Same for me.I noticed earlier this week that the dates on the calendar past 9/30/19 are back to being "grayed out", i.e. they're not blue, and I can't click on them. Is this the case for everyone else?
me too! I really want to book this! Boo!I noticed earlier this week that the dates on the calendar past 9/30/19 are back to being "grayed out", i.e. they're not blue, and I can't click on them. Is this the case for everyone else?
We had that table and it was not a pleasant experience for all the reasons mentioned previously. You can also add in that they took the umbrellas down a full 15 min before the show started and our entrees came out in the dark even tho we ordered before others who had theirs. This really caught me off guard as well, BUGS that were on our food while trying to eat in the dark. Of course you expect bugs but just not that many trying to swat them away in the dark. We also had people behind us in that railing area that were beyond rude. Lastly no way to complain because the gals in charge completely disappeared at the end. I know this is a whole lot of negatives but we always have a good time and I always take reviews with a grain of salt but this was EXACTLY as others have said.I can't imagine they could possibly put a wheel chair at the table blocking the gate, just not enough room!
If you are not staying on property, during EMH, I don't think you will be asked to leave but they won't let you on any rides and once you leave a section of the park, you won't be allowed back into that section (or any other lands), so in effect they are herding you towards the exit. I think you can linger on Main Street and do some shopping and maybe grab some food.Does anyone know what happens during evening EMH? Do they kick you out right at 9 still or can you linger?
Sorry for the confusion, I was just wondering if you could stay at your table and enjoy more drinks since the park isn't closing right away.If you are not staying on property, during EMH, I don't think you will be asked to leave but they won't let you on any rides and once you leave a section of the park, you won't be allowed back into that section (or any other lands), so in effect they are herding you towards the exit. My bad - this is the Dining at Rose and Crown thread, I should have figured that out. I don't know the answer to your question.Sorry for the confusion, I was just wondering if you could stay at your table and enjoy more drinks since the park isn't closing right away.
Yes; diners who did not book the package are escorted by their server to a viewing area, off to the side. It is luck of the draw, whether or not they will be able to see everything, depending on how many others may already be in place at the best spots in the viewing area.My friend is going Feb. 2020. She really wants to do the Illuminations dining package but the dates don't appear available to book. She made a regular reservation at 7:30. Is there still an area that they take you to for people who have a regular reservation but want to view Illuminations. I had previously read that there is some sort of patio location that they can take patrons to? Thanks!
thank you, that is what I wanted to know. I think in the very early days of the package they were not seating both rows.We were sat at a table for two positioned behind and between two front row tables. When the lady and child sitting on my husband side stood up, his view was obstructed.
