't believe it but we're down to three days! I got a lot of packing finished up & packed everything I could yesterday. I made Tim sort his underwear into the "A team" and "B team" and told him he can only wear B team underwear until we leave! :laughing:

The rest of the packing involves mostly the kids stuff that they sleep with, toiletries, kids travel cups & things we'll have in our carry ons (snacks, etc.).

The next three days are really busy so the time should fly by! I'm sure you don't care about all of the details of my schedule, since most of you are just as busy, but here it is anyways... it feels good to write it down. :thumbsup2

Today I have to work this morning then put up a bulletin board at school for the spring family dance that will be the Saturday after we get back. Then I have to take our frogs & fish over to my neighbor's house. After school we have an appointment. I'll have time tonight, which may end up being used for a little work.

Tomorrow I volunteer in Zach's class (I do this every Tuesday morning), then I have a little work to finish up on my new job. After school Zach has karate, but Alex won't be home until late (he goes with a "spectrum mentor" once or twice a week after school to work on community skills). Then I have a PTO meeting tomorrow night.

Wednesday starts with online check-in with Southwest!! Followed by a trip to my wax lady. :eek: Then I have to do the payroll for my new job, which shouldn't take too long. Then I'll have some time to get rolling on the last of the packing. Zach has an appointment with his psychologist afterschool & Alex will be with his mentor again. :thumbsup2 So once we get home from Zach's appointment (around 3:30) we don't have any committments, other than to finish packing/cleaning up. :banana:

How about you?

My youngest son Cody (17 yrs) had 3 soccer games this weekend:scared1: One indoor & two outdoor so I did not get too much done this weekend. Today at lunch I came home & got out some of the summer clothes that I will be bringing. I also took next Thursday off so I will be very busy that day.:)

First I want to share current pictures of our countdowns...

Zach's calendar...

And Alex's: Before... (and this is actually several days into it...)

And now...

And some long overdue pictures from Easter:

Notice Zach has on his shirt & tie (along with his faux-hawk) so he could be "handsome" for Easter... and Alex in his sweatpants! He would wear them everyday if I let him!

Wow - that is a busy weekend!! I'm glad you took a day off to take care of your last minute errands & packing!

It's so exciting when the countdown calendars and chains are almost finished!!! :banana:

Zach is so handsome in his Easter finery, but I am with Alex -- I would dress casual every day if I could!

Your pictures reminded me that I never posted our Easter pictures -- maybe I should do that before April is completely over. :laughing:

"A" team & "B" team-:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao: I love it!!!

I love hearing about your plans. We just went to K Mart & got my husband some more "No Show" socks. He hates wearing that kind & likes to wear what I call the "pepere" (french for grandfather) socks that I refuse to be seen with him wearing:rotfl: So he goes along with me on this one.

I sure hope that forecast you printed from 4/30 to 5/2 is correct:banana:!!

I rolled all our coin that I save over the year yesterday. It will pay for our tips for our driver to & from the airport. Every little bit helps. I also printed some "Mousekeeping Tip Envelopes.

It is so exciting to be so close!!:):)

Zach was so funny! He thought a mohawk would make him handsome!

Rolled coins! That reminds me I need to take ours to the bank... I already purchased the kids' Disney gift cards, but the rolled coins were for that purpose... I think I'll just cash in the coins for traveling cash. Thanks for the reminder!!

I know what you mean about the socks... I just bought some new shorter socks for DH - not exactly the no show kind, but the really short ones, I think they are called ankle socks. They aren't his favorites, but he wears them in the summer.

Yay for mousekeeping envelopes! :thumbsup2

3 days!!!!!

2! :banana:

Since there are a few of you who are checking in for the extended Orlando forecast (and you know I'm going to look)... here it is:

Thurday 4/22: 85, mostly sunny & nice
Friday 4/23: 85, mostly sunny & seasonable
Saturday 4/24: 87, mostly sunny & nice
Sunday 4/25: 88, a t-storm possible
Monday 4/26: 87, watch for strong t-storms (.43 precip) :scared1:
Tuesday 4/27: 83, a shower in the morning (.02 precip)
Wednesday 4/28: 79, mostly sunny
Thursday 4/29: 78, partial sunshine (.04 precip)
Friday 4/30: 76, partial sunshine
Saturday 5/1: 79, mostly sunny
Sunday 5/2: 84, abundant sunshine

We'll keep our eyes on the sky on Monday (the word STRONG makes me nervous), but otherwise our 11 days look fantastic! :thumbsup2

That reminds me of something Owen said last night. They were finishing up their bath and as I toweled off Connor, I kind of played with his hair and made a faux-hawk. Owen said, "Mama has made you a fox-hawk!" :rotfl: I guess he'd seen the term before, but didn't know how to properly pronounce it.

You're so close Amy!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2: That's so funny! :laughing:

Last night I was reading with Alex and it was a story about a school. There was a new school janitor in the story... after reading his first chapter, he flipped through the pages and saw a picture and said, "I bet that's the new generator." :rotfl: I think it's hillarious that he is more familiar with the term generator than janitor! :laughing:
