The Duffy trip sounds like it was a very awesome quick trip! You fit a lot into a short period of time.

As for being ready for next week... well, I'm not too busy besides the normal day job so I should be ok. Woke up yesterday sick, but at least I can get that out of the way BEFORE we go! (Or so I hope!)

Lists are my friends. I'm responsible for cutting down a good portion of the rainforest with the paper I've been using up with lists, lists and more lists.

It was fantastic i wish we could do more of them! I thought we would get a lot more done yet the crowds were not on our side. Those were the only two parks on the list. I don't think i could set foot in MK without the whole family with us!
NO you cannot be sick! GET BETTER!
I have lists on top of lists. i am just like everyone else with the plethora of lists. too Bad i don't look at the finished lists until the day before we leave... LOL

I love the way you all entertained yourselves in line. I need to use that one during my next trip. But then again I am usually the one talking to complete strangers around me. LOL!

Guess it doesn't seem like that much but some of those absorbed large crowds that are now in other lines in the park. It's been a long time since I've been to HS without what seems like huge crowds. I'm definitely looking forward to the new stuff to help direct crowds elsewhere! Not trying to be a downer, just want you to be prepared.

I still have bowls in the fridge! I usually make something for when friends or family stops by! and beer.. you must have beer.

Then we started on the house

She ended up looking like the joker.

Took the kids trick or treating IN THE RAIN by the time we came back home the rain had finally stopped so it was time....

Inside the HAUNTED Tent.




The smoke machine did a great job. Mind you this is being put on by 11 year olds. Who scared every single person who DARED to enter. I never laughed SO HARD. ohh and you can see my Jack sweatshirt! I allowed Allie- the mannequin- to wear for this special occasion! there were several groups of kids who would NOT go into the tent. I swear i peed myself laughing so hard.

Matt had a couple of masks he would change out periodically sit in the chair with the bowl of candy on his lap.

No one would go into the bowl.
Zack was in the corner under a black light and would jump out. Meg was walking the graveyard screaming at people. Which alone scared people! (which was weird... she's a midget... yelling!) But they did the trick! This was also Meg's first time getting into the whole haunted scaring people thing. She did REALLY WELL!
we cleaned up and went to bed since they had their last football game the next day! BOO

I was SO SAD! I just LOVE LOVE FOOTBALL! just as much as i love Disney! It's bittersweet- I will miss football like crazy- yet i will get my house back, not worry about the kids getting hurt, real food on the table instead of the crockpot!

The game was going like normal we were losing 21-0 until the last 7 minutes of the 4th. ALL of a sudden someone put a fire under these kids we got up to 21! It was AMAZING! yet still lost 38-21 It was a great game. we stayed for JV since a lot of my friends kids is on the team. OMG it was one of the best football games i have ever watched. Including NFL! THEY WON! all the scouts were extremely impressed!!!
I am SO sad it's over i am really going to miss this! Thankfully i have VOLLEYBALL season and Disney next week to ease the pain.

Ok i need to get OFF the Dis get some work done and DISNEY STUFF DONE!

They have already painted the Animation building gray and black for Star Wars, there was a banner on the building too. I should have taken a picture, but i was too sad...

Our trip was pretty crowded, I hope the crowds die down some, the day we were in Hollywood Studies, there was an hour wait for the Great Movie Ride. The line started outside, I have never seen that before, and needless to say, we didn't ride it. But we still had so much fun.

This started a couple of years ago when we went trick or treating. a house around the block from had characters in front of the house and would scared the candy out of people. Well Zack was in awe. We came home and he sat on the porch and would pop up and scare people. Matt liked this and would stand on the other side of my porch. Nothing crazy. Yet everyone got scared!
So the next year we did it up a lot more for the boys and start their scaring. again nothing outlandish just threw out some decorations-- the boys bought new masks and cloaks did the same thing! next year after that we put out more and more. This year was the biggest with the tent out, Meg's first year getting into the action. Next year? I am sure i will have my entire front yard possibly some of my HOUSE done for the trick or treaters!!! Tom and I have always been HUGE fans of Halloween now that the kids are into it -- it's all out halloween wars! HA HA HA.

Moving wings? So cool!!

How about that! He actually was given extra candy from some of the houses we stopped at! LOL

seriously.

I have not been home. IF i don't have to work job #2 today i am OFF after this City job. Which means i can go home do my work out, shower, and START PACKING! so fingers crossed i don't have to work!!!

Yesterday worked my normal job --then Volleyball practice at 3:30- raced home meg threw on her jersey for her game at 5:30. Home about 7ish? maybe 6:30? Showers dinner and bed. so nope nothing done for the trip.
I was able to get some more of our home movies done.. I HOPE to get movie #4 done today.
Start working on our Music CD's for the 18 hour drive next week

I KNOW the weather changes --- I do live in Chicago where we can have ALL seasons happen in one day yet i am keeping an eye out. I am NOT even looking at IF it's going to rain or not.. I have given up on that years ago. Just know it will rain a lot in Epcot.
As of today it looks like highs of 80's during the day and lo's of upper 50's or lower 60's.. Totally doable, just like our 2011 trip! YAY!

Here are our days:​

Thursday November 12th Kids go to school- have tests this day - they think we are leaving on Friday don't want them to mess up their tests!
The kids will be home about 3:05 The car will be loaded up already let them get changed grab the FEW things for the drive and off we go--- hopefully about 4.

Then Drive. a lot.

I will start the drive so Tom will be in charge of taking a few pictures as we go along.

Friday the 13th we will be In Florida making our way to Kathy's house. drop off some things for the night
What i would like to do is some resort hopping, hit Disney SPRING (i'll never get used to that)
couple of other places. I doubt we will hit up MK with the parade going on?!?! Depends on what everyone wants to do!

Hit the bed pretty early We need to be up and out EARLY



Saturday 11-14:
Check in and HOPE the room is ready. If so then we will get settled in, if not drop everything off and head over to:




Hollywood studios!

I'm caught up (again). I remember the days of the love/hate relationship with football. I loved going to the practices and games and the thrill of it all but when it was over, I'd breathe a big sign of relief. It was so nice not to be running around like crazy every day but about a week later, I'm missing it all.

It rained all day long on Halloween here. Not like it matters or anything since I never ever have trick-or-treaters come to our house. We are at the very end of a subdivision and I guess the kiddos are scared to come down. I have even lit up the driveway before and had a total of five, yep, five come a knockin'. I laughed at your description of the people running from Meg the midget. Like that little thang could do some serious harm.

You better get a crack-a-lackin' at packin' girl! You're going to Walt Disney World!
