This is a great question! I was wondering the same thing (my partner & I will be going on this tour in April)Does anyone who's done this know if tour guides are allowed to accept tips? I normally tip on tours, but wasn't sure for WDW

Can’t see any reason why not.Does anyone know if you have some that needs a scooter can take the tour?
I would call and ask - there were stairs that we took in Sept when I wentDoes anyone know if you have some that needs a scooter can take the tour?
We also have an 8:30 Keys to the Kingdom tour booked for a party day that same week ! Our first FP is 1:15 - 2:15 for Peter Pan. We have never been on this tour. Really looking forward to it. We are 2 adults, no teens.I love the Dis...I knew I could come here to get great responses! I moved around our days. Really just switched one of AK days with a MK day that the tour was available. I had FOP for both AK days and it pained me to let it go. I'll keep checking and maybe I can get it for the second day.
I set our Fastpasses to start at 1:30 on the day we do the tour. We're focusing on Adventureland and Fronteirland that day. I did use my Disney Visa and was able to save a bit as well! My daughter is 18 and my son is 22. My daughter is the one who's been the most excited to take this tour over the years and couldn't wait until she was old enough. Our son is along for the ride but enjoys the history behind things so I think we'll all be happy. We're not doing the Christmas Party because I just couldn't justify the cost versus our group's interest so this our special splurge.
My DH and I both used scooters, plus there were two more scooters. Not a problem. In fact the guide had the scooter people at the front of the group to part the traffic.Does anyone know if you have some that needs a scooter can take the tour?
Did your Guide decline your first two offers of the tip and then accept on your third offer? Disney, for some reason, has this “tip acceptance” rule in place. The guides took tips when I took the tour in 2/2018
Thanks! Good info to have. No, they accepted on the first time.
They can. We had 2 on our tour.Does anyone know if you have some that needs a scooter can take the tour?
But, if the offers continued, the Guide would have accepted with Offer#3. Sad that they have to see an offered tip disappear, but, it’s Disney’s ‘tip rule.’We did it in 2017 and our guide declined the tip - she was lovely about it but declined from several people. The guides on Savor the Savanna declined, too.
