Correct.. a beer... :drinking1

Two votes for iPhone.

Any Droid users out there who can share their experiences.

I have an android- HTC Evo 3D. Which is weird because I have turned into an apple fan after buying a macbook pro a few years ago.

I like having the ability to use widgets. Each screen on my phone can be customized. My battery life is pretty good. With moderate use I can go 36 hours before recharging. Using the internet (browser) drains the battery quick. I don't have to sync my phone to itunes & I can purchase songs using amazon and drag the mp3 files to my computer. Using the widgets, I can toggle 4G, bluetooth, wifi, 3g, etc...

DW & I have 1500 shared minutes, free nights & weekends, free mobile to mobile, and unlimited data usage plan through Sprint (she has an EVO 4G) and with taxes & fees we pay about $135 a month.

I'm sure there is more differences... you should use a friends phone to check out the differences for yourself.

I've played around with both... and I really like both. :thumbsup2

But it's hard to get a good feel for long term, when you just monkey around for a couple of mins.

My son is into the Angry Birds, seems liked they teamed up with the movie Rio, now there is a whole new game plus toys:scared1:

Okay, let's do this. Back a couple of summers ago, I joined up to the DIS in order to get some more info on a few things for my upcomming trip. While looking around the boards, I came across a link in a sig for a thread of DisDads, thought , hmm, interesting, so I clicked the link and ended up in....a closed thread. :lmao: I didn't really think too much of it until later, post trip, when we were planning another trip. Once again, I found the thread, that was active, and it seemed pretty fun, so why not? I fit the criteria, and dove on in. I haven't had as much fun on a social-interaction board since the old OLD days of the BBS systems. Different people, different backgrounds, from all over, talking Disney, making jokes, and sharing their love of their kids. Perfect. I've never been a social butterfly, but it is a good feeling to have somewhere to go where I can let loose and have a little fun. I have appriciated the welcome I have gotten here, and hope I've never offended anyone with my jokes. I love getting perspective on being a dad from everyone here, inspiring me to be that much better to my kids. I love the fact I am not ridiculed for not knowing a damn thing about football here, hockey being the only sport I follow :lmao:

Lacking anything appropriate to quote here, as always, I turn to Mater

"Ya hurt yer what?"

Cheers!:drinking1

If you haven't been ridiculed for knowing nothing about football, then somebody has been sleeping on the job.:lmao:

Congrats on 1000!

I'll drink to that...heck I'd drink to just about anything.

First 1000 is the toughest... the next few will zoom right by.

Congrats...

Git 'er done.

Congrats on the 1000th! :woohoo:

Hope to see you here for 1000 more! :thumbsup2

You don't want to wear a Dolphin jersey unless you want to be made fun of. Trust me I know. Congrats on the 1,000.

Speaking of football was this the saddest way to end the season? Nick Saben Wooo (you little Beverly).

Hey guys, just checking in, back at home...

Will post more about the trip tomorrow when I have some energy, but overall it was great. Kidani Village was awesome, finished the Goofy challenge, had a couple terrific (albeit ridiculously early) DisDads meets, and maybe a Dole Whip or two.

Hope everyone is doing well, let me know what I missed!

:thumbsup2

Hello fellow Disney Dads! I'm Matthew with a DD (7). Discovered DISboards while preparing for our first cruise a year ago on the Wonder through the Panama Canal. Discovered DIS Dads because one of the members of our next cruise (6/16/12 EC Fantasy) is a member. Normally I would never join a club that would have me as a member but for this group I would definitely make an exception! So, if it pleases the membership, sign me up!

Welcome Matthew! Nice to have you aboard, er ashore, or wherever you are!

Seriously though - it's great you found us and want to become one of us.

I see that you live 20 mins from Disneyland! Awesome! I used to live 10 mins from that wonderful place - sadly the last 10 years I've been stuck here in the midwest - but that puts me in between both wonderful places - which I get to multiple times each year.

And I have a Matthew in my household (DS13) - so there you go. Disneyland and Matthew. Awesome all around.

Emma's Dad will be around soon enough to give you your membership number... until then, relax, check it out, and jump right in on the conversation.
