Real life update.

DW and I are considering buying a different house.
Why, you might ask. (You might not).

I kinda rushed into this house because I didn't want to pay ridiculous amounts of rent.
DW wants a pool and to put in a pool would cost ~100K
DW wants gas for cooking. Probably another ~15K
Even though we have the same space we had in our house in GA, we don't have a full basement or a 12'x20' shed.
In other words, even though we downsized, we still have too much carp.
The church we found and like is on the other side of the nature preserve, so it's a 30 minute drive regardless of which way we go around.

So, all of these combined have made us start looking at other options.

You did have lots of stuff with not a lot of room for it (it seemed to me).

I've made it my life's work to get out of work.

Let's see... if we eliminated Monday to Friday, the weekends would become meaningless... so we need to keep something. I vote we keep hump day... and Friday. Everyone's always happy when it's Friday.

As long as the net result is I work less hours, then I approve whatever plan.

See there was some more great officiating in the Packers/Lions game last night. The only league with worse officials is the NBA.

The NBA. Where traveling is a non-existent call.

Turkey turned out well, could have cooked a bit more but just something to remember for next time.

And you didn't even use my brine recipe. Deep fried turkey is the best. And most dangerous cooking method, especially when you're already drunk on Thanksgiving.

DW and I still are debating, which really means she hasn't made up her mind. I want to go beach condo. Sure, monthly HOA fees suck. So, how much is an ocean view worth? We've talked about a Celebration condo as well. There are still dues with that. I've got the crazy idea of buying a duplex, living in one side, and renting the other. Good luck.

Brutal calls. It's been a joke across the league this year.

Even worse when they can't get them right with replay. Everything is reviewable or nothing is.

As for the changing of the name of Monday, Mark already gave you some exceptions. Other exceptions might include your birthday, anniversary, or other family members special days that fall on Monday. Then, there is life after retirement where every Monday as well as every day is just a Friday.

It's like how Magical Express becomes Tragical Express, depending on which day of your vacation it is.

So, maybe Monday could be Funday or Suckday, depending on where it falls in your current calendar.
