I tried, and failed......but my DD got in for her and my Grandboy's so I am super happy for them and everyone else who got in!!! Cannot wait to see and read all about it from everyone

Can't speak to DHS specifically but at DLR, we had wristbands color coded with times/dates written on it. We initially took our confirmation to Launch Bay, got wristbands, waited in queue 1, then escorted to the land while holding our bands up in the air. The general idea is that bands are check during your reservation time (ours was 8-12) and after your time is done, you are no longer allowed to be in the land. Theoretically, you'd be turned away from the ride, dining, stores, etc but some people said that stores would let you linger a bit longer (ahem, $$$). But really the big thing is the overlap time for the ride since most people rushed to the ride so that last hour of our time was not worth it to wait for MFSR.
I must say I am jealous of your ability to reserve Oga's and Savis. DLR did not have that option and we basically had to run, I mean walk calmly and in an orderly fashion, for either option.
I agree about the overlap times, which is why I did the 9am on the 21st. I figured 2 hours with MFSR before the 11am crowd comes "slowly" walking in.

Well, that was quite the ride, wasn’t it? A few weeks of minor torture and two days of nail-biting, edge of your seat thriller. I must admit that today was a whirlwind. I was on a workmcall from 9-10 when I saw the link so imws clicking it without really being able to read through what was being said. So, I was really sad when all three devices were hung up in that waiting pattern. Like really sad. Like pathetically sad. I almost gave up. Then I saw a snippet here and there of people saying it wasn’t live yet and I wasn’t really sure what was going on. At 10am when my pages loaded and I saw that registration calendar pop up, my swing to joy was really amazing. I actually cried.

Thank you all for helping, hanging in and bearing with any annoying questions I had. Emotions got mixed in there and tensions were high especially yesterday so hoping we’re all still “friends”.

Hoping to toast a few of you from Oga’s on Sunday night 8/18!

I thought about this as well. I think that 9am slot will be the best for as empty a land as possible. I picked 5-9 pm in the hopes of glimpsing it at night and creating a more reasonable drinking time at Oga’s but in hindsight, I should have done 9am. Now ill get overlap and also have to fight crowds out of the park. Oh, well.

Add me to the list of those extending my thanks and appreciation for keeping us up to date on the preview release!

If anyone wants to meet up for a drink at Oga’s on the 17th (between, 11 and 3), let me know!

Thank you all, too!
My mother got us in, I think for the 21st but there hasn't been a confirmation email. Just an order # that we screenshotted. We have bad wifi because we're in the parks today, so it's entirely possible something went wrong.

How would I know if we really have the reservation?

I haven't had time to read the thread today so apologies if this has already been answered.

There should be something that says order number on the top right hand side. I guess that’s all we need. Edit- I see you said you had the order number. You should be all set!

Got in for the 21st. Cantina and smugglers run. Was able to change my res at Sports and actually got a $3 credit on Southwest with the flight change. Lost my fast passes for my original 27-30 but def worth it.

there's a meetup thread that you can join and see who else is going during your time slot

I called the Passholder line earlier today - CM said their servers are backlogged and they will have all the confirmation emails out within 24-48 hours. They also said they could see my reservation with my Order Number but I’m still skeptical - couldn’t confirm the date and time I registered for some reason - very strange. I am calling back tomorrow if I don’t get an email.

How do they manage to have people be in the park only for their reservation time: basically how will they kick people out once their time is done? Or will people with reservations earlier in the day will be able to stay through the next time slot?
Pandora didn’t enforce the times really
Neither did Toy Story Land. My family picked the later timeslot for Toy Story Land and we were actually kinda peeved, because there were clearly people from the early timeslot still hanging around enjoying it w/ no crowds for (basically) double the time we had allotted.

Which is why I picked the earliest/first timeslot of the day for Galaxies Edge.

I'm guessing they might work harder to enforce it w/ this one, since it's a bigger draw, but on the off chance they don't... better to be there as early as possible I reckon.

I'm thinking they may use different colored wristbands to differentiate? But who knows.

This is mildly troublesome. I hope they enforce the time slots. I also purposely chose the 5-9pm time slot because
#1 We really wanted to enjoy Oga’s during the evening and
#2 We arrive around noon after dh works the night shift so he’ll need to nap first!

I really thought the first and last time slots would be the best because there would be a 2 hour period where we should have the land to ourselves...and we won’t arrive until after the first time slot starts. In the whole scheme of things i’m super grateful to be going at all.
