How are December fast passes going?

I don't book our FP until 10/8. Our trip is 12/7 - 12/12 but we are going to AK on 12/8. Fingers crossed for a FoP fastpass. If not, I guess we'll have to rope drop.

Did fast passes this morning. No shocker, no times for FOP. But the shocker for me was 7DMT. No times in the morning. We always go in August and we can get anytime for any ride so it was surprising. I don't mind at all though.

I just feel bad for the folks who are only going once and can't get FOP. We rode it twice in August and we'll be back again this summer so I don't mind that we didn't get one up front. We were able to score ones while we were there this summer so I'm sure we'll get one for FOP if we keep checking while we are there in December.

Much like folks booking multiple ADRs for the same meal, I suspect there is increased use of leading reservations for an earlier fastpass window.

Booked my FP this morning - right around 7am. Our dates are 12/6 to 12/10. We were able to get FOP for 12/8 at 5pm. I guess that's day 62? There were some available in the morning (9am) for other dates later in our trip too.

We got everything else we wanted. Its just 2 of us. I was a little anxious, because a lot of the hotels were all booked.

I booked all the FPs using the app.

12/2 - Navi 7:00 (after River of Light)
12/3 - Mine Train 2:45
12/6 - FOP 9:20
12/7 - Mine Train 10:45
12/8 - Frozen 11:05

Nope - not as long as you've entered the window for the reservation you keep.

I booked this morning (60 days out) and had no problems at all. I booked the hardest to get FPs first and then went back and filled in the rest. I even went back and was able to move things around, even hard ones like FOP and FEA. I think I changed 7Dwarfs about 4 times. The site periodically was down throughout the day. I booked 2 the day of MVMCP. One from 4-5 and another 5-6..I read on another post (can't remember where) someone was able to book 3...not sure how that was possible. Don't want to risk getting the dreaded email cancelling my FP.

My window opened yesterday and I got everything I wanted. I could have booked FoP, but since some of my friends don’t fit, we decided that anyone who wanted to ride would just go at the end of the day, and we would use the FP for something else.

Yes. I did this too. I was flexible on park days -- didn't have to work around ADRs. Our challenge was this is a short trip with no park hopper. I did have a general idea of which rides we really wanted on FP.

Our trip days are Wednesday to Sunday for 2 people.

I knew we wanted FOP, so I looked for that first in the app for each day of our trip and booked it for Friday (I originally wanted Thurs - but no times available that I wanted). Then I looked for Test Track in Epcot on Saturday & Toy Story in DHS on Thursday. Then I filled in the other 2 (Tier 2) rides for each park and modified times where I could.

For MK, we're doing evening EMH & MVMCP party.

For me it seemed like the key was to get the FP you want as quick as possible & then modify/adjust times. (Don't wait, because it seemed like they "disappear" quickly as other folks are booking there's). Once I had them set, I modified times where I could. Others may be doing the same. Times seemed to open up to modify. It was a bit tedious to shift the times one by one, it worked out fine though.

I haven't been to Disney since 2014 - i'm a novice -- totally forgot how to do the FP reservations. I read through the FP sticky on this board beforehand and it was very helpful.

I can't comment on using the computer to reserve FP. I only used the app. Hope this helps someone.

Booked this morning. No FoP available but got Navi at 930 so we'll just rope drop FoP and then use the FP at Navi. Got everything else I wanted.
