Canadian Buffoon's Semi-EPIC Vacation - 10/29 - Link to new TR!

You're far too kind.
Just sayin' it like it is. :)
So very sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how something like this can hurt, no matter how much time has passed since you've spent time with someone. Sending love and light to you, and to your friend's family. Nathan and I are hoping to drive straight through to WDW in a little over a week from now, and when we make our drive I'll be sure to take time to think of your friend.
Thankyou, Emily.
I must admit...
Even though we'd lost touch.
Even though I hadn't seen
him in a very long time.

It's affected me.

Far more than I thought it would.

I'm finally caught up again! Ugh…I keep getting so far behind!

But Elle and I had had our hearts
set on Dole Whip floats for months.

IMG_1884_zpsmh5g4gwz.jpg

Hello, my pretties... Heaven in a cup!

Yummy! And cute pic!

Su-Lynn, Steve and I each got
a Hei-Hei cone.

No you don't just eat two cones in a row! :rotfl2:

Here's Su-Lynn and I taking
advantage of every opportunity
to eat all the things in Disney.

IMG_1886_zpswd3qda3e.jpg

Adorable! And the cones look good too!

Like any good DISer, I had done
a bit of research on how to
maximize points.

I have too and I still stink! Of course, I told the tricks to my DS and he was Galactic Hero on the first try! :sad2:

I still haven't really got the hang
of aiming, the darn thing, but...

Yay! You're getting there!

It made for an adorably awkward shot.

:rotfl:

Our DISmeet was in BOG.
We had separate ADRs at
separate times...
But they were finishing as we
were getting started.
We said a quick "Hi!" (again.)
and parted ways.

IMG_1892_zpsui3oncix.jpg

Our official DISmeet lasted much
less time than our un-official ones!

Awesome!

She'd been dying to try the "grey stuff"
because as the song says,
"Try the grey stuff, kinda bland
Don't believe me? Anal gland."

With lyrics like that, you could be the next Sherman Brother! :rotfl2:

A few minutes later, I got another
text from her saying that they
wouldn't let her in the restaurant
so she gave it to Doc (who was also
outside) to give to me later.

I'm so pleased that they don't
just let any ol' riff raff in there!

Wow! Kind of crazy, but I'm sure people would be sneaking in all the time if they allowed it.

You can't leave the castle
without a photo of the
Pantsless Prince.

It's just not done.

IMG_1908_zpsrzsypgug.jpg

Wait…where are his pants? Are they beige?? I never noticed this! :rotfl:

Which I'll get to...
that and I almost take a life...
in the next update.

Oh, no!

Actually, my second visit to WDW
was with my (at the time) best friend.
We drove non-stop.
He drove during the day,
and I drove during the night.

He just passed away a few days ago. :(

I'm so sorry about your friend

I'm finally caught up again! Ugh…I keep getting so far behind!
I think you need to devote
your life to just following my TR.

It only makes sense.

Yummy! And cute pic!
Thanks for thinking I'm
yummy looking!

No you don't just eat two cones in a row! :rotfl2:
OH YES YOU DO!!
Adorable! And the cones look good too!
I am adorable.
And Su-Lynn is cute, too.

I have too and I still stink! Of course, I told the tricks to my DS and he was Galactic Hero on the first try! :sad2:
:lmao:
Of course!
How flabbergasted were you?

Yay! You're getting there!
Gimme another dozen
or so years and I'll have
this thing aced.
With lyrics like that, you could be the next Sherman Brother! :rotfl2:
They couldn't handle
my brilliance.

Wow! Kind of crazy, but I'm sure people would be sneaking in all the time if they allowed it.
"Look! A castle! Let's go see!"
Wait…where are his pants? Are they beige?? I never noticed this! :rotfl:
Beige?
He's pantsless.
He has
no pants.

;)

You'll see. Soon.

Hola! I'm back for another school break and of course reading your TR. But what i've wanted to tell you is...

Here in the great state of Indiana, we do have IndyCars in our airport (Indianapolis) as well. Also, I live right next to a Harley Davidson store and often think of you every day I drive past it!

AnyWHO, looks like your trip with Elle has been fantastic. Those Dole Whip floats have me all of a sudden craving one at 10am.

Hola! I'm back for another school break and of course reading your TR.
:welcome: To the TR!
But what i've wanted to tell you is...

