Hope all y'all are easing into the new year with out too many issues.

Had to be at work at o-dark-thirty this morning.
Dang cold, but worse, the van had a flat tire.
Borrowed the kid's vehicle as he's rarely up before noon while he's not at school
and I'll deal with the flat later on.

It was so cold my low tire pressure light came on in the car. I still can't convince DW to move to Florida.

We've been seeing a bit of that round here as well.
Unusually cold for our area
If it stays like this form another couple weeks unbroken, I could probably convince my DW to do the move.
Problem is, that without a guaranteed job down that way, I can't consider moving anyway.

Best of luck to DS and you are correct, good and bad but we found that the good out weighed the bad - good luck to mom and dad too.

He's actually a pretty good driver but I'm guessing it's my car that will get taken the most. Would have been good this holiday though; would have saved me a few trips into town to pick him up/drop him off or both at his new girlfriends. It has been cutting into the holiday drinking time.

Good morning Gentlemen. My first day back at work after 10 wonderful days off for the holidays. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I took a bit of a digital diet while I was off, tried to avoid work emails and the computer/phone as much as I could. I'll attempt to read over the 10 pages of chatter I missed, but in the meantime, I hope you are all doing well in the new year.

Morning guys. She will be dropping the mutt off at the boarders and then we hit Publix for supplies. After that taking down the tree and getting the house ready before we go. We leave tomorrow morning. Most days there the lows in Orlando will be in the 30's which I am not looking forward to. Not weather in BC but for this old dog, it is cold. Not going to enjoy waiting for the marathon to start Sunday morning.

Still in the deep freeze but still not going back to work. We found out yesterday that DS will be taking his road test next week for his driver's license. I think there is some good and bad in that.

Good luck to DS, prepare for your insurance rates to go up. It is nice to have a kid to run errands though.

Our flight times have changed so had to pull the reservation for the Disney leg back a day. The whole stay was showing only as partial, so booked the Monday that I needed and then got them to merge the reservations and cancel off the last day, so it showed as one. All done.

Ha Ha. Disney does have pretty good hold music but 25 minutes is a bit much.
