Did a quick trip to Pop last week to drop my niece off for the DCP.

I was disappointed that we only had a shower. It isn't ideal for me. I enjoy a hot bath in the am because I wake up so much earlier than everyone else.

Does anyone know how many/few rooms will have the shower/tub combo once refurb is done?

Starting today, there is a handling fee charged to the credit card assigned to your room for GROCERY DELIVERY. This includes Garden Grocer, Prime Now, InstaCart, etc. $5 flat fee.

If you accept them, you should be good but if the resort accepts your delivery, there will be a fee.

This is true for all WDW resorts.

Noon doesn't really give that much extra time if regular checkout is 11:00. DME won't likely be picking us up until 2:45ish so my hope was to head to the parks for the morning, come back around 1:30 to clear out of the room and check out to be ready for DME. Most of our hotels here where I live have a noon checkout already and then they add a couple of hours for late checkout if the room is available but that may not be an option at Disney I guess. I'll ask when I check in and see what they offer. Checking out on our way out in the morning isn't the end of the world I just thought I'd see what other guest's experiences were with late checkout. Thanks for your input!

Are you flying international? DME picks up 3ish hours prior to your flight if you're flying domestic, so 3:30-3:45 for your 6:50 flight.

We're international so no RAC for us. They have to store our luggage and then I have to go back and pick it up before getting in line for DME.

Yes. I shipped a tripod via Prime Now (realized mine was missing a part as I packed Fri night) and the desk had it - they put $5 on my account.

Interesting. I received an Amazon Prime Now delivery at Pop at 9am on 1/26 -, case of water and four bags. Was never told anything about a fee. Just looked at my guest folio and there is an outstanding charge for $5 for package handling.

I am at the airport and did not leave a card on file. I'll let you know if it shows up on my CC statement.

International is usually 4 hours I wish we had that extra hour!!

The weather is beautiful right now, sunny and perfect temp. A lot of rain predicted for this aft and evening though.

The drawing class is free and offered 3x a day at Art of Animation. 11:00, 2:00 and 5:00. A small room to the side of checkin desks. Just show up and learn to draw a character. Yesterday was classic Mickey at our class. Takes 20-30 MB’s. Children and adults welcome. We really enjoy them and often do it on arrival day. Have been known to take DME from the airport and get off at AoA to do the class then walk across to Pop to check in.

Called looking for the sun & fun discount for my dates (April 29th-May6th) They couldnt do it. But they did give the heads up about cheerleading tour groups that week.


So at least I will have an opinion about that either way after my trip .

First time on the phone with customer service and they were fantastic despite not being able to help me.

Fun in Sun doesn't include May 5th weekend... Friday was as far as the reservation could go, so I did 6 nights April 28th-May4th

I also saw something about about cheerleading competitions. Looks to be to different ones that week. They did not confirm what resort - they just said 'stays at a value resort' - so I'm hoping that is primarily the all stars.

Hi y’all . I asked this in transportation board but no one replied. Is there still a direct bus from Pop to the water parks or has that been changed? I think I read somewhere that to get to Blizzard Beach you have to get that bus from Animal Kingdom??

For Blizzard Beach,the transfer is at Epcot.

For Typhoon Lagoon the transfer is at Disney Springs.

Here now and opted out of mousekeeping. Very glad I did! Called tonight to request coffee, cups, a couple of towels and face cloths. Within 15 minutes a cast member showed up with more than a dozen cups, 15 coffee, all the fixings, towels and the rest! Great service!

I have been leaving used towels and garbage outside the door every other day and it’s picked up.

Haven’t experienced security checks but we’re at the parks open to close. I did see Security arrive in the 80’s section around 8:30 this morning as we were leaving so guessing that may have been them.

There are a lot of the 15yo girl Big Tour Groups but they have been nothing but kind and respectful. They are in our section but not near us. Not a problem at all. I would not hesitate to stay in this area or visit during this time again.

Parks busier than I’m used to but not crazy. Finding it worth while to do rope drop or as close to it as we can.

I would do the same. Curious if you asked what's the official procedure for this? What do they expect guests to do?

Did you go directly to your room without checking in at the desk? How did you opt-out of housekeeping?

There's been reports of some guests getting a phone call before arriving asking if they want to opt out. If you don't get a call, stop by the front desk on your first day and ask. This does have to be done on the first day.
