SO looking forward to meeting you and the other lovely ladies on our trip!!! The countdown is really getting tiny now!!

Jackie, I am seriously so excited to meet you and spend some time with you at the SW dessert party and all our other activities! I can’t believe how close we are now! I want some nice hot weather since it is winter today here, yuck. We are having a snowstorm right now!

Today was 3/26/19, Day 2 of our Spring Break Trip.

I had a goal to get in DHS to do two things, can anyone guess what the two are?
We were up early and out the door by 8am, we walked to the main lobby area and called a Lyft. Here is a picture of the El Centro.

One if the CM’s told us this lobby area will be closed when the new resort opens. All check in will take place at Destino. El Centro will be part of the convention area with seating for convention guests. I’m sure all the restaurants will stay in there. They have all been recently updated.

Our Lyft was quick to arrive and we were at DHS in no time at all. At least with ride share the drop off is closer than the bus drop off.

We were in line and ready to head to TSL at 8:30am. We started the dreaded cattle herding around 8:45. My first thing to do was get a ride on Toy Story Mania! We wouldn’t be back at DH until Friday pm and I knew TSM would have a long wait at that time!


We walked on all the way to the glasses and then had a short wait. I love this ride, as many times as I have been on it, you would think I am an expert. Well think again! I never get past 140,000. Andi was best in vehicle and hour, most likely because we were in the first hour!

I used @Cloe Colton trick of not wearing out my arm on the practice round and I still did about the same but I do believe my arm was less sore!

Andi wanted a few popsicle wall pictures and I had her pose in front of the checkerboard wall, in hopes of starting a new craze!What do all think is it instagram worthy? Andi would say no, she forgot her hair straightener and she was not liking her wild hair.

We saw a photo pass CM at the end of the line and had a few pictures done here and we got a new to us magic shot


We both wanted to have a raspberry pop tart from Woody’s Lunchbox. The line was short and there was actually tables available. We sat and enjoyed our tarts, I forgot to get a picture, oops! It was nice to relax and watch all the hustle and bustle going on around us.

My second must do was out of TSL, we headed out and noticed SDD was down and the line was all the way to One Man’s Dream It looked like all the people were waiting to go into One Man’s Dream, thank goodness they were not! I wanted to meet Mike and Sully. They start meeting at 10am and it was about 9:40am. We went back to wait in line and we were first!

The CM for the meet was so nice she was very talkative and told us many things about Mike and Sully, did you know Mike wears a contact We had our meet with the best scare team at Monsters Inc. It was fun but Sully was just rather blah, Mike was very interactive. A few years ago we met the best Sully, he wanted to hug us and was so sweet. I was hoping for the same except it wasn’t this time around. I was glad we saw the two and got some nice pictures.


They had a preview of Dumbo in the theater, we didn’t go but got a picture.

We decided to sit by the theater, RIP Great Movie Ride and look at some ADR’s for this evening. QS was so crowded I was done dealing with that. I had the picky vegetarian look at menus. We had decided on Raglan Road in DS and then Andi changes her mind and wants to go to T-Rex, a carnivore’s dream. Oh well, we can use the Landry card and not make a reservation. I really wanted RR.

It was time to head out of DHS and go over to AK. I changed my shirt in the bathroom like anyone would right? I had to have an AK shirt on now. We took a Lyft to AK. This was another great decision. All our Lyft rides this trip were so smooth and easy and very cheap!

Sounds like a good morning at DHS. We were going to meet Mike and Sulley but the line looked really long.

I have always relied so much on Disney transportation but this past trip made me realize how inconvenient it is. We will be taking advantage of our car a lot more next trip!

We went in Tomorrow Land with the intention of getting on a favorite of ours, PM, and this had a ridiculously long line. The line wrapped around several times.

This reminds me of our spring break trip last year, when a CM was holding a "line starts here" sign for the carousel about 2000 feet from the carousel

I was wanting the wonderful pulled pork nachos at the Poly and I knew they had vegetarian choices for Andi.

Ah yes, the nachos dreams are made of Really hoping I can grab them next month but not sure I can fit them in anywhere!

he comes up to Andi and starts spitting on her, yes actual gobs of spit. She started to freak out a little (all inside).

If this happened to me or Steve or the boys I would have been yelling at this kid the minute it happened! I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut anymore................regardless of the consequences lol. But in this case it's not even like the kid was smacking you or something, it was unsanitary! Disgusting! Poor Andi, she did handle it well.

In exactly 3 weeks from today, I will be at WDW for the Epic Dis girls trip! This is so exciting!

Whoo! 3 weeks from yesterday for me! I am beyond excited!

Dinner will be at Ohana with a big group of Dis friends! I may watch HEA on the Poly Beach with a drink or see what everyone else is doing.

A bunch of us will be at Geyser Point so feel free to come join us

We both wanted to have a raspberry pop tart from Woody’s Lunchbox.

Don’t blame you for wanting sit down when it’s so crowded out! We typically only do TS for lunch/dinner because we find it more relaxing and away from the crowds even if it takes more time and money.

We took the monorail to the Poly, big mistake! It was so crowded with rude pushy people. We get on way in the back and at the TCC a mom, dad, and kid get on. We should have just got off here and walked, we didn’t another big mistake! The kid was around 4 and the parents totally ignored him, he comes up to Andi and starts spitting on her, yes actual gobs of spit. She started to freak out a little (all inside). It was so crowded we couldn’t really move, I told him not to do that and finally the dad said something, it was a little late. We got off and Andi said she was having a panic attack from this, yikes. I calmed her down and she went in the bathroom to get cleaned up. All I can say is how rude and what is wrong with people!!

Oh my gosh, I'm soo sorry that happened to Andi. I can't believe society these days. I'm glad you said something to the kid.

We did have a nice morning!

Ugh! It was definitely a busy week! People can be so crazy during the crowded times yuck!

I couldn’t stop eating these, I kept saying okay I’m done to find myself taking another bite!

The Raspberry pop tart is really yummy, the crust is so flaky and the raspberry filling is perfect. I recommend!

He seemed scared in his big monstrous body, not quite sure of his movements!
I didn’t plan much this trip for meals and QS is usually not our thing either, we do a few favorites then mostly sit down.

So excited!!!! We don't get it till 2am tomorrow morning....so Kyle is getting up at 5 instead of 6 to watch it before he goes to work and avoids spoilers.....so I said I`d get up with him.....crazy!!!

There are some episodes I just can`t rewatch…….The Red Wedding for one.....and the one where Melisandre convinced Stannis Baratheon to do what he did to his daughter (in case anyone hasn't seen it yet)

Love Tyrrion though.....Kyle said he would become my favourite character despite my phobia......and he was right!!! yes, there have been loads of shows on tv talking about it and showing clips of favourite parts......so, yes, like you....so excited!!!!
