NEWS 5/17: Late 2019 itineraries released - link in post #1 (2020 watch thread will start soon)

I know that is why I am so shocked at the current prices. Fingers crossed. She wants to spend at least a few days in England once we are there and with the airfare and all it's going to be expensive even with a low cruise fare.
If you haven't already try Norwegian for airline tickets. We love them and if you flexible they always have great prices on flights.

Yep!! We used Norwegian to come back from Copenhagen after the EBTA. Paid 200/one way per person for their upgraded Low Fare Plus which includes seat assignment, meal (SO MUCH nicer than American meals, just fyi) and free baggage.

Book on their norwegian.no site with a no foreign transaction fees credit card, it's cheaper by a lot. The US site uses the most expensive exchange rate not in favor of the USD.

Also, they have brand new Dreamliners and man, those helped so much with the flights. I didn't get off feeling blechy. They are lower pressure? or something, and it helped.

The Westbound TA prices for this year were actually $2,000 lower than we paid 10 years ago! Granted, it was three less nights, but still thought that was a great deal for a Disney cruise.

We are booked on that WBTA because it was an epic price! I am wanting to see what the WBPC and EBTA look like in 2019 ports wise and price wise though!

I wonder why they only do one per year. :confused3

We had two this year - the one I just debarked from (Oct 15th) and one on September 24th. I was surprised when I saw there was only one for next year... I thought about going again since it was a great cruise but the price is so much higher now!

Can't wait for summer 2019 to be released! We booked a placeholder and am anxiously waiting for the new dates!!!

Honestly, I'd expect an announcement on Thu or Fri of a week. I haven't seen them normally announce on a Tuesday.
All of the historical dates for Winter releases have been Tuesdays - unless the dates referenced in the first posts were the first days open for booking (with releases a few business days earlier).

They reference the first dates open for booking, not the announcement dates.

how many days between announcement and booking ?

In the past it has been as little as one day, but more recently they have announced towards the end of the week for release the following.

We also typically see chatter here from people who have heard from their TA that the announcement is imminent a day or so before the announcements, and I haven't seen any of that.

With them allowing Platinum to book on a dedicated day now, and then gold, silver and public, I was hoping they would announce on a Monday and then open bookings on a Tuesday for the week. Maybe they will be kind and announce on a Friday to give us time to ponder over the weekend :thumbsup2

Yes it would be nice to have opening prices and more than one day to decide.

This might be a silly question but does anyone who’s sailed the TA before have a preference of EB vs WB? Is the sailing smoother one way vs the other? Why is it your preference?

You might get more responses on this question if you ask it of the general forum.
