I'm actually more of a beer-drinker, but I got this little jewel in a email a couple of weeks ago. It's called "The Don," and it's from our favorite San Francisco restaurant -- Scoma's.

It's a Bloody Mary, made with their own house-made mix, but with a giant prawn, bacon-wrapped scallop, crab cake, and fried veggie balls added.

Unfortunately, The Don takes 8 minutes to make...so they give you a free draft beer while you wait.

Pictures can be deceiving, but it looks like it might possibly be yummy!

I also really liked a drink at a (now closed) restaurant called the One Night Stand.

Day 89 for me. I was only going to go for 90 days but now I am thinking of keeping going. For some reason it just seams right for me right now.

A nice strong traditional margarita on the rocks, salted rim. (Like the one I made with last night’s tacos. I MAY have decided on the menu just to go along with the drink. )

If I drink at all, I usually have a pina colada if they're available. If not, I drink Corona and lime. Honestly, I'm sort of a teetotaler. I've been sloshed enough times to know that I don't like it much.

I’ve learned how to make mojitos during lockdown. I think I’ve mastered them now. However I’m not much of a drinker. I drink one on Friday night and one on Saturday night, every weekend. I think that alcohol doesn’t agree with me as my face is flushed after one drink.