Here in the great state of Indiana, we do have IndyCars in our airport (Indianapolis) as well.
Well there I would be shocked
if there weren't any!

Also, I live right next to a Harley Davidson store and often think of you every day I drive past it!
Which one?
Don't tell me Southside...
Because I know for a fact
that one doesn't exist.

At least every time I try
to find it, I wind up at the

closed Cheeseburger in Paradise!

10am????

Image result for time doesn't matter meme

The cheeseburger in paradise just closed (again)! But its ACROSS the interstate from the old CiP. Across from the Target/Home Depot!

So yes, Southside. LOL

I have no idea if I've already replied to this or not since it's been a week+ since I've been on the DIS to look at TRs, so if so, just shoot on ahead and disregard. ;)

Nope!
Is there a better way to meet?

I think not!

Yes. At Victoria and Alberts.

You just have to ask the right questions.
Especially when she tells you ahead
of time what questions to ask!

That wouldn't have helped.

Then again... maybe it would. Hmmm...

Dragees help everything. Especially in Disney.

Right? I still haven't figure out
that mirror!

It's pretty impressive and Yes, I think adult guests should see it at least once to be impressed.

Dragees help everything. Especially in Disney.
They certainly don't hurt.

Unless they're stale and hard.

Then they hurt your teeth.

Gonna Be Epic - Part III

Okay!

Let's finish this day off, all right?
We've got the day more than
half done already and three

out of four DISmeets in the bag.

So far, it's been
a pretty good day.
Let's keep the trend
going, shall we??

Now we'd just come from
a mixed success meal
at BOG and a visit
with a slightly tipsy Belle.
Time to leave the land
of fantasy and mosey on
over to the land of the
wild frontier.

They should name them
after those.

All right? Everyone ready?
Off we go!

"DAD!!!"

Startled, I looked back at Elle.
"What?" I asked.
"You almost stepped on
a squirrel!" She exclaimed.

I tried to figure out what
she was talking about.
I had been striding along
and had turned my head
to mention something
to her when all of a sudden...

that.

Now I'm not going to try
and pretend I understand
all the latest teen slang.
I typically learn them around
the same time that they
go out of fashion.

But "step on a squirrel"
was a new one for me.

"You almost stepped right
on a squirrel. A squirrel ran
out into the middle of the
walkway, right under your foot
and you just about squished it."

Ladies and gentlemen and Mark.
Believe me when I say that
Disney is the last place you
want to squash a rodent.

They have friends in high places.

Tragedy averted, we continued
without further mishap to our
next rendezvous at Splash.

We arrived a short time later
and I spied Doc (@docsoliday1 )
and PR, his daughter, waiting for us.
Or perhaps he spied us, first.
hmmm... no. I spied him first.
Because if it was the other way
around, he would've taken steps
to avoid us.
This way I trapped him into
having to meet us after all.

Even though I'm a renowned
attempted-squirrel-murderer.

I had met Doc previously,
and I had no worries about
whether we'd get along.
Or rather, I had no worries
that I'd be fine with him.
I'm sure he was still worried
and possibly traumatized
from the last visit.
If you meet him, just don't ask
him about his pool playing.
Unless you want to see a
grown man burst into tears.
amiright, Ariana?

Okay. Yeah. Now you want to.
Seeing him cry would be pretty funny...

I was a bit concerned about
PR and Elle.
You just never know if two people
will get along or not.

Within seconds, PR and Elle were
chatting away and completely
ignoring the two old dudes
who were paying for everything.

And that's okay.
That's the way it's always been.

Doc handed me Su-Lynn's gift.
At least... I think he did.
It's possible that she gave
him something else.
How would I know?
But this had that... chunky
feel to it, so I'm pretty sure
I got the right thing.

key_zps1kp0d3jr.jpg

Thanks for including me, Su-Lynn! :goodvibes

I've usually had some fun with
the photo on Splash.
I figured we'd recruit Doc and PR
into the fun.
Since we were celebrating Elle's
graduation, we thought Splash
would be a fun way to show it.

422317628_zpsd61vcwlr.jpg

If it's not particularly clear,
I'm handing Elle her diploma
(she's wearing her Disney
graduation mouse ears)
while Doc and PR applaud
her accomplishment.

And if you look a little closer,
you'll note that I wore some
headgear myself.
It says, "Proud Parent".
And you can juuuust make
it out at is flies off my head.

