What is a disney ride you will never ride again

Space and Splash - rode them 40 years ago and they both convinced me I don’t like roller coasters or ride with big drops!

None of them are too extreme for me, I love thrill rides, but Primeval Whirl is just a bad ride. If my kid wanted to ride it I would go but it is a carnival caliber ride at best.

I also found the new Arial ride in FL pretty boring but I'm sure I'll be on it at least one more time next time we get there with our son.

Kali River. I've had to wring my clothes out in the bathroom one too many times. Never again. The ride itself isn't good enough to make it worth it.

For me probably the Little Mermaid ride. I don't hate it, but it's a pretty boring ride-through of the movie and there are better dark rides. Plus Ariel is popular so the line can be kinda long. So I'm just not likely to ever bother riding it again, ya know?

Mine is astro orbiter

I thought it would be dumbo with different theming not the case for me I thought I was going to fall off the ride

Yep, Astro Orbiter for us, too. A few years ago DS (who's even taller than I am) and I decided to try it on a lark. The CM sent us both up, saying we could both fit in 1 ride vehicle together. We had no idea, until we got up there and saw there was just no way. The CM up top kind of laughed along with us and gave us 2 anytime FPs to use elsewhere (which we used for 7DMT-score!)

I avoid:
Tea Cups
Dumbo
Astro Orbiter
Carousel
Basically anything that goes in circles and spins.

There are others that I limit or won’t do back to back with each other.

Mission Space and Star Tours. Last trip I rode Star Tours because my kids wanted to. I spent the entire ride praying it would end soon. The 3D makes the new version even worse. I feel like the movie and movements aren't in sync either.

Snow White’s Scary Adventures. Traumatized me as a kid and I’ve never taken my kids on it. We tend to mostly avoid Fantasyland so it’s not really outright “will never ride again,” more like we just don’t bother.
Mine is Goofy's Sky School. I have back issues. I ignore the "do not ride if you have spine issues" signs most of the time because most rides don't bother me by Sky School messed me up.
This I can say never again. I’ve never been on it where it didn’t jack me up in some way.

In DCA it’s always walk on. We tend to use it as a cool down/break. You can always count on it to break down once and enjoy the AC for a good ten minutes.

I actively avoid the Matterhorn because like Goofy’s Sky School it always jacks me up in some way but can’t say I won’t ever ride it again. If I can get away with skipping Splash, I do, but I usually cave to, “Come on, Mama, pleeeease!”

Aside from the Incredicoaster and TSMM we generally skip the Pier altogether. We talk about riding the Fun Wheel but it has never happened.

Fun Wheel is pretty freaky if you get the swinging carts. You always feel like you're falling off the thing! It's fun though for sure, but the sensation is jarring and unlike other rides for some reason.

I know more than one person who calls it “Mickey’s Wheel of Death.” 😂 I don’t know that we’re consciously avoiding it but there’s always a line and it’s a long process to my understanding. We just tend have “better” things to do. Someday. Maybe.

Yeah, it does take a while, from the lines to the ride itself.

I think what makes it so weird is that there is like a delay in the motion. The wheel sops and then a few seconds later you feel like you're falling. It's unlike other rides and actually a very old design.

Tower of Terror. I allow my family to talk me back on it every few years so they can laugh through the whole ride at my death screams. Family.

I visited DL 4times starting in 1960, and never rode the Matterhorn. Various reasons- first time a 2+hour wait, other times closed. Finally in the 5th visit around 2010 I got to ride it. I hated the whole ride and will never ride it again.

small world. let's just say that you do NOT want to be trapped for an extended period of time on it during a breakdown :scared1:

Mission Space Orange. It'd probably turn out fine but since the original hard core Mission Space sent me to the ER with vertigo 15 years ago, I'm not taking any chances. Just do the green.

A guy tried to pick a fight with me in line for iasw once. I'd rather avoid that in the future.

Mission Space, Expedition Everest, and Flight of Passage these all make me very nauseous. :crazy2:
