I'm trying to move points from DH's business card to CSR. He has separate logins for business and personal accounts.

When I click on Combine Points, it takes me to a screen where you can add household member/company owner. When I add his CSR account number and last name, it says "An unexpected error occurred". Can you no longer combine points this way? Can I move them to my account and then back to his?

I'm trying to move from a CIP to his CSR if that matters. Last night I moved my points to his CSR without issue.

Thanks for any guidance!

You and I must be in the minority since no one else has chimed in. I have a ton of issues moving points from CIP's to CSR. I have to move points to several other points to finally end up on the CSR. This last time was really difficult. I feel like I tried every Chase UR-earning card we have and none were working. I SM'ed Chase to see if they'd move them for me and they wouldn't (I asked last month too and it was a no-go). It's really kind of ridiculous how hard it is. I get an error telling that "card isn't eligible" even though they are all UR cards and all household.

On my account (combined business and personal cards):

On DH's personal account:

On DH's business account:

So, basically, we just had referral offers and checking account bonuses.
Do you have your UR cards link to your DH‘S CSR account? You like I have to daisy chain my accounts. So my CIP/CIC to DH’s CIC to my CSR. Where as I can link DH’s CIP, CIC or Freedom directly to my CSR. It’s pain the extra Step but I can get the points where I want them so it’s all good.

So now my $100 Dell Order the game that was supposed to arrive tomorrow does not ship until the end of next month....so not sure what that will do to the credit. How is it possible that it takes a month and a half to ship a video game.

Wonder if I should just cancel the game and order another Xbox gift card.

Thank you both. In our case, DH has the CIP that I was trying to transfer points from and the CSR to transfer to. I have a CIC - so I transferred his CIP points to my CIC and then transferred them to his CSR and it worked! Seems odd that they have no problem letting him transfer to my business account and then from my business account to his personal account, but will not allow his business to his personal. Oh well - mission accomplished!

It depends on when the charge the card. I ordered a dishwasher from Lowes (with a credit, I thought), but they didn't charge until the shipped 3 weeks later. No credit.

Found out today my high school senior daughter will have a volleyball season this fall. Not sure exactly what it will look like, but so happy she’ll get to play. Now hopefully I’ll get to watch all the games! I know many of us are in the same situation of being unsure still with fall sports. Fingers crossed for us all! :flower3:

That's great news. It is heartbreaking to think that kids might miss out on their final year of high school sports. My daughter is a Junior but is desperately hoping that VB will happen this fall. At the moment it is 50/50 with tryouts already pushed back 2 weeks.

This happened to me with Dell and they do not charge the card until the item ships.

Pretty sure dd will miss her last year of varsity swimming. And I think she had a good shot at being a captain:( I don’t expect any in person schooling or sports this year.

And I answered, you can cancel the $1k CL card without causing any issues. :D
THank you.

I'm actually trying to stay OFF reddit right now because I joined the Agents of SHIELD sub a couple months ago... this is the very last season and the episodes air on Wednesday nights but I cannot watch until the next day and avoiding the spoilers is very painful, especially this close to the end!!!

This makes no sense at all. I sent chase an sm last night to move the credit from card a to card b and close, they are both biz cards and both on the same login and both in my name, both for biz name and name. This is what I get back -

AFan5, let me share that currently we are unable to transfer any credit limit from the account ending in A to the account ending in B.
Please know that we offer two types of credit card consolidations:
- Consolidate and close: we consolidate the maximum available credit possible and close the other account. The available credit moves to the remaining open account.
- Consolidate and remain open: we reduce one account by a portion of its credit limit that you select, and that available credit moves to the other account.
Here's what you need to know about consolidating your accounts:
- We do not offer options to consolidate consumer accounts with business accounts.
- The liable parties on both accounts must match. - Both accounts must be open and in good standing at the time of the request.

Umm...last time I check I fit the first one and I"m trying to do it biz to biz not biz to personal. I replied back that I didn't understand and that I met their criteria and asked them again to do it. I don't get it.

Glad it worked!

Converted another $1000 to money orders. Should do it once more this week. Glad to be accumulating ur points again—hopefully to use for flights to Europe next summer.
Very Nice...I had planned on converting $4k with Serve, but hurricane Isaías hit LI.....lots of power outages so some FDs are closed and others machines are down so no Serve loads. Will get 3k done, then have another $1k to do before October

Sorry you got the hit. I was mostly fearing power outages but came through okay.

Ugh, my oldest was a swimmer so I can sympathize with how much training they do. I know playing sports competitively eventually comes to an end, but I’m sad for these kids who have it ending prematurely. Hugs to her!

We were lucky our development has underground wires so didn’t lose electric.
My daughter did so they brought the contents of the refrigerator to our house, their power was only out a day....lots of people are not going to get it back until Saturday.
So many trees came down taking the power lines with them, very time consuming reconnecting everything.

Is there something on reddit about how to do this? I've always just gotten the bulk of my points through sign up bonuses and focused my time and energy on that, but with those becoming harder to get, I want to look into this, but don't know where to start.
