Good luck! I’m curious to see if this passes - I was going to offer $100 and pay closing for my AKV, but thought $103 (which was full price asking) would be more attractive to Disney in ROFR. So I offered full price and the seller paid closing (which I actually think ended up being cheaper).

This was initially $145 that was accepted, but another buyer came in at full asking $155 24hours and stole the offer. Not the best move by the seller and agent for this, but it is what it is.

Hopefully will pass ROFR regardless.

Why would they list so low? VGC flys off the shelf closer to $200. Doesn't make sense.
 
not lately. VGC been stagnant. Plenty of listings on one site and been dropping steadily. This one had been on the market for nearly 2 months and had dropped lower last week, so put in a bid ....as did another apparently after ours being accepted :(

Regardless, it's a data point for everyone

It’s definitely a good data point to have. The last numbers I’ve seen on VGC were around $190. I didn’t realize it was starting to drop a bit like some of the other resorts.

Now there was a fidelity contract offered for $160pp earlier last week just after my acceptance. It was completely loaded with banked pts too. That's pending too now since i reached out to them after mine fell through this weekend.....

So there's two data points for 150-160$ pp for VGC.
Wait....you mean you offered asking, it was accepted and someone came in behind you for $10 more and they rescinded on the agreement they had with you? Did you at least have the opportunity to match the offer? Why are they presenting offers after acceptance?? SKETCHY

I was stung in a similar fashion. In my opinion, not honest business practices. I wonder if it's even legal.

Yes. Accepted contract. then 48 hours later. Someone behind offered and the listing agent presented it and the owner accepted that. They initially offered us to up the ante then rescinded since owner asked for FULL offer, but I wouldn't out of principle anyways as it was already previously accepted.

VERY sketchy and unprofessional on the part of the broker and they will never have my business. I didn't want to link them to give them the pleasure of eyeballs from this board.

At least the owner (member of other board) responded, apologized for the counter. He plays a part in it too, but not going to out a member. This is on the broker IMHO.
