Too funny ours just came Sunday. My DH hemmed and hawed and researched. Ended up with the Dolphin Nautilus Plus. On amazon for $750 - so far so good!!!
Whoa that's expensive lol. Our actual pool guy came today and I asked him. He said maybe the water pump is running too low and not getting enough water to it. As I look outside now I see the cleaner has moved and is across the pool so who knows lol

Just worked for me. Double check there's no typos in the info entered. The "We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time." comes up if they don't get a match on that. Can also try from the mobile app, in there you RAF from the card itself so you don't have to enter info.
Thanks for the tip—I figured it out. He had II (second) behind his last name on the card, and I forgot to include it!

I may have done a thing and booked Wilderness Lodge for Thursday-Saturday this weekend so it's happening! It probably wasn't the best deal, but I looked earlier today and there were no rooms for Wilderness Lodge so I just jumped on it. I'm excited because we've never stayed there before. It's a courtyard view. Now I'm off to buy DAH tickets!

AA gc works for the Citi statement credit, correct? Can I do $250 or do I need to break it? I've been trying to find DPs, but I'm not searching successfully I suppose.
Here is some info SouthFayetteFan gave to me.

"So the $250 statement credit is for an AA purchase. I always buy a $250 AA eGC from the American website. You could use it to pay for a flight. You could maybe use it to pay for a hotel alongside your AA miles (I don’t know if we have any DPs on this yet). What I do is sell them on raise.com and net $200+ In cash."

Upgraded one of my three freedoms to a CSR. Because it’s an older card DH is an AU and will benefi from a few perks until they catch on and charge us. I’ll keep people posted. Card anniversary is January. I rebooked 2 of my 3 upcoming trips. USO in October club level HRH remained the same price. Cancun in Nov for 4 nights (kid free!) actually dropped! We are trying out the Hyatt Ziva. So now I’ll have the extra insurance protection.

Also @Lain or any other people active on Reddit. Are there any DPs of people upgrading (say green to plat) and getting the pop up to go away? DH has the offer on his card and I was wondering if it would help

They are all expensive. I think lower models start around $400-$500 and can go up to $2k. If it acts up I’d look into maybe getting it serviced first at a pool store

I've been happy with PrivateInternetAccess (dot) com for about 2-3 years now. It's the only one I've used, so I can't speak to the competition. The only issue I've ever run into was lack of support on my Raspberry Pi, but that was a couple of years back and may be resolved now. I use it on Windows, Mac, and iOS without problems (and it does support other linux distros, if that's a concern--at the time it just didn't support raspbian)
Thank you, I will look into this one as well. I was primarily planning on using it with iOS and my Mac!

I went to check-in for my JetBlue flight booked through URs and got boarding group E. For those that do not fly JetBlue, that is dead last. I've never been E and I have booked this same row before. Not sure if it was because I booked externally on URs, but something to look at in the future.

It also forced my hand to select JetBlue as my Amex Plat airline. I can get bags for free under URs and figured I wanted to get the seat upgrade. It cost $36. Oh well, it will be covered under my $200. I would rather not have to gate check my carry-on. LOL Coming home is a different story. I'll take what I can get.

Don't forget about hong kong, it's about the same as shanghai which is why we'll do all 3. Been figuring out how many points I need.

Oh hkdl hotels are on expedia but I haven't looked at UR portal yet. Shanghai's weren't but I only did one set of dates.

Maybe I'll just go around the world to all the parks next year :rotfl:

Yesssss, I love Wilderness Lodge!! That's where we always stayed when I was a kid.

Got an email about early booking discounts for ABD for 2020. Can't believe I'm actually looking at them, but suddenly I'm filled with visions of Angkor Wat.

I've never done ABD before. Is the best way to go about it to book through Costco for the Costco Cash Card, and 2% Executive Membership cash back? Then accumulate Disney Gift Cards at a discount as much as possible? I have a brand new Arrival+ burning a hole in my wallet...

Just following up on this. This is the DP I saw on r/churning a few days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/b9bb9z/data_points_central_thread_week_of_april_04_2019/ek5n9hj/ There are a few other scattered reports of Metabank MCGCs coding for only a 1% fee on Plastiq recently.

The above DP reports their MCGC came from OD and was issued by MetaBank in black packaging with 5113 320X starting numbers.

I picked up $50 and $100 fixed denomination Metabank MCGCs from Safeway in the shiny silver ($50s) and gold ($100) packaging during the recent $10/$15 off deal, all with 5113 320X numbers, and they also triggered only a 1% fee when I liquidated them towards student loans on Plastiq.