422317628b_zpsehlmwlnv.jpg

After our impromptu celebration,
that Elle and I had planned for
months... we all headed
to the front of the park
so I could get Doc's springform
pan (from the cheesecake)
out of the locker and also
retrieve a couple items.

We parted ways and Elle
and I headed out for a date
with a pirate ship.

Sure was nice re-meeting you
and meeting PR, Doc! :goodvibes
I'll see you again in about six weeks!

We boarded the back of the
boat and pillaged and plundered
and all in all had a fun ride.

422376119_zpss0bde9ir.jpg

422376119b_zpsrg9bn2sv.jpg

When we got off the ride,
we hung around the POTC
exit for a bit until
we saw some young kids
with their parents.
We gave the kids our pirate booty.

We glanced back as they
walked away and noticed
the little boy holding
his dad's hand in his hook.

Worth it.

Okay, now what?
We've convocated on Splash
and privateered on PoTC...
"What's that?" Elle asked, pointing.
"Tiki birds." I warily replied.
"Can we go?" She said, excitedly.
<sigh> I almost made it out
of Adventureland unscathed.

We walked over to the entrance
and saw that no one was there
and a rope was strung across
the entrance.
"Oh." I said. "I guess it's down."
I hadn't seen that it was being
refurbed so it must be down
temporarily.
Just then a few more people
arrived at the entrance and
I told them that it looked like
it was closed.

Of course a CM showed up about
two seconds later and removed
the rope.

:sad2:

Another close escape, thwarted.

I will say this about the Tiki Birds.
It's definitely air conditioned.

HM was on the docket next, but
it was temporarily closed.
We ducked into Memento Mori
where Elle got this little beauty:

l2_zpsn3gnszqf.jpg

My eldest ghoul then tried to
drag me onto IASW, but
the wait time was thirty minutes.

We decided to skip it.
My heart leapt with joy.
And then was dashed as she
reasoned that we could
try again later.

Maybe she’ll forget?

We rounded the corner and
popped in to PhilharMagic instead.
Donald messed things up again.
You'd think by now he'd figure
out how to use that hat.

We had an upcoming ADR at
the Plaza, but we still had plenty
of time beforehand.
We decided to make our way
in that direction.

DSC07443_zpsrm23rkze.jpg

I have to take a photo of
my favourite trees.
It's a rule.

I suggested a spin on the
WEDway People Mover
and Elle enthusiastically agreed.

DSC07444_zpstkkzr0wo.jpg

It must be done.
If you ride it, a foot photo
is an absolute requirement.

That's me on the left.

The People Mover has a few things
going for it. Not least of which
is the chance to get off your feet
and get some aerial views of the park.

DSC07445_zpsyxefzxv3.jpg

Took this shot of the Tron
construction site.
I wonder how much closer
it will be to being finished when
I see it again four months later.

DSC07449b_zps2kxz01ze.jpg

And one of my favourite
photo ops of the castle...

DSC07452_zpspbh8fneb.jpg

We still had half an hour
before our ADR. Elle wanted
a photo of her in front of the
castle, sooo...

DSC07455_zpscdh3bwm4.jpg

We went and checked in at
the Plaza but were told to
come back in a while,
closer to our ADR time.
We sat outside and waited.

Did I mention it was hot?

IMG_1914_zpsrbcqkfxg.jpg

It was hot.

Before succumbing to the heat
and melting into a gooey mess,
we finally got inside the restaurant
and into the blessed air conditioning.
Our view:

IMG_1915_zpsrjr43pz5.jpg

Not the worst view in the world
to dine to, don't you think?

Elle ordered the veggie bangers
plate...

IMG_1918_zpse26ywwy0.jpg

...while I had wanted to try
the meatloaf.

IMG_1919_zps1zbixzjs.jpg

I'd heard good things about
the meatloaf but...
Well, I found it pretty bland
and nondescript.
I make a much better one.

Elle, on the other hand, proclaimed
her veggie sausages to be the
third best meal of the trip!

Hmmm...
Something's missing...
DISmeets… check.
Dole whip and Hei Hei… check.
ADRs... check and check.
Oh! I know what it is.
Silly me.
I had yet to pay a visit
to my fiancée.
Poor thing was probably pining
for me all day long, feeling
neglected and sad.

Well, we can't have that!
But...

I made a mistake.

It's all fine and well to talk
about your new girl with
your children on a hypothetical
basis; it's a whole other ball
of wax when it hits you in the
face with a wet fin.

Elle and I made our way over
to Ariel's pad so we could
re-connect and she could
swoon over me.
(She does that, you know.)
I asked if she still had her
engagement gift and she
immediately whipped out
her Dinglehopper that I'd
given her in California.

I leaned in for a kiss and...
well... I guess the reality
of the situation was a bit
much for Elle and she
screamed "NO!!!" and pushed
us apart.

422576963_zpsf5wysdub.jpg

Tragic.
Note to self.
Next time you want to
make out with a fish,
leave the kid at home.

*************************************

Funny true(er) story.
When we were setting up
the above photo, I was
explaining to the young lady
that I had a running series
of photo gags.
When I mentioned how I'd
given her a "dinglehopper",
she exclaimed "I still have it!"
and pulled one out.
It was the exact same size
as the one I'd given "her"
in California!

When we posed for the above
photo, I was leaning in and Elle
had her hand on my chest.
Elle at one point suddenly relaxed
the tension in her hand briefly,
which caused me to abruptly move
a fraction towards Ariel before
I caught myself.
The poor thing jerked in the
opposite direction. I think she
thought I was actually moving
in for a kiss!

Must admit I felt badly for her.
I'm thinking she probably has
to put up with some pretty
rude behaviour from ill-mannered
guests on a regular basis.

***********************************

We left a sorrowful, sobbing Ariel
and continued on with our MK day.
(Just keep swimming, Ariel.
I'll be back, soon.)

It was getting on into the evening
and we had a dessert party to attend.
We had a bit of time still, so we
popped into COP for a spin through
the decades.

We got to our party a little early
and stood in line with a couple
dozen other people ahead of us.

The woman standing directly
in front of me had a rather large
bee land on her shoulder.
I quickly shooed it away.
She turned to look at me and
I explained what I'd done.
"Are you sure it wasn't a love-bug?"
I may not have taken the time
to determine the sex of the bee,
(males do not sting, only the females)
or whether or not it was a honey bee
or a bumble bee (honey bees can
normally only sting once, but
bumble bees can sting multiple times)
but I can tell the difference between
a bee and a love-bug.
Elle backed me up and I was
not charged with assault.

Unfortunately for you, that means
the TR continues and you're
forced to keep reading.

As we stood in line, we plotted at
which tables we'd like to be sat.
The ones we wanted, of course,
were closest to the castle
with nothing in front of us
but a waist high retaining wall.
As we discussed our plan,
I saw a duck fly up and land
in a planter, that was attached
to the retaining wall.
I mentioned it to Elle and surmised
that perhaps it was settling in
for the night.
And if so, it might have its
slumber rudely interrupted.
(Then again... it was probably
used to the fireworks.)

Eventually, they began admitting people
and guiding them to their tables.
The CM who accompanied us
showed us all the dessert tables
and began to show us to a table
in the middle of the floor.
No, no, no. That won't do.
I asked if we could sit at a closer
table and he brought us to one
of the ones we'd picked earlier.
Yusss! Unobstructed view!

We got some desserts and drinks
and settled in to wait for the show.

I noticed that there were
some bushes on the other side
of the wall and they had twitched.
I remembered the duck that
had flown into the planter
and I leaned over to take a look.
This is what I saw:

IMG_1924_zpskrlkzn91.jpg

The duck had just laid some eggs!
I think this because when I mentioned
it to Elle, she spotted an egg about
six inches away from the others.
And when I looked again, later,
momma had moved it over to join
the other eggs.
Would seem to mean that at least
that egg had just been laid?

The show was fun to watch,
as always, but I still feel a little
nostalgic for Wishes.
HEA is fine, but it doesn't
get you in the feels like
Wishes used to do.

I don't want to bore you with
photos of fireworks that you've
already seen 1,000 times,
but I will post a couple if you've
ever thought about doing the
(seated) dessert party and
want to know what the
vantage point looks like.

DSC07513_zpsmldcja7b.jpg

DSC07518_zps1lhu85b7.jpg

As you can see, due to the angle,
the fireworks are offset from
what you'd see if you were
standing in the hub.

