Planning trip morning of 10/31- no reservations still?

Good thing we're early risers for early admission! It's going to be dark out!

Just back from 10/16 to 10/19 trip

Does Hagrids have a regular line at early entry and then go to virtual? I was planning to rope drop Hagrids at early admission, but wouldn't be worth it if it was virtual anyway and I can get a virtual line while in the other park (also early entry that day).

Where to eat at Universal Orlando including menus...UPDATED REGULARLY

I found out you can call Universal and reserve that way. We did that for Toothsome the weekend of Halloween because we were worried about long waits.

Kong ride- still jump scaring in line?

Bringing my mom along and she does not enjoy jump scares. Are they still doing this in the Kong line? I'm guessing probably not with Covid, but want to be sure.

    Arriving to Universal by Rideshare

I've never had a problem with being dropped off early, but I also haven't been since Covid. However, I doubt things have changed. As long as you are there at a reasonable hour (like 7 AM for an 8 AM opening), you'll probably be fine.

Planning trip morning of 10/31- no reservations still?

Just making sure we don't need to make reservations to get into the parks. We plan to show up just prior to park opening and just stay until lunch to avoid Halloween crowds. Any other tips? We haven't been in a couple years and haven't been to any theme parks since Covid. We know to bring...

How far in advance do the restaurants take reservations (Cowfish)?

I tried making reservations for 6 at Cowfish for 10/30 today and the only thing showing was 9:45 PM! Are walk-ups more likely to happen for a party of 6? I just don't know what to expect at this point!

    Sea World Reservation System

How can one check if reservations for a date are full before buying tickets? We want to go 10/31 and plan to buy tickets in 2 weeks (so around 9/18). We want to go specifically on 10/31 and don't want to buy tickets if that day is full. I tried searching for this answer but didn't find it...

Trouble linking Disney Springs resort to MDE

Me, too. I gave it some time and finally called (Hilton Lake Buena Vista) to get a # from them. It worked right off the bat.

Trouble linking Disney Springs resort to MDE

I'm having the same issue with Hilton Orlando LBV, which I booked with credit card rewards points. I booked about 6 days ago. It's reassuring to see others had the same problem that eventually got resolved. I'll keep trying for another week or so before I start calling the hotel and/or Disney.

    The Edison entertainment?

So just regular restaurant before 9:30? Even on a Friday? We were planning on 7 PM dinner there, but not sure if it's worth it without any entertainment.

Anyone stay at Drury Inn in Orlando

Yes! We have stayed a couple times now when we visited Universal. Rooms are clean and very quiet- there was a horrendous storm one night when we were there and we could barely hear it through the windows. Staff is exceptionally nice and there is the usual hot breakfast and manager's...

Tell me about Epcot Friendship Boats

We have used it when we had elderly parents with us. As Magpie said, it doesn't necessarily save you from walking if you have to stand and wait for it, but if you time it just right as it is arriving, it can be worth it.

'OHANA means CHUNKY! An Aug 2017 Family TR THE END 4/26 - The Last Day and Trip Epilogue!

We've been around the Disney block quite a bit and finally got APs this past Thanksgiving Break. So that was our first dip in the proverbial pool, though it was a short trip. I'm still getting the hang of using my AP for the benefits. Can you believe we went all 3 days not realizing that even...

Offsite that feels like a luxury resort?

Another vote for Hilton Bonnet Creek or Waldorf. As cheap as a moderate and sometimes as cheap as a value Disney resort, yet so much nicer. Definitely on par or better with Disney Deluxe. Lazy river and pool area are great, plenty of food choices, regular transportation to the parks, rooms...

'OHANA means CHUNKY! An Aug 2017 Family TR THE END 4/26 - The Last Day and Trip Epilogue!

Joining rather late, but I'm here! I haven't followed a trip report in years, but we have APs this year and I'm doing all my Disney studying! Love your family and your writing style :)

    Thanksgiving: WCC or HBD

Whispering Canyon Cafe at 12:45 is my preferred time of day (we like a Thanksgiving lunch) and located close to MK where we will be that morning. Also, it's all you can eat and we have 2 teenage boys in our group. However, WCC can be loud and I saw that in past years it was $40 per person...