@wintotty - yes, you can use MCGCs to pay for your car loan through Plastiq.

Amex cards are not accepted as payment for car loans (and many other things) on Plastiq, and VGCs generally don’t work on Plastiq even though Visa credit cards do work for most things (except mortgages being the big exception).

However, to get your MCGCs to work on Plastiq, you’ll have to register them with your name and personal information, and you may need to add them to Masterpass first, then add them to your Plastiq wallet by selecting the MCGC from Masterpass.

Generally, Plastiq will process the MCGCs like Mastercard credit cards and charge a 2.5% fee, so you need to account for that fee (e.g., $48.78 + 2.5% = $50; $97.56 + 2.5% = $100; $487.80 x 2.5% = $500), unless you have FFDs or your MCGC triggers only a 1% fee (then, $49.50 + 1% = $50; $99.01 + 1% = $100; $198.02 + 1% = $200).

You should also be aware about how your car loan will apply multiple partial payments towards your statement balance, principle and interest.

Also know that MCGCs and other prepaid cards carry activation fees that can range from $3.95 to $8.95, so you could be paying 1-3% fees on the prepaid card before Plastiq charges its 1% or 2.5% fee. Look for deals when grocery stores or office supply stores offer no fees or some $X off on the prepaid cards.

However, since you’re working on an MSR for an Amex card, do not buy VGCs/MCGCs or any gift cards from office supply stores like Office Depot/Max or Staples because they share Level 3 data with Amex, so Amex will know exactly what you purchased at these office supply stores, and Amex RATs have been known to not count your spend on prepaid and gift cards towards your MSR. Gift card purchases at grocery stores and home improvement stores are generally ok.
Unfortunately it's not a promotion, it's MC GCs that come up as debit cards and trigger the 1% debit card fee on Plastiq. Here's Lain's compilation of DP's and discussion when it started a couple months ago. Having just checked my MCGC it does indeed start with 5113 3200, wish there was a way to tell for sure in the package.

Updating this DP.

I checked my recently liquidated MCGCs via Plastiq at 1% fee and their first 8 numbers include 5113 3200, 5113 3201, 5113 3202, 5113 3203, 5113 3204. The commonality is they were all issued by MetaBank and purchased at a supermarket. You can check the small print on the back of the packaging to see whether the MCGC was issued by MetaBank.

I'm pretty darn excited! We have a dinner ADR at Whispering Canyon Thursday before DAH and a Wave ADR Friday night. We've never been to either of those. We'll have DAH Thursday night, I was able to get a RnRC FP for Friday at 11 am, then on Saturday we're planning on doing the H2O Glow event but I haven't bought tickets yet

Don't you get assigned seats for JetBlue? I did when I last flew with them in March. Or is it different using URs to book?

Alila hotels are live on World of Hyatt. I transferred URs and booked the Ventana Inn in Big Sur! It's insane value. The local's rate is $1200/night not including tax. Used 30k Hyatt points/night, so I'm getting about 4.4 cpp.

:scared1:

VENTANA INN?!?!

You just one-upped my upcoming Hyatt Carmel Highlands stay!

For reference, the Hyatt Carmel Highlands is also a 30k Hyatt points/night redemption and cash rates are about $824/night during our stay.

Now I'm trying to figure out occasions when I can slot in the Ventana Inn!

Last year I got a 3 yr plan to NordVPN, and went through topcashback (NordVPN is now at 60% cash back) and it cost ~$57 after cash back. I've seen it reviewed favorably by CNET.
@PolyRob This is the one I was going to suggest...seems to have good reviews and a couple of the vloggers I watch use it. I see people talking about it and don't know enough to know what it does and if I really need it.

So you think there will be a mad rush when the 2nd ride opens? Interesting theory, though seems more likely to me than mad rush for half of a new land. I expect AP holders to want to go when the are able to do so, because they are Disney fans, like myself, who are curious about everything Disney, and I'm sure some are SW people as well. I'm not curious about SW in the least, but I know it would be a fun experience for DS11 to go to a preview. I'm helping a friend plan their first WDW in Feb 2020 and she didn't even add the SW rides on her list of things she wants to see/ride. She represents the general public to me, though obviously a small sample size. I find it all very interesting to watch, but my comment was mostly in jest. Anyone know how the lines have been at the new Harry Potter ride after the initial opening. I'm super curious to compare that with SWGE as far as crowds.
I can let you know tomorrow about HP after we complete the wait. We are so excited to try it out! I think my brother said it’s getting more manageable at 2-3 hours but they aren’t opening it until noon and they close the line around 8 pm to try and get everyone through before the park closes.