Nevertheless, I did enjoy the
novelty (and stress-free) of not
having to line up ahead of time
and being able to sit during the
entire performance.

I think if my goal was complete
immersion and/or photography,
I'd be in the hub.
But if comfort (and desserts!)
is the goal than I'd recommend
the dessert party.

After the party/fireworks,
we <sigh> unfortunately
walked upstream against
the prevailing crowd current
and found ourselves in front of...

IASW

And this time, shockingly,
it was a walk on.

Never fear!
I came prepared.
As we floated our way through
the land of zombie dolls,
I was quite content with
Aerosmith and ACDC blaring
in my ears, drowning out the
horrid ear-worm that one
normally hears in IASW.
As the zombies nodded their
heads in a good heavy metal
head banging frenzy I saluted
them and their enthusiasm.

Those dolls rock.

And my sanity (what little, if any
I still had) was still intact
when we disembarked.

I may have been a little bit
more deaf, however.

Worth it.

We rode a couple more rides.
HM was a 5-minute wait,
while PP (with a FP) was
a walk on.

And with that, we called it a night.

We arrived at the OKW bus stop
at 10:34pm and our bus arrived
at the exact limit of allowable time
at 10:39pm.

I was happy to have a seat
on the bus.
We'd done quite a bit of walking.

IMG_1925_zpsbnotsbj2.jpg

We got back to the hotel and
spent a bit of time packing.
We had a change of venue
on the docket for the next day.

Elle was asleep before I was,
and I eventually, gratefully fell
into bed and was out in seconds
right around midnight.

It had been a very full,
but very good day.

In case you didn't see it
in the last (real) chapter:

422171536c_zpsfmxxc7ex.jpg

And...
Did you see it in this chapter?

Coming up... Fit for a King!

Great Splash photo! Happy Graduation to your daughter!

I feel the same way about HEA, I really enjoy it, however, I don’t get the same special feelings I did with Wishes! RIP Wishes :sad1:

Ahh you are so sweet about the duck and a few hours earlier, you were almost killing a squirrel :lmao:

IASW is creepy and cute all at the same time, minus the annoying song, ugh!!
We ride maybe once every other year.

I enjoyed reading about your Dis meets, I wish we could have run into each other to say Hi! Maybe next time!

Okay!
Let's finish this day off, shall we?
Let's keep the trend
going, shall we??

There's a lot of shalling going on here.
They have friends in high places.

Huh. Seems to me you're talking about friends in low places. Very low places....

If you meet him, just don't ask
him about his pool playing.
Unless you want to see a
grown man burst into tears.
amiright, Ariana?

This very well may be a story I need to hear!

That's so awesome!! Well done!

It says, "Proud Parent".
And you can juuuust make

The crap they must pull out every night must be astounding!

I LOVE this!!!

We glanced back as they
walked away and noticed

his dad's hand in his hook.

Worth it.

Now THAT's what Disney is all about!

Of course a CM showed up about
two seconds later and removed

I've ducked the rope a couple of times and got my hand slapped for it.

It WAS hot. Wicked ugly hot.

Ok, I like veggies okay, but there's just a whole lotta green goin' on there.

:lmao:

Buahahahahaha! I'd have paid money to see that!

The duck had just laid some eggs!

That's pretty cool!

But if comfort (and desserts!)

the dessert party.

Of if you want to spend $$$
I may have been a little bit

Let's finish this day off, shall we?
We shall!

three
out of four DISmeets in the bag.
The best is yet to come.
At least for me, it was the best.

shall we??
I already said we shall.

Everyone ready?
Off we go!
Ummm...pretty sure it's supposed to be "Here we goooooo!"

I tried to figure out what
she was talking about.
I think it's a pretty clear statement.

"You almost stepped right
on a squirrel.
And she even had to repeat for the hard of hearing old guy.

A squirrel ran
out into the middle of the
walkway, right under your foot
and you just about squished it.
See? Pretty clear!

They have friends in high places.
While birds of prey are high up, I didn't realized they were the squirrel's friends.

We arrived a short time later
and I spied Doc (@docsoliday1 )
and PR, his daughter, waiting for us.
I tried to hide.

BTW: Since she's now 18 and I no longer have to be concerned about her safety/privacy like I was, it's okay if you use her real name...Penny.

Because if it was the other way
around, he would've taken steps
to avoid us.
I tried.

