Just came across this great and helpful thread. Am I understanding that the Disney GC will only have discount til end of January at BJs? Or will it will less than 8% after January?

From my understanding the discount is for the entire month of January. What it will be after that I don't know.

No, I believe Kroger classifies dgc as “travel”, so they won’t get 4x fuel points this promotion.

That's crazy! I would go back to the store and talk to someone in CS. You'd think the offers online for this promotion were the same in store.

@Tinkerbell19672 Some have luck converting Happy Guy at Home Depot for Disney GCs. $50 per transaction. Some use Express Check Out and others go to the registers.



I tried once when Happy cards first came out and the card wouldn't scan, took me a month to get a payback check from this company. I was buying a cooler for DH and this was during the height of holiday shopping. I was not happy. If you choose to go this route go slowly

Thanks, I did the happy card/Home Depot trick once and it worked fine. I may try it, using my Discover for 5% back.

And probably goes without saying but I say it anyway, remember that the charge to your card has to be at least $150 so you'll have to throw something else in your cart to get over the threshold since the GCs are discounted.

We had a great time. Didn't get the cards in time, but I had others so no biggie.

Thanks for making this thread. I’ve been using the other thread to find deals for non Disney gift cards for awhile. Looking for Amazon discount deals currently. Luckily my JCP has them and the happy cards with JCP are the least popular and always on sale. Unfortunately it’s always $50 that’s on sale and I need $1250 worth. How would you go about converting 25 when only one register has them and you can only go once or twice in a week?
