Thanks. The boards went down before I saw these, and I remembered we are staying club level, so I called DSS. They knew what I was talking about and after putting me on hold told me that someone from merchandise should be contacting me about replacing the band that was sent plain with the correct upgraded band, it just would't be personalized. However, he said he couldn't tell me when they would contact me, and since we are leaving June 12th there isn't a lot of leeway, given they have to ship. So I'm not holding my breath, but we'll see.
What a terrible way of handling all of this. They should have contacted me and asked what I wanted to do. I would have had my son choose another band, and if that hadn't worked might have just had us all stick with the free ones. I would never have left it with 3 of us upgrading and one of the KIDS getting a plain one. It just irks me that the band we didn't get is available to buy on
shopdisney. I mean, I get that they are different departments, earmarked differently, yada yada yada, but still, it looks bad and annoys me to know they have the band I paid for, but didn't ship it to me and gave me a plain one instead.
