Why does everyone hate Justin Bieber so much? He's got a great voice and sings pop music. (Like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys.) Women of my age are buying tickets to the retro concerts, but dissing Bieber. At least he can really carry a tune.

Haters gonna hate. :lmao:

But in all seriousness.... for as many people who "hate" things there are 5 times as many people that "love" the same thing.

Recent things that I can think of...

Twilight
Harry Potter
Miley Cyrus
non-Apple computers
etc.

The haters usually have the louder voice.

I personally do not get the Justin Beiber hype but I can appreciate that he has a good voice.

I will confess to Bieber fever; talked my 20 something daughter into seeing the 3D concert movie with me.

She was not a hater exactly, more of a dismissive.

OK, so now his picture is the wallpaper on her phone, her ipod, and she and her roommate had a party when his concert DVD came out! They even made t-shirts!

I am not the only crazy one; just maybe the oldest.

At my son's middle school, the girls love him and the boys hate him. I think it's a tween thing - the boys don't consider it cool to like a male performer who is relatively close to their age. There seems to a lot of Bieber drama between the boys and girls. Several girls have pictures of him on their binders or bookcovers. The boys go out of their way to snatch the books and turn the covers inside-out and turn the binders over if Bieber is visible! It's probably just their way of getting attention from the girls without actually appearing to like them!

I don't really have an opinion on his singing. I've never heard much of anything but "Baby, Baby" or whatever it's called. I did hear some things from a person I know that probably put me off on him a little, but then, he's very young and new to all the attention.

He attended a party a Shaq's house, here in Orlando, last year (prior to Shaq's move to Boston). He was in town for a charity thing with Shaq. My friend lives a couple of houses away from Shaq's house. Her kids were friends of Shaq's kids so they were invited to the party. The girls wanted to have their picture taken with Justin. The only way he would agree to it was if my friend let him drive their Nev (it's an electric car a little bigger than a golf cart) around the neighborhood. At the time, I don't think Justin had a driver's license and the Nev is a street legal vehicle. In the end, they let him drive the Nev and the girls got their picture, but they were pretty disappointed in the way he treated people at the party.

I like him just fine, young enough to be age appropriate for my daughter to fan, and I don't hate his voice.

He's just one in the long parade of teen idols. They come, have a big hit and are extremely popular for a while, then slowly burn out and fade away.

Take a look at Aaron Carter and the boys in Hanson. Same thing will happen to Justine Bieber. His career will be over when he makes his first real Hollywood film, not including his concert movie. The system will chew him up and spit him out.

I love Justin Bieber. Was a hater before I saw the movie. Cried about five times and then fell in love with the kid (well, not fell in love WITH him, but WITH his image, I guess you could say.)

I'm in my 40's and I can't imagine anyone my age liking a teeny bopper. I don't call that hate I call it age appropriate behavior. I did the Donny Osmond swooning back in my day but then I grew up.

I don't enjoy his music. I hated NKOTB, BSB and NSYNC too. I just don't do that kind of cheesy pop. I've also seen some evidence of him being a spoiled brat.

Well no argument here:lmao:

omG I"m old enough to remember Bobby Sherman and Davy jones. He's a fly by night teen idol and I'll survive till the next girly guy comes along. :lmao: There WILL be another one.:surfweb:
