How many of you guys made room requests? Can anyone tell me the best and worst buildings at French quarter?

It depends a little what your preferences is. POFQ is such a compact resort that it's not far to walk anywhere. I've been in building 7 before, the one furthest away from the food court & lobby, and it's only a few minutes walk. Agree about party crowds! I was shocked at how low the wait times for the rides were! We were able to ride rides and trick or treat all the locations, multiple times! Kids made it to midnight! Watched both parades and fireworks. Everyone loved our costumes. Met Moana with only a 20 minute wait! Came back with about a 40 pound bag of candy. We said we wouldn’t do the party again with our kids being so young but at the end of the night, it was a unanimous decision to go again next year! WooHoo!

This is good to hear. Hoping it's still that way later this month. 18 days!

I've been in 4 and 5. Both were very close to everything.

I really enjoy the compact feel of French Quarter.

Many years ago, my parents went out on a Saturday night. It was my mother's first airplane ride. Big vacation for them - Las Vegas. My mother had style and spent hours getting her clothes ready and then went out.
She forgot to pack any shirts for my father. LOL

We are 11 days out & today is my last hair appt before Disney! How’s that for an unusual countdown! Soooo excited!!!

I leave tomorrow and have a hair appt today at 4!! Excited to be freshly highlighted, cut and styled for the trip! Then I have an appt for a blowout at Yacht Club on Friday.

This time tomorrow (Lord Willing!) I will be on my way to Animal Kingdom!!

All buildings at French Quarter are good. It will depend on which room type you booked, but we stayed in building 4 and it was super close to the main building and the bus stop!

Very low crowds again today! At least here at HS. 5 minute wait at ToT so did that twice in a row. At the Frozen show now. Checking out Toy Story Land in a couple of hours. Toasty when the sun comes out but there are also plenty of clouds!

Cannot believe we arrive THIS Saturday!! This trip doesn't have me as excited as I normally am due to the whole home buying process and stress, but I just hope once we arrive and are "home" I can breath a little easier and enjoy myself. Spending the money right now is prob not smart but mentally I need the break big time.

It depends on your spending habits. We don't usually spend more than $200-300 on souvenirs/extra stuff, even when the kids are with us. (That doesn't count Table Service tips.) Even when we buy "whatever we want", we just don't spend that much. For our adults only trip in a few days, I'm planning to buy Starbucks mugs for the rest of our parks collection, and something for the kids. I won't deprive myself, but I doubt there will be much more I'll "need" to come home with.
