NEW RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PARKING AND CRUISING AND YES I HAVE CHECKED IT OUT.

Good afternoon all,
I have checked out a new place that needs to be checked out...It is called Cruise Parking of Port Canaveral and located right on US #1 Cocoa, Florida
The owner is Todd Oakey who was with the law enforcements, has all the needed licenses etc. Super person to work with...I found him to be very helpful and accomadating to all questions that I asked of him...Most important...he does NOT keep your keys. The place was a car lot tthat he had completely renovated with 8 ft link fence, extremely well lit and high security...They have their own shuttles with full service, load and unload luggage...anything you need...they also offer homemade bakery items that is also located inside of the parking area....Fully a/c and comforable seating and separate kids room to keep them entertain if needed...the cost is $5.99 with a discount to seniors and veteran for $4.99 plus tax of 6%....
They are family owned and all involved which is a plus...(Love those family owned business)

I really believe they would make a good choice to leave your vehicle at...my own thoughts after seeing the area and speaking with Todd and I really did like him and found him to really be very honest on anything I asked him....TRY IT AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!

It is always so good Barb to have choices and not be confined to just one or two...I met this young man and really was impressed with him...Maybe the fact that he was a police officer and protected folks like me, maybe cause I found him ready to answer any of my questions that I had, maybe because I saw so much kindness in him and maybe because the family are all involved and its working out...I don't know but I loved his aura and I am seldom wrong on that feeling...Now don't get his place confused with the one that I did NOT recommend from the beginning...Todd's place is completely different..

You know Michael with VIP Limo was an excellent choice and now Todd so good morning all and have a great day....we ALL need a

OK I just called to find out what it was all about and its a deal with Ron Jon's Resort BUT the catch is to have to attend one of their "time share" sessions...
At one time when my ex and I were at Las Vegas, we did it and found it BORING and VERY PRESSURED...we walked out and said no way...but if you up to going to the session and interested in a timeshare, they do give you free rooms...your choice ...ME? I do not like timeshares so I wouldn't do it..again your choice...

Here is a note I just received from Todd which will explain everything...

Dear Ms Shirley

I noticed following your post regarding our facility...someone asked you about the free hotel deal posted on our page...That is a company that markets for the Ron Jon Cape Caribe time share at the port...basically they are looking for people who may want to come into town early or stay a few days when they get back from their cruise. So the free hotel is legit, but it means they would have to go through the time share and water park tour which is about 2 hours, to get the free stay. He offers that to people who park with us and contact him to schedule an appointment. Not a bad deal if you are willing to give 2 hours for 3 days extra in Cocoa Beach. Not sure how well this has worked, he has only advertised for the past week. Anyway, just wanted to keep you up on any questions that may come your way...

I just want to thank you again for taking your time with me yesterday...we are young in the business, but very eager and dedicated to 100% Customer Service first...Quality always over Quantity!!!

My own thoughts on this couple – I have found Michael and Marlene to really care about their guests and go over the edge to please. Very honorable, honest and most of all reliable.
UPDATE... they now have a stretch limo with a lot of extras including a Karoke machine - holds up to at least 10 to 15 people

I've tried looking up reviews but haven't found much on this company, other than your original post about them from 2010. Just wondering if you still have the same (great) opinion of them? YES most definitely...I feel Michael is not only a trusted person, but very knowledgeable about this area...He was born and raised here so he kinda gives you a "tour" while you are in his "care"...

The ones that I decided to oust out of recommendations was Zackery''s restaurant in Cape Canaveral which I gave chances after chances to get it right ....Pete Werner and his team went there to eat (without my warning) and his comment to me after I asked how he liked it (to make sure it was just me) he said it was AWFUL...the food, the service nothing they could do right...

My next was Luna by the Seas in cocoa Beach Motel and the Clarion Hotel in Merritt Island...just too many issues and complaints made to me and when I wrote to the Owner/manager to inform him, he wasn't interested in what I had to say even though his guest did have legit issues....

I love working with Country Inn and suites, Residence Inn, Radisson, Best Western, Days Inn, Wakulla, Courtyard and the Marriott...IF ANYONE HAS AN ISSUE THAT THEY WRITE ME ABOUT, all I have to do is send an email and they are right on top of it ...write me back and thanking me for watching over them and NOPE THERE IS NO COMPENSATION NO NOTHING, nada in it for me or the shop...I do this to watch over our visitors for when I first knew I was going to have the shop, my dream happened that I would have a safe haven "home" for those that needed help without no strings attached...

Anyhow that is it for today...thanks for the question and glad I was able to answer

I was making my car reservations the other day and noticed that you can now book a car through National for Cape Canaveral. You can pick up or drop off your National car rental at the Enterprise location. It's a National reservation, but Enterprise provides the service in Cape Canaveral.

This means I get to use the Emerald Aisle at MCO and can drop the car before the cruise at Cape Canaveral. On the trip back, there won't be an Emerald Aisle, but I can still earn my credits on National and take advantage of the great service we've had returning cars with National at MCO.

Let me start by saying thank you so much for the kind words. As a small family operated business it is very expensive to advertise enough so that people even know your service is available! You just don’t know how good it feels to receive a recommendation from someone like yourself. Everyone trusts and respects your knowledge of the cruise industry…especially out of the Port Canaveral area.

I know we just provide parking and shuttle service, but we truly care about every person who walks through our door and we completely understand our customer’s vacation starts and ends with us. Because we are a small local business, we decided from day one that we would compete with all of the big guys through customer service, customer service and customer service! I limited the number of vehicles on our lot so that I could guarantee no one else in the business would be able to provide the level of care and customer service that we provide our customers. You have my word that your recommendation will guarded with the promise that every customer will leave our facility knowing they have never received customer service like this from anyone else.



Now that whole PCA mess…all I can say is unbelievable! Generally I don’t get up and make speeches, but they had me so worked up…. I had to get up and put my two cents in at the podium during the July 3rd meeting. Hopefully all that was said did not fall on deaf ears!

Use our gas and don’t worry about being 5 min. closer…

Also, our Senior and Veteran rates are $4.99 per day and our normal rates are $5.99 per day.
