DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

My 6yo is a soccer monster. She scored 4 of 8 goals for her team in her U8 "game" tonight. There's no goalies (sweeper-keeper) and she's not the most skilled player on the team, but she makes up for it with heart and tenacity. No quit. Man, I love watching her play.

Good for her. I watch soccer more than football now. I was disappointed when my youngest stopped playing, but she didn't have the speed and didn't like being relegated to defense.

Got a shipment of Mickey Ice Cream Bars the other day :mickeybar, I'm sure some of you might have seen them in stores by now, according to the invoice it's a Limited Time item.

I still like the Mickey Ice Cream sandwiches better than the bars.

Evening guys from a humid Beijing. Shanghai knocked out. I only had 3 hours for Disney, but as it was on the company, not too shabby. Pirates was amazing. As was Tron, we did it at night when it was all lit up and it was beautiful. It's kind of Space mountain level of thrill.
Darcy, sorry buddy about your motor, but I like Beverley. Hope it gets sorted soon.
Jeff thanks for the vibes mate and if you could send me a list of the massage parlours to avoid with some kind of star rating on happy finishes, that would be much appreciated. Calling it duties was for this Friday so don't beat yourself up.
Rwalker welcome, always happy to see another footy fan in the family. Just don't expect any encouragement from Captain Oblivious.
Uncle scrooge I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope you win in the final. Man, I need a shower.
Norm, totally with ya mate on the ice cream sandwich.

Have a great week fellas.

I agree with you on that one.

Sounds like fun to me! Can't wait till it opens in Florida.

Hey, I gotta call it as I see it. Soccer is boring. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be watching the PGA Championship all weekend.

Thanks on the update. I'll never make it there, but it sounds cool. I'll buy you a Mickey Sandwich the next trip meetup and you can cover the lapu lapu. :lmao:

At this point I can’t get the sandwiches at my local grocer.

I haven't found them here, but really haven't been looking.

I agree with you on that one.
.

Another agree on ice cream sandwiches? Oh yeah.

Evening gents. Work is a train wreck right now so been going 100 mph / 160.934 kph. Seems like everything is normal around here except for the international guy being in China. Cheers boys!
And to finish off the Monday, seized engine!! Beverley!!

Need to get all our paperwork together so it can be submitted to Hyundai. So how long should this take I ask? About a month she says!

Beverley!!
Sorry about the vehicle challenges, hope it works out ok.

Love me the Pirates. How was it different there?
You go through 2 screen scenes in the middle of the ride which are a bit like a floating soarin, which makes you feel like you are underwater, and then you sort of surface into the battle scene. They are more tied to the films so the kraken, Davy Jones etc are in there rather than the town scene. No redhead unfortunately. A backwards drop at the end, a really good jack sparrow animatronic as well. It’s a really well done ride. The queue stuff is pretty cool as well, more similar to Paris than Orlando.

Sadly I have not seen any reports of them being available in Canada. I don't expect we will see them here.

I must admit to preferring the ice cream bars over the sandwiches.

Are you looking for the 158 quickie or the 238 special?

Calling it duties was for this Friday so don't beat yourself up.
Ah, OK, I will try to live up to your standard.

Hey, I gotta call it as I see it. Soccer is boring. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be watching the PGA Championship all weekend.
So you'll be napping on the couch all weekend?

Captain Marvel = Chick

Always thought he looked a bit...

Thor = big weapon

I've never looked. If you say so.

Cheap airlines = extra charges

Hmm... interesting hypothesis.

Darcy = walking

Where?

Jeff = massage parlour guru

Always nice to hear about a happy ending.

Mark = boring sports

golf

That’s pretty much it mate. How was the trip?

Good!

Just watched a ride through, very different but looks very cool. Weird listening to pirates speaking Mandarin though.

Engine in DW Tuscon sent the way of the dodo bird.

Top O the Mornin Dads and happy Friday Eve! Work continues to be beverly upped with the additional tariff situation. Sorry folks but everybody is going to be increasing prices and companies can only absorb so much so get ready for those Disney toys, t-shirts, hats, etc to climb.
