Squirts, Shirts, & Flirts...The Legend Continues (TR started 6-23)

wow...your trip is really close! Can't wait to hear about you staying at the fort. I think this is how I will convince DH to go back when Caleb is a little older. We just went this past Feb with my parents and brother/SIL/nephew and Caleb slept most of the time in his stroller (he is way to big for a carrier) so we spent a lot of time out of attractions and in the shops because they would not let us in any shows with a stroller except flights of wonder....so that really rubbed my husband the wrong way....not because we were not allowed to go in...but that there was nothing really to do until Caleb woke up.

Plus we will actually be paying for this trip and he like to camp (unless we convince mom and dad to take the whole family again but that is very expensive at the beach club plus my parents want to wait until my 2 wk old niece is a little older and we would have another one so that they can go too)

Have fun! Parker should be way more into this time since he is older now!

Ok favor time... PLEASE take loads of pix of Bob's show for me!!! :worship:

i just looked at his schedule, it looks like his show starts at 8:30 right?

our luau starts at 5:15 i think so im thinking it is over about 7 ish, we hit the monorail to MK, then bus to POR and make it for teh show on time.

We'll try to get there around 8pm to try to get some seats. Hopefully it won't be difficult to get a bunch together. Fingers crossed.

I hope that your shirts are going well. We are getting so much rain right now, it is a great day to work on a project inside.

So since I am assuming you are off work tomorrow for holiday, are you officiall on vacation now? No work for 2 weeks?
yep i was off work, but go back to work tomorrow and wednesday hten a few hours on thursday then off the rest of the week and the next 2 weeks.

yeah it was a whole different side of disney when we took parker last trip, but it was pretty good on the naps in the parks...we just kinda watched when he was getting tired and went on stuff that we knew he would fall asleep on. and then kinda just try and carry him on other stuff while sleeping or walk around some while he napped.

the camping rates in the off season are pretty reasonable i will have bunch of pics and stories for you about the campground. he is getting really excited he knows its coming and everything reminds him of it.

he loves looking at old pictures on the walls and in books.

okay sounds good, just tell them your dates are in teh bathroom works all the time, i have faith in you.

and i forgot to answer part of your last question, our annivesary is in Sept...but when my parents take me or my sister to disney they use it as part of our annivesary present as well, so they will get us our anniversary buttons and that saturday night is our alone night to go out for dinner and have an adult night, we dont mind hanging with you we are looking forward to hanging out and meeting you guys.

I hope that your shirts are going well. We are getting so much rain right now, it is a great day to work on a project inside.

i think they turned out pretty good, i have pictures of them and my parents liked them when we took them to them tonight, next time we might go with all white shirts thought so the outline around the pictures does not show up white, but i think we trimmed them up okay so they still look pretty neat.

Have a great trip if I don't make it back. Can't wait to read about it.

this time in 2 weeks...

takes us to AK lunch is up in the air but i believe we are prob going to eat at pizzafari, we really like it there..

we also hope to finally see nemo, candi and I have never seen the show, we have always skipped it.

i am not 100 percent sure on dinner, i think we are eating at the tusker house? but i really do not know, we switched up our plans for this night and i have no idea where it is in my report that i put it, so i dont know where to check...i guess it will be my suprise dinner.

ALSO today we makr 3 days till we leave, and since it was a holiday that means 1 less work day till we leave.

we took all of our clothes to my parents house tonight as well as about 80% of the other stuff we are taking, some food, and toys for parker, pins, stuff like that...just have a few basics we will pack up and take on wednesday night then we just take us on thursday before we leave.

we also took another trip to chicago this weekend to the zoo, so i hope to have some of those pictures up before we leave for you to enjoy.

You are soooo far ahead of us in the packing department. I've located our blister band-aids from last year's trip, and I bought Starbucks instant coffee. That's about it.

we also took another trip to chicago this weekend to the zoo, so i hope to have some of those pictures up before we leave for you to enjoy.

Chicago?! Darn those Blackhawks.

well you can still wish us happy anniversary, and buy me something,

well normally we dont pack till the night before, but we wanted to get all of our stuff over there, and not have alot to take the night before...also we had to put everything in the closests and draws when we got there so that took some time as well.

i know the games are pretty exciting and we get into them now...i kinda hope they lose 1 game there, so they win it in chicago.:thumbsup2

this time in 2 weeks...

we find ourselves on another off day, depending on weather again, we may hit up another water park, or enjoy some other things WDW has available, maybe a little resort hopping, or DTD again, or just playing at the campground some.

lunch will find us where we land, or we will find lunch where we land.

dinner we split up again, my parents will be behind us on TS used, so they will be hitting california grill for a romantic evening, and we will be with parker at kona for some teriyaki beef.

we found a few things on there menu that we really thought looked good, so we might get 2 different ones and split them.

the rest of the night is up in the air, maybe the singalong for parker, or some night time swimming.

also we leave in 2 days.
:goodvibes

Two days?!! Holy smokes!

:cool1:

:yay:

and
i know it is starting to get real now, seemed like it wasnt for a while, because normally we would go to sleep one night then wake up you fly and are there the same day. now we leave and travel a few days before we get there, but it is starting to sink in now and hope tommorrow goes by fast, i think it will i have a few things to tie up at work before we leave, so hopefully that helps the time, and my vacation notice is out, so alot of people are calling for last minute things before i leave so that will help as well.

This weekend was nice, it was relaxing, fun, good weather, functional.

It had everything.

We started friday night with our normal pizza night group of about 20 of us that go out to eat, my BIL's dad who is also my boss, takes a large group out every other week or so for pizza, and parker won a curious george doll in the animal claw game.

saturday, we had great weather took a 4.5 mile walk and back downtown to return some library books...and enjoy the morning weather...the afternoon found us outback in parks pool soaking up the sun and getting a good base tan for our trip.

Then cookout with candis parents for dinner, and watched the blackhawks beat the flyers (sorry glenn):goodvibes

then sunday we took our annual memorial day trip up to the zoo in chicago.

the new ape house is really cool there, you can get so close to them it is great.

candi got a close up of his breakfast, she was right next to the glass when he turned his head.

this polar bear was really cool, he did laps around the entire pool then when he would get by parker, he would dip down and put his face right by the glass and stair at him while he went around, we stayed for a few of his round trips, and every time he would go under and stair at him.

we stayed at the zoo for afew hours and had a picnic lunch, then it was time to go across the street to the beach and hang out there for a while...it was great weather and very crowded, this is just a part of the beach you can see how busy it was, it went even farther the other direction with people.

parker played with grandma on the blanket

and of course played with grandpa in the water, who forgot a suit so had to swim in his jean shorts.

for dinner we had my parents over as well as candis for a big sub platter that candi won from subway.

monday, we finished packing stuff up and then went to my parents for dinner to load the camper with all of our stuff.

so it was a busy, fun, eventful, productive weekend.

and even more important we are down to 2 days till we leave.
