Be Our Guest Breakfast - How Was It?

Has anyone been able to confirm where the CMs make you go after you eat assuming the park hasn't opened yet? I booked an 8am and was hoping to wander/head to a ride after. Sounds like that may not be possible.
I asked that questions to a few CM last Friday... They could not give me an answer. MK opens at 8am during some of the busy Spring Break season... I guess we will see when it opens at 9am! I am thinking people will be able to wander... I can't see them holding people at the restaurant.. Or escorting them back to the entrance....

I believe it was KennyThePirate who reported on Sunday when there was an 9am park opening that they didn't hold you in the Restaraunt but you couldn't wander either. You apparently go to the closest "rope". I'm keen on understanding where these ropes are located - maybe before Enchanted Tales of Belle on one side and before Gaston's Tavern on the other (just my guess). Also, I would like to know when they open these ropes - at rope drop time which is generally 10-15 min before posted park opening time or do they wait until they see the rope drop folks come up from the entrance?

It's interesting because while they want to keep people back from lining up for the attractions and walking around too early, they also have the flow of people who are coming in for their reservation.

Can't wait to hear from @PixieJenna later today. Maybe she can answer done of these specific questions.

If the park opens at 8am, and you have an early morning ADR for Be Our Guest, what time do they start letting you in the park? If it's before 8am, how early should your ressie be in order to get let in before the 8am opening? (That is, will the front gate verify your ressie before letting you pass?).

I ask because I love the empty main street PhotoPass pictures.

So a table of two will receive the same amount of pastries in the basket as a table of four?

I too am interested in what time to be at the park entrance for an 8:00 ADR at BOG. I would think that an 8:00 reservation means that you should be at the restaurant by 8:00, and I figure a slow 10 minute walk (with my camera ready) to get there. For me those early morning photos are what gives the value to the breakfast.

No I don't believe so - I believe the plates of pastries are correlated to group size according to what I saw Tuesday on the various tables. That said, you can ask for more of what you want.

I just came back from my Disney trip (which was excellent) and had breakfast at BOG on March 23rd at 8 am. To me it was worth it and a wonderful experience. I had rented a car for the week and had looked online ahead of time to find out that the resort monorail runs at 7am so we took it to the Magic Kingdom. It was raining and we were running a little late so arrived at the front gate of the Magic Kingdom by 8. I was excited to be let into the park to walk down Main Street without crowds. But with the rain we didn't take as many photos as we'd liked. We got to the restaurant and someone out front scanned my magic band and then we were let in to go order our food. We were told we could sit anywhere we wanted and since we were some of the first people in, it was pretty empty so had a table in the back by the snow so we could look out at the beautiful restaurant. My mother and I both ordered the scrambled egg whites and loved it. The plate of pastries on the table, we split so we could try them all. $20 is a little pricy as I see some people say but for the two of us, we felt it was fine because along with the good food, we were in the park early, in the restaurant early and allowed to take pictures of both without tons of people. The whole experience of it was wonderful. Our food tasted real fresh. We were done breakfast in about 45 minutes but took advantage of no big crowds and walked around to get some great photos. I would do this again in a second. Hope my review helps someone.

Thanks for the report! We will be driving to the MK as well if we decide to do breakfast at BOG at 8:00. How long did it take you to get from the MK parking lot to the front gate? I'm curious as to about how long this will take using the resort monorail.

It probably took about 25 minutes to get from the parking lot to the front of the Magic Kingdom. I had hoped to be there even sooner than 8 am but there was an accident on the way to the monorail that held us up. If you can get to the park earlier than your breakfast time, do it. They were letting people in and I'd wish we hadn't had that unexpected traffic. Even though it was raining, it would have been nice if we had more time to walk back to BOG but we were rushing.

I had the 8:05 am ADR today. I was really excited to try it. Now, that BOG has pre-rope drop ADRs, there has to be at least 3x the people that there usually is! It is so much different now when it was just the two restaurants!

We got there right around 7:55 and checked our names in and went through the gates. Still had great opportunities for pictures! The lady said we had thirty minutes to get to BOG. Obviously, we went right there but I thought that was an interesting fact.

Unfortunately, we waited for our food for thirty minutes... So we had to rush to eat. We book breakfast basically just to be in the park before rope drop. We rushed out right when the rope was dropped. I wish I had more information for you guys! But I have to say they were lenient over there and let you take pictures in front of the carousel or any where over there!

From 3/29 to 4/10, BOG is now serving breakfast starting at 7:30!!!! All other days appear to still be starting at 8am. There is currently availability for these times on the website and app.

I don't know if this is just because of higher crowd levels due to Easter and spring break or maybe (hopefully) they are going to open it up earlier across the board.

Also curious as to how early they let you in if you have an 8ish ADR and the park also opens at 8. My dad finally got us one tonight for 8:05!!!!! I have seriously never been so excited to wake up stupidly early on vacation lol.
I might try to book one for a day that doesn't have EMHs but I will take what I can get!

They must have opened up more times today because I checked for a june time this morning and got nada but tonight my dad found one time for the days we were wanting.

I hope you realized that MK has an early EMH on these days that opens the park at 7:00 a.m., so breakfast at 7:30 will be during OPEN hours.

Thanks, @sharonabe. I did note the early park opening. I was just trying to pass the info along since this was a new time and added availability for anyone who wasn't successful in getting a reservation previously. And, I was hope that 7:30 became an opening time permanently. Maybe wishful thinking but this is the place where wishes come true ;)

Has anyone heard if kids over 10 are able to order the kid's breakfast because my kids would probably not eat any of these items! But I think several look very yummy!!
Why not just switch with them after it gets to the table? :-)
