Very intense!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait. We watched Walt:the Man behind the Myth last night & my DH had to keep saying calm down because I kept pointing & saying.......we get to see that, we get to see that.
Don't feel bad Melissa........you must have missed it. A while back we had to cut off the San Diego portion because of DH's work. He needed to be at work today for at least part of the day so we changed it & are going straight to LA today. The ABD part of the trip starts tomorrow afternoon.I just re-read the first page of your TR.. I feel like such a sleezeball for not getting my SD TR up before you leave! Darn that TWILIGHT!!!
It's too late now to discuss and plot your SD portion with you. DARN IT! I have at least one good tip on a restaraunt there. Darn! Well, I think I may have gotten that in my TR now that I think of it. It was a restaraunt called, "The Bali Hai" It served my purpose as the "Polynesian rest" that I will never get to eat at WDW.But IMHO the view was WAY Better!

Well, I guess you can tell by the fact that I am posting. We are here!!!!!!
We arrived at LAX around 9pm Cali time last night. The flights weren't too bad. We had a very nice driver that picked us up & took us to the Renaissance. We couldn't see alot because it was dark so I didn't get silly & take pictures as we drove along Melrose, Sunset, etc. We did go out walking around abit last night to stretch our legs, but most everything was already closed & we were really tired as by this time it was around 1am to our bodies. We have a very nice room & this morning discovered onced it started to get light that we can see the famous Hollywood sign from our room!!!!!!!!!!!!! We woke up around 6am Cali time & I am going out poking around the hotel to take some pictures & then we will come back & get ready for our day of exploring. We have rented a car from Hertz right here in the hotel. Wish us luck & I hope we don't get lost. I might try & post a picture or two later today if there is time. The Adventures by Disney part of the trip starts around 4pm today with a welcome reception & dinner.

Tammie thanks for your concern...yes, we figured out that parts of the area are sketchy. It is 8pm Cali time & we are back in the room. It's been a full day & we decided to rest this evening after dinner & an ice cream at the Disney Soda shop.I'm glad you're there safely! Have a wonderful day! But OMG Melanie, don't walk around Hollywood late at night! Seriously. DHs uncle is our age - grew up in LA - we went there mid afternoon, but after 10pm we are out of there! It aint DL!

They are the best friends ever. She is missing us. DH's Mom said she went to our bed & got in at 9:45 last night. Like well Mom & Dad aren't here might as well go to bed. Hurray for Hollywood.......that screwy ballyhooey Hollywood.
