Me, too.I hate the plans where you have to walk through the master bath to get to the closet.
Also not a fan of grey, grey, grey everywhere.

To me not having a door from the house into the garage would be a safety/security risk. We can go right from the house to the car, get locked in the car, then open the garage door, and upon return, safely get the car in the garage, the door closed, and safely get in the house. I know when my daughter bought her house it was about thing I felt she had to have for her safety living alone.I thought of another one, which may have been mentioned upthread.
I HATE houses that have the garage at the front of the house. I have no desire for a door from the garage to the house.
My aunt LOVES those signs. There are all over the downstairs, where I have no design opinion that will get listened to. We have 'Family Is Everything' over our kitchen doorway, 'Live Laugh Love' in the downstairs john for some reason, the laundry room has 'Laundry Today or Naked Tomorrow,' and the tackiest one- 'Welcome to the Bathroom. Please Have a Seat' in the basement 1/2 bath.

Those stupid decorative signs that tell you what to do in each room. Like “EAT” for the kitchen, “WASH YOUR HANDS” for the bathroom and my favorite, “LIVE LAUGH LOVE” everywhere else.
Corkscrew townhomes. At least that's what we call them. We looked at a lot of townhomes before buying ours in 2019. Sometimes we'd drive up and immediately say, "Corkscrew!" It's the kind where you drive into the garage, then take a flight of stairs up to the kitchen/living room. Then you go up another flight to a couple of bedrooms and a bathroom. Then you go up another flight for the master bedroom. Sometimes there might even be a bonus room above that. We were looking to downsize to a place where we would spend our retirement. A "corkscrew" house wasn't going to cut it.
If they are 2700 or 3000k, those shouldn't show any blue at all. Although -it's true that everyone perceives light differently. Is your room warmer tones as well? They should dim down to 5% which may not be as good as a halogen, but is really low and satisfies most people. The dimming problem can be a couple factors -low quality LED trims or the dimmer itself. If you ever try again in the near future use(or something similar):
Halo RL56069S1EWHR (for 5/6" cans)
Lutron DVCL153P-WH dimmer
Best of luck!
Never understood how people with dogs keep them in without a fence.
You wouldn't like my house. Have to go through my GREY master bedroom into the GREY and white master bathroom to get to the closet.
I get how it isn't for everyone. Just made me laugh. I do like it when my husband has to leave the house at 4:30am for work. I never have to deal with him coming into the room to get to the closet. It does have its benefits!!
The better way would be to have the closet between the bedroom and bathroom. Otherwise if someone's in the bathroom with the door locked you can't even get to the closet.
I've had two houses with closets accessed through the bathroom, both had water closets so one had no door to the bathroom and the other had an optional door that was awkward and better removed..no need for doors in this setupThe better way would be to have the closet between the bedroom and bathroom. Just common sense for a woman living alone who goes to work at 2 am. My parents house had the garage on the front but it's didn't have a door into the house, you had to go out the back door to the back door of the garage, or out the front door and open the garage which wasn't fun when it was raining. Kind of a big selling point here and has been since the end of World War II when builders started mass producing houses for the troops coming home.Yikes! You must live in a super dangerous neighbourhood. Why not move if you’re that scared?

I have options. I don't have to enter the garage from the house. I can go out the back door and enter the garage from the side door or go out the front door and then open the big garage door. All of the houses in my neck of the woods have attached garages. I'd hate to have a garage that's not directly attached to the house...it would be a huge pain in the neck for exactly the reason you just described!
