Checked into Sheraton Sand Key. DH was here last year with same conference. I’m not sure if he pays Government rate or Conference rate here, either way he usually gets a somewhat crappy room. He says he gets handicapped rooms a lot. Last year was Ground floor, no view. This year we got upgraded to 6th floor with balcony and Club access. Now if the storms will go away...

We are indeed! So I am hoping for a nice upgrade to an oceanfront balcony when we are arrive on Thurs. I had thought about using my suite nights but decided to take my chances on a free upgrade. How is the club/lounge? Free beer and wine in the afternoon? I am hoping it’s nice like the one in Anaheim.

There are a lot of people who dislike how the TPG operates, and he gets the 'click' or reward for your card app. Hence the reaction, but also no one on here wishes you anything but the best because as you spend more time you will learn where the value comes from.

Doctor of Credit is highly valued. Some of the bloggers will tell you anything to get their click. Most of us want the responsible ones to succeed. For instance if a card is 'lesser' and there is a better product, that's the way that's best to be directed, rather than having a blogger who is paid to advertise the lesser product try to push you into that app.

Breakfast 7-10 am. Hors d’oeuvres 5-7 with beer, wine and mixed drinks. We just left. Had my 3rd free Yuenglung of the day. Lol. May have had 2 before my noon flight. Cheese/crackers, fruit, hummus/pita and mini quiches. Very small. Do you have any suggestions @Judique? We are not seafood people.

Congratulations!! Hope it goes through for you! And yikes, we have 2 daughters, I am dreading wedding prices... we are DVC members and it’s been great for us, we love it!

The only one I'm going to try is Columbia restaurant when I go back. You go across the street in front of the hotel and it's on the Bay side going south - directions given to me at the hotel. I googled and it's right next to the Marriott Suites. There are a few of these. One is in Celebration. I think the first was in Ybor City. I've had the food but have not dined in the restaurant. I had it as part of a festival in Celebration.

Other than that we've done simple dining. A pizza place, Village Inn for breakfast. When I was upgraded to club level, they had nice sandwiches on club rolls for the 5-7 and I fill up pretty fast, so it was enough for me, with some fruit and a sweet. Breakfast is usually pretty much continental.

Congratulations! That is so exciting!!

I was looking at recent DVC direct prices from all the discussion and it makes me very sad that I did not purchase a tiny resale contract prior to April 2016.

I saw a tempting loaded resale contract yesterday with my desired UY. Hoping someone else snatches it up so I can't be tempted by it 😂
