Dischurners is private and I think the mods have q good plan in place for allowing people to join. It'd take some work for someone to join, much more than reddit or flyertalk.

As for the link, in order for that to work it would have to be the exact same person using the exact same link, from reddit with it not working and then copied by the author from reddit and emailed to the person and then it working. Links die or get pasted in wrong or things break, to me that's not weird when some of these links haven't been updated since January (I date when I update mine and know some are that old).

Popup messages happen to everyone, there's posts on them on r/amex and the person that got it didn't know what it was about. These are people that might be churners but you can tell a lot are just your average credit card users both from the questions they ask and the answers some of them give. So it's not just churners that are getting the popup.

You just did what was needed! One of their moderators will get you invited. They have adjusted priorities during this work-from-home stage, so it might take a bit.

Yes but it also says it's a grocery purchase. Does wm code as grocery for amex? I wouldn't think it would since target and fred meyer, which people consider a grocery store, don't they are general merch or something like that.

I should have said it was grocery pickup. It codes as grocery for my bcp, which is what I usually use. I decided to use the marriot card for one purchase because of the 6x and to put some spend on that neglected card.

But did it code as grocery on your Marriott? I would never assume amex codes the same on each card without checking. You'd expect it would but I don't trust them that much. It shows the 12x points on my transactions a few days after the charge on my surpass.

Yes but I couldn't even generate a new hyatt link the other day and you could. So there's got to be something more to it than just a bunch of dead links and you being able to generate one. I haven't tried again and no one else has said anything. My csp link still worked so it also seems to be a hyatt issue. I don't see how having them on dischurners makes a difference.

I don't even know what the just for you you're talking about is. I went to the same refer a friend site I always go to, put the last 4 of the card with my last name and zip code and it said nothing for you.

As for the popup, there isn't one on my csp but on my hyatt it says the offer is expired. But it also seems like I've seen popups on chase regarding it being a support or something but maybe that was amex.

That explains it! I thought it was weird I had the charge from them and then a $5 credit from them. I also see that dude's pet insurance counts as well. Maybe I'll leave it on my plat after all at least for now. Not sure if I'll need it to meet msr or not.

Well here's a mystery. DH got a 12 page Client Relationship Summary from Merrill Lynch today. We do not have, nor have we ever had, any type of investments with them. It does say 'A Bank of America company' on the header, but all we have with them is a credit card. I'm open to any thoughts...

Never done a bank bonus, but interested in starting to do these. I'm debating right now between the PNC $500 bonus and $700 Citi bonus. It looks like both credit in 90 days, but with PNC you are penalized if you pull the money out within 6 months. I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion of either, a good or bad experience, etc. A deciding factor will also be whether I can do everything online, as there are absolutely no Citi banks except for several states away from me, and there is only one PNC bank that's kind of far with weird hours. Appreciate input from anyone. Thanks!

I am currently working on the Citi one for $400. Set it up and did everything online. Can't say about PNC as that is my everyday bank. I have in the past done Key Bank and am also doing a Huntington Bank one (all online), those may be local to my area.

I chose to do the $200 Citi basic checking one. Unfortunately, paypal does not count as qualifying funds for the bonus so will have to commingle my business and household funds for a bit until the bonus hits.

I would really like to do the $500 Chase Business checking bonus, if it's still around - it was an offer we got a few months ago but can't do it online and don't really want to go to a branch right now as things are getting pretty bad around here.

Yes. I went through them again and some work, some get the popup. All the links advertise the same offer details. But some get a popup that says, 'the offer you are attempting to access is no longer available. You will be redirected to the most current offer. If not redirected click here'. Then it takes you to the same offer.

We bought a Nespresso and never looked back. It's way better than Starbucks in any case. Did you get the small capsules or the large ones? We have the small ones and they are great. I hope you like your new machine.
