Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

It might also fall under the bar closure mandate...if less than 51% of its revenue is from alcohol, they can't open. The places that also offer food have a better chance of staying open. And I'm sure there's a max capacity for indoor places too. Damn covid strikes again!

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

I'd guess the bars being closed have more to do with the state mandated bar closure than anything else.

Poly Studio Villa Coffeemaker and Half and Half Question

I came to say just this! We like the flavored version, and always bring it for travel so no fridge worries. Just plan on a bunch of them, I too prefer creamy coffee, and it always takes me at least 4 to get it to the color I like lol.

    Disney hotel ny check in

I wanted to know this too, and used the chat feature on MDE. CM said they are following CDC guidelines and asking the guests to follow them too. And that's all they can do is ask. Of course there are some who will lie or ignore the quarantine. I fear with the "go to your room and avoid the...

For those who are onsite...what is available and what is different?

I would guess less than 80% too, if only because so many resorts aren't open, but DVC connected to them are, and that counts for minimal rooms. I had a standard room at Poly, but was switched to a studio because the rest of the resort isn't open yet.

Post Your Rescheduled/Relocated Resort Date Here

My dates are July 22-26. We were booked at the Poly, lagoon view, switched to deluxe studio, still there. My concern is me loss of the second bed, we are travelling with 4 adults and a tall teen. I can't even tell what replaces the daybed. If it's the same kind of drop down as the mods, I'm...

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

    Lockers/Bag Free question

Also, the lockers are very slim, my regular backpack was a struggle to fit, and sharing wasn't an option, we needed 3 for the 5 of us. 2 small Loungefly backpacks and a Hydroflask was a very tight fit. There are bigger ones, but not for free.

I'm here right now. Best investment I made pre trip is the double fan that goes around my neck. It's not sunny, and it's been raining off and on all day, We did visit the U-rest stop in what used tho be Sinbad show...we were the only ones there. It was a nice place to sit mask free, there...

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

I'm so excited about my upcoming stay at the Poly...we were to go on a Med cruise but you can guess what happened to that. I still had the time off work, and decided to book something in the hopes the parks would be ready for us. The price was right, and a heckofa better price than the...
