Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

I didn't see an answer above- Is it too late to get a Disney Visa now? I mean, if you are approved do they give you your card number right away to make a reservation?

Here is hoping you are right. I modified an existing res last year and had things really messed up with FP+ and dining based on just adding the dining plan.

I've never dealt with changing a reservation after booking FP+ because I'm never that close to my travel dates when I change it, so I cant really comment on that. I HAVE changed after making dining reservations though, so if something did happen to your dining reservations when you switched that was a glitch with the system unfortunately.

I did a quick Google search and I'm seeing 10 days to two weeks being quoted as arrival times, so it certainly appears so.

I had plans to sign up for a card myself, but if I won't get it in time I probably won't bother.

It normally takes 7-9 business days. My husband used my referral April 9th, and got his card April 18th. So, its probably too late to make the tentative release date. However, it may change! Never know

My son's school district, in central Alabama, doesn't have fall break, unfortunately. I wish we did. I should start emailing and calling the Board of Education about that..haha

Yeah I was going to say the general time is 7-10 business days... but you know snail mail, I'd never count on something coming in time this close to when you need it. But I will say there are other perks besides early access free dining to have the disney visa card for. We got a discount when using it to pay for purchases at gift shops, theres a special character meet in Epcot, and theres always the 1-2% back in Disney rewards.

I just modified my reservation today. Added another day of tickets and just did it on MDE with no problems!

We booked through Travel Agent and only see Edit Plans so could be - although Cancel is not an option either. On the plus side, she keeps a good eye out.

Our fall break in southern Indiana is two weeks starting October 3 this year. We'll probably go October 2-10 or 12