Okay, totally not true...I asked him to make sure with Elle it would be okay to join them on splash. If she hadn't been okay with it, we would have had a dismeet, yes, but no ride together.

I had met Doc previously,
and I had no worries about
whether we'd get along.
None here either.

If you meet him, just don't ask
him about his pool playing.
It's okay, they can ask me...that particular night, I sucked! Not even trying to sugar coat it.

Okay. Yeah. Now you want to.
Seeing him cry would be pretty funny...
I've cried about some things (recently), but that wouldn't do it.

Within seconds, PR and Elle were
chatting away and completely
ignoring the two old dudes
who were paying for everything.
And this is different from normal how?

Doc handed me Su-Lynn's gift.
At least... I think he did.
It's possible that she gave
him something else.
Nope. She gave me a dinglehopper made of real gold, but you didn't know that. Muwaaahhaaa

I figured we'd recruit Doc and PR
into the fun.
And was glad to. I know I told her, but tell Elle I'm happy for and/or proud of her again, please.

we all headed
to the front of the park
so I could get Doc's springform
pan (from the cheesecake)
out of the locker and also
retrieve a couple items.
Funny thing...I didn't care the least about the springform pan. I thought I'd told you this already, but thanks.
What he's not telling you, dear readers (because he's humble and doesn't want to talk about what he does for others) is he brought me a bottle of maple syrup -- remember the glass item he almost lost at bag check?

He also brought me some kindereggs. Now, for those of you who don't know, they're illegal to bring into the US (IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORM). Since they have small parts inside of the chocolate, the US decided to ban them because of parents who choose to sue someone else vs. taking responsibilty for their own choices (non-parenting) or not properly supervising their children and wanted to blame the manufacturer. Don't mention EVERY other country in the world can get them without trying to blame someone else. Okay, I'll get off my soapbox.

So, what he did to make them legal to bring was to separate the chocolate shell from the yellow capsule within. No longer small parts contained in chocolate. This is way past the call of duty and even more so the call of friendship!!!! Lastly, I had asked if he could have Elle knit me a "dwarf" hat. I have a purple (my favorite color) dwarf shift with Doc on the back and wanted a matching hat. I wanted to pay her, but she would not allow me. So, like father, like daughter...generous. Canadians are renowned for politeness.....@pkondz and Elle are, in my mind, renowned for generosity. Please tell her again thank you.

Sure was nice re-meeting you
and meeting PR, Doc! :goodvibes
I'll see you again in about six weeks!
Absolutely agreed on both counts.

We glanced back as they
walked away and noticed
the little boy holding
his dad's hand in his hook.

Worth it.
::yes::
Not at all unexpected of both of you.

We ducked into Memento Mori
where Elle got this little beauty:

I've never been there, but I like it.

My eldest ghoul then tried to
drag me onto IASW, but
the wait time was thirty minutes.
Ruh roh

We decided to skip it.
My heart leapt with joy.
YAY!!!

And then was dashed as she
reasoned that we could
try again later.
Ruh roh

You'd think by now he'd figure
out how to use that hat.
You'd think

I suggested a spin on the
WEDway People Mover
and Elle enthusiastically agreed.
Yay!

It must be done.
If you ride it, a foot photo
is an absolute requirement.
Of course. it's the background image of my phone. It's kinda funny how many of these I have on my phone.

That's me on the left.
I'm not sure which is more scary...
Elle has hairy legs
or
yours are shaved.

Took this shot of the Tron
construction site.
I wonder how much closer
it will be to being finished when
I see it again four months later.
I take pictures each time I ride WEDway. If I'd remembered to take the same spot each time, it would have been cool to do time lapse. I could post progress, but I'm sure you'd rather see it in person.

We still had half an hour
before our ADR. Elle wanted
a photo of her in front of the
castle, sooo...

Pretty girl you got there....inside and out!

Did I mention it was hot?
Nope. Given it was May, I figure it was hot.

It was hot.
See?

I leaned in for a kiss and...
well... I guess the reality
of the situation was a bit
much for Elle and she
screamed "NO!!!" and pushed
us apart.

Did she thank Elle for saving her?

The duck had just laid some eggs!
I think this because when I mentioned
it to Elle, she spotted an egg about
six inches away from the others.
And when I looked again, later,
momma had moved it over to join
the other eggs.
Would seem to mean that at least
that egg had just been laid?
Okay, all joking and teasing aside...that's a really cool picture and thing to see!

