I've thought about that aspect too. Will there be an infinite magazine, a rapid fire mode, a cool down stage, a shot/hit performance rating?
Judging from the pics I've seen I'm not sure which seat actually gets to shoot. I actually expected the turret gun at first and it sounds like that's not happening. I mean... look at the pic in this post. Does it look like ANYONE is operating a gun?

Really getting the sense that the interaction here is just a bit of "push this button when told to" and that's about it.

Any updated rumors on an opening date for WDW?
Nothing official, it is still a bit to far off to pinpoint a date. Looking like early November, but that could change. Still have 1 hurricane season to get through, and still a lot of work to be done.

My thoughts are similar to Mission:Space?

A bit OT, but did FoP this last Sunday. Not anything new, just the latest experience for us.

AK closed at 8PM, we got in line at 7PM 210 minute posted, in the preview room in 75 minutes.

For measure, the line started at the outside bridge, and all inside que lines were in use. So as FP+ lines diminish end of night, I think it speeds up even more.

Not that 75 is short, its really pushing our limits-but that is one attraction we try to knock out a couple times each trip. Grab a drink and gab.

Hoping Star Wars is as well.

We did FOP on a rope drop back in Dec. I was surprised how many people were waiting outside the park to get in at 8:30 in the morning....However, we got in and went straight to FOP and there was literally no wait. The only "waiting" was walking through the line and standby areas. We were on the ride in about 10 mins from rope dropping.

Oh sure, 2+ hours seems reasonable, but 8? I just don't see it happening. That's pretty extreme. Sure there will be some spikes, but also some lulls. An 8 hour average for a year seems pretty out there though.

Right. I cannot imagine fans are that "die-hard" that they will pay $120 for a -day ticket to ride only 1 ride.

"Other drinks, like the Fuzzy Tauntaun and the Carbon Freeze"

ugh, not a fan of that ... really going to have a drink the references Han getting frozen? Why would that be such a thing in the outter rim?

I agree. It seems to go against the whole 'total immersion' spiel we have been hearing with names like that being pretty meta
