Just remembered another one - Dirty Sexy Money.
This was a great show. The Kids are Alright
One I enjoyed as a kid that I haven’t ever seen on tape or dvd was a show called Sara, with Brenda Vaccaro as a schoolteacher in the pioneer west. I believe that was also during the 1975/1976 season, but not sure. It was only on one season, but I never missed an episode.
This was a great show.
I couldn't relate to a large Irish family in any way, shape, or form. Yet this show made me laugh so hard.
Why in earth would such a wonderful show be canceled?
Two others that I liked and lasted only one or two seasons were American Dreams and Something About Brian ( not sure if that’s the correct full name of the series)
Mercy- it was an NBC show, but I made the mistake of watching the entire first season on Netflix. It ended with a cliffhanger and wasn't renewed
Even more frustrating to me was the fact that they never released seasons 2 & 3 on DVD; only season 1.American Dreams was good. Actually got three seasons. I feel like the last season may not have been as good. Maybe it occurred during one of the writers strikes?
That show actually made it a full season, 30 episodes. My Mother The Car
The River and Sliders (I'm pretty sure it was called Sliders)