The show was fun to watch,
as always, but I still feel a little
nostalgic for Wishes.
HEA is fine, but it doesn't
get you in the feels like
Wishes used to do.
Agreed. HEA is okay, but never as good as Wishes from both a storyline and feeling standpoint. I know some folks have grown to like HEA, but to me it's just a bunch of disjointed movie clips projected on the castle and no STORY.

And this time, shockingly,
it was a walk on.
Oh no!!! $%#@#$

I was quite content with
Aerosmith and ACDC blaring
in my ears, drowning out the
horrid ear-worm that one
normally hears in IASW.
Whew!!

And my sanity (what little, if any
I still had) was still intact
when we disembarked.
Not sure you ever had any....you like me.

I may have been a little bit
more deaf, however.

Worth it.
Totally!!!

We rode a couple more rides.
HM was a 5-minute wait,
while PP (with a FP) was
a walk on.
Fantastic on both counts!

And...
Did you see it in this chapter?
Yep. Was he observing or just needing the potty?

Great Splash photo!
Thanks!
Happy Graduation to your daughter!
I'll pass that along. :)
I feel the same way about HEA, I really enjoy it, however, I don’t get the same special feelings I did with Wishes! RIP Wishes :sad1:
Yeah.
No goosebumps.

Ahh you are so sweet about the duck and a few hours earlier, you were almost killing a squirrel :lmao:
That squirrel had it coming!
IASW is creepy and cute all at the same time, minus the annoying song, ugh!!
We ride maybe once every other year.
creepy is right.
I ride it when some rotten
kid forces me to and won't
take "NO" for an answer.
(Or crying, sobbing or

gnashing of teeth.)
I enjoyed reading about your Dis meets, I wish we could have run into each other to say Hi! Maybe next time!
That'd be nice!

There's a lot of shalling going on here.
:headache:
I hate when I do that.
Just really bad writing.
I changed it.

Thanks for pointing that out.

:sad2:
Huh. Seems to me you're talking about friends in low places. Very low places....
Oh, no.
They occupy a deluxe suite
right at the very top

of the castle.
This very well may be a story I need to hear!
Well, if you see him next month...
Ask him.
That's so awesome!! Well done!
 Thanks!
The crap they must pull out every night must be astounding!
Hats... why did it have to be hats...

I LOVE this!!!
Thanks! :)
Now THAT's what Disney is all about!
:goodvibes

I've ducked the rope a couple of times and got my hand slapped for it.
That's because you're a bad girl
and everyone knows it.

You know what? I've never actually gotten a photo of those trees. Totes gonna next trip!
What???
How could you not!?!?

:rolleyes1
It WAS hot. Wicked ugly hot.
Yes. Yes it was.
Ok, I like veggies okay, but there's just a whole lotta green goin' on there.
That's what I thought.
"So, Bob... we gotta make
this a vegetarian meal."
"Okay... what if we take out
the good stuff and just shove in

more of this green stuff?"
;)
Buahahahahaha! I'd have paid money to see that!
I felt so badly for her!
That's pretty cool!
I'm not sure if I've ever seen
wild duck eggs before.
Heck, caged duck eggs.
Of if you want to spend $$$
Well, yes. That too.
And I'd spend it.
Surely there are some things
at Disney that you splurge on?

To each their own, of course. :)

:sad2:

No! Not bad writing.... a invitation to come along with you.
Oh, no.
They occupy a deluxe suite
right at the very top

of the castle.

Is that their safe place from almost-murderers like you?

Well, if you see him next month...
Ask him.

I need to PM @docsoliday1 !! Now that my plans are more set I can maybe find a time for a quick hello!

:rotfl:
That's because you're a bad girl
and everyone knows it.

Who? Me?

What???
How could you not!?!?

I'm always trying to get a a better one of the rockets.

That's what I thought.
"So, Bob... we gotta make
this a vegetarian meal."
"Okay... what if we take out

Did they mistake vegetarian for vegan? I was thinking mashed potatoes would be something nice to have added... ???
Well, yes. That too.
And I'd spend it.
Surely there are some things
at Disney that you splurge on?

To each their own, of course. :)
Of COURSE!! You've seen plenty of my splurges over the years!
