this is such a sad sick world

someone early on posted about what I was trying to get across about this virus it was posted that back in 2019 sciencetists were pridecting a pandemic and were doing research and stopped

if they felt that strongly about it why did they stop

still cant figure out how in this day and age how they could shut the world down

I'm sure the people that boss them around told them to stop.

Actually it is most often on tour in public galleries around the world as it is now. I am sure it is coming to a major city near you for public display if not in 2020 then 2021. The viewings tend to be in galleries and not museums. Of course it wouldn’t be in a public square in the US at thIs time with lunatics on the loose that know very little about anything before 0 BF (Before Facebook).

Need to do away with AD and BC and BCE and just have BF and AF-Before Facebook and After Facebook.
Looking at something in a museum is different from having a monument to it. Civil Wars are not things to be celebrated, especially the side that chose to take up arms against their own country because they wanted to keep the right to own other human beings.

The issue isn't acknowledging the history or trying to erase it. We just need to stop acting like these men were heroes. They weren't. They were traitors to the United States. It's disturbing that they're romanticized and celebrated at all, especially given what they were fighting for.

But shouldn't we take the pyramid off the $1 or did we already? Really where is the time that things are okay from. Can someone point it out to me. I think we should take it off the wonder list. As for the flag I do feel there are still feeling for it, and do not see a reason it should be on public grounds or function.

Sydney has a major renovation in place to accommodate a Tutankamen exhibit in 2021 and Saachi gallery in London had one in 2019 and here is a comment about the London exhibit-
“Just returned from visit to London to see the Tutankhamun exhibition. All I can say is that it was fantastic, better than our visit to Cairo in 1997. If you’re thinking of going please do not hesitate it’s worth every minute waiting to see the artefacts. Well done London for a fantastic display.“

Boston has one scheduled but not sure if 2021 or 2022.
Oh you're right, yes, were were at a London one I think (or maybe Paris, cannot recall). The museum opening in Cairo has been delayed until next year partially due to COVID, so not sure what that may due to any travelling dates. It does sound like they plan to limit some of the artifacts in future from travelling. It seems that the Sydney dates are postponed.

THE LAST WORLD TOUR
King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh is being hailed by authorities in Egypt as the last exhibition of the famed Pharaoh’s funerary objects to tour internationally.

And took away the money/funding that allowed them to do the research so we could make the appropriate preparations to prevent a pandemic or develop the appropriate response plans Yeah.

Hey, the guacamole looks good. Count me in... and I'll bring sangria, I make great sangria. Or maybe bourbon, I think I need a little something on ice after reading the OP.

Because that's the definition of a pandemic. :confused3

Bill Gates, the second richest man in the world was warning of the possibility of a pandemic happening back in 2015. That means that money and science might not be able to stop one in time. 2015 was even before the current U.S. administration.

Research is now saying that the first reported case in Wuhan, China, might not have been the earliest time COVID-19 might have been around. Web searches in China dating back months earlier show many people doing searches on coughing and other COVID-19 symptoms. And satellite photos show cars at China hospitals, in certain areas, were way up. Back then, it was just thought to be "flu-like" symptoms. It may take a while for medical researchers to detect it.

In the NYC area, it took only 3 WEEKS!!! from the first two known confirmed case to spread to over 20,000 known, confirmed cases. It is now estimated that COVID-19 may have been undetected in our area months before. But, those cases were isolated enough and the symptoms mild enough that we didn't turn into the COVID epicenter earlier. It took a super-spreader going to a funeral and a birthday party in the same weekend, and the majority of those people not voluntarily quarantining, which was the recommendation back then, that turned it into an out-of-control situation in a tremendously, densely populated area.

That super-spreader had actually been sick for a couple weeks. He went to the hospital twice already. Each time, they had tested him for other viruses, as they never fathomed that COVID had hit our shore on the east coast. He, of course, tested negative for those viruses, which is why he ended up at the funeral & birthday party, thinking he didn't have anything communicable.

It wasn't until the day when a hospital worker, traveling home from working with COVID patients in Iran, and recognized she had the symptoms, and went specifically to be COVID-19 tested, and tested positive, that NY officially knew we had COVID-19. The next day was when the super-spreader was tested and found positive for COVID-19.

Again, a novel virus may get around way before the medical experts realize they have something that could spread like a pandemic.

Why would we want monuments to people who wanted to destroy the Union and wanted to hold on to slavery. They were traitors. I don’t see Germany putting up monuments to Nazi generals
It all came down after the war. They wanted no part of glorifying a part of their history that was absolutely shameful,so they took them all down.Good on them!

I just bought an Air Fryer and made biscuit-donuts. I'll have to try the chicken wings. Do you use any old wings or some sort of pre-treated ones?
Not the PP you were asking, but I use plain wings and dust them with Frank's red hot buffalo dry seasoning (sometimes I do them plain.) When they are done I coat them in a Buffalo wing sauce. Airfryers do not do well with "wet" coatings so be careful with that.
