    Friends of Bill W.

I've gone with a friend who had this same question. He used to go to a church over in Celebration, FL because we couldn't find any Disney property. I wish I knew the church's name, but I don't—best of luck with your search.

When are you Going? Post Your Dates and Find A Match!!! Things to do! Peeps to Meet!

Hey Folks, I doubt anyone will take me up on this, but I'll toss it out there anyway. I will be at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek from May 16 - May 21 (5 nights) in a two-bedroom condo. The second bedroom was going to a cousin, who is no longer coming. It will be vacant if anyone needs a place to...

Adults and Solo Trips Central ** Updated 5/8/07

I'll be solo from November 1st through December 6th, staying at Fort Wilderness Campground. I've met several people to explore the parks and dine with, but not since the Park Reservation system has gone into effect. If you are going to be there these dates and want to meet-up, let me know and I...

I’m new here but I want to know any good tips and ideas for a first tile solo Disney visit

KC, I have not been since the pandemic started, so it's a little harder to give you useful tips. I am heading down in a little more than a week and might be able to help you out after my trip. For planning, you should figure out which parks you want to visit and in what order. I think the...

    Booked my first solo trip

Congrats on taking your first solo trip! I did not start doing solo until 2016 and have not looked back. Don't get me wrong, I like people, but there is something to be said for getting up in the morning and not having to follow a schedule with someone else. I have also met some wonderful folks...

That's a Halloween Party night. There will still be fireworks, just not Happily Ever After. I like to watch from the grass at GF.

    Dining with an Imagineer

I did it in April and had lunch at the Brown Derby with Laura Alletag, a Project Manager, Sr. Laura is currently overseeing Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Train at HS. Before that, she was the Project Manager for the Toy Story Mania expansion. Learned a ton about how projects come about to being...

Is the Not-So-Scary-Haloween-Party worth it for a solo trip.

I did it solo and had a blast. Getting pics with Jack and Sally was my favorite part. There were no lines; you get on Fast Pass line and however long it takes you to get to the loading area is about how long you are in line. I also went to all the trick or treat stations and had more than enough...

    Splitting costs with family

Are you getting a two room condo? If that's the case and each "party" has there own room then splitting it, 50/50 isn't unrealistic. I don't know, I usually get an RV spot at FW and tell everyone they can come and pitch a tent without having to pay anything for the campsite. Every family is...

    Animal Kingdom Rope Drop Strategy?

Ride FOP as many times as you can, so that is where I would head first! Everest has a single rider line, and I have never waited more than 15 minutes for it. Dinosaur is hit and miss but is usually not too bad all day.

    Solo & Dining

I have done a lot of solo dining and have never once been rushed or felt like the waitstaff was upset that I was taking up a table for two. If they ever did I would ignore it and do what I want anyway!
