Once the parade ended the amount of people trapped behind us wanting to just leave the park came pouring out behind us. Being to engrossed in the parade I didn’t even realize everyone but trying to grab all our candy bags with people hopping over us was something I did realize.
There was only 5 minutes left to the party so like everyone else, we made our way to the exit

We had to make the trek back to the contemporary to get Alicia’s car, then it was back to the Yacht club for us. Once arriving we soon realized the awful parking this resort has, it basically had about 20 parking spots for guests and then it was “looks like you have to pay for valet parking or park over at the Beach club” None of those would be working for us so we found a nice tight spot for Alicia to show off her paralleling parking.
Once back at the room we took no time all jumping into our onesies. Alicia and I kept the Lilo and Stitch theme going on with our stitch and Scrump onesies while Erin had her Jack Skellington one.
And since we didn’t want to wait to meet Jack we set up a special meet with him

Tonight we did more masks that were suppose to give us some energy because thats what we need when on a Disney vacation

Our night ended with us having heart to heart talks and laughing until 2am.
Tomorrow would be filled with more storm along, one of my favorite meals on Disney property and MORE CANDY BECAUSE MNSSHP ROUND 2!​

Thank you. It's the biggest struggle for me to get good photos during nighttime parades.
Round 2 will have new and what I think better costumes, since we just threw our costumes together last minute for our first party

Dining With Animals

Today was sort of a lazy morning. I slept woke up around 8:30 and laid there being bored because the other two decided to sleep the day morning away. After a good 45 minutes of boredom and wanted to do something we all got some breakfast and then headed to the pool. But first after a moment of panicking about losing my GoPro I had to make a quick trip to Alicia’s car. Luckily it was there with my second bag of candy I forgot to bring in from the previous night.
On our way through the parking lot we found a prime spot so Erin decided she was going to stand in it while we moved the car.

Another beautiful morning for another great morning spent in the pool.
We made a bit of lifeguard friends today. We first started in the lazy river section because for me its easier to sit on a raft and start to get use to the water instead of jumping right on into the brisk water.

The first lifeguard “yelled” at us because we made Erin get all of the floatation devices. After awhile floating is boring and you have to just dive right in. Well not for Alicia, we went around maybe 3 times before another lifeguard told me he would give me $10 if I pushed her in.
It didn’t last long until we found ourselves going to the sand bottom pool. Honestly I didn’t think I would love this part as much as I do.

But Erin’s love for it was so much more

We were just enjoying the sand, water and sun when a child came swimming in-between us. It would have been ok if she was just passing through but she didn’t. She stopped in the middle of us and just starred into Alicia’s soul for a good amount of time before she went swimming off.
Unlike yesterday were we stayed in the pool practically all day today we had to cute our fun short because we had some lunch plans

Before we left for the day we decided to grab the last amount of sun we could get

Alicia wasn’t going to the party with us tonight so she was trying to figure out of to cheat the system if her friend and her son came to the resort to swim. So Erin decided to run to the slide to get a wristband for the boy if he came tonight and then I would just leave my magic band behind. (apparently they never came so all that work for nothing)
We went back to the room, got ready and headed off to AKL.
Being shotgun I got the job of being the car DJ and why not put on some high school musical that the children yesterday at trivia had no clue what it was.
Today we were eating at Sanaa, basically one of my favorite places to eat ever! Bread service and Butter Chicken!!! Its the best. Plus I love how its still one of those restaurants that you don’t need a ADR because we didn’t make one and were seated right away.
Today we started off our meal with the full bread service

and for my main entree I got double butter chicken because in my opinion its the best. Alicia also went with double butter while Erin went with the steak.

Overall the meal was a win in my book and I will always come back.
Erin has never been to AKL so of course we had to take her to see the animals

Our fun came to an end when it started sprinkling out. so we took this time to leave and head back to the resort to start getting ready for our second party!

Away We Go, It's A MNSSHP

As we headed back to the Yacht we put on the Hamilton Soundtrack AKA Helpless and Satisfied because those are mine and Alicia’s favorites. So sorry to Erin who had no clue what these songs were, but it was good for her because she is now becoming a fan of the musical. Slowly but surely.
Of course by the time we got back all the parking was spots were taken and it was awful. We asked the valet CM what we should do. She told us that we would have to park at the Beach Club or we could ask for free Valet, however she didn’t know if the last one would work, it was more of a suggestion. We took suggestion to the front desk where they agreed to do it for us.
Erin and I had some work to do before we left, although our costumes we basically done, there was still a few things we needed to do. We did some extra sewing, painting, and hot gluing hoping our costumes would last the night ahead of us.
Alicia was at the pool and met up with us in the lobby to take a photo of us.
So Away We Go, It’s a Festival Of Fantasy!

Once Alicia took a good amount of the same photos a girl came up to Erin and goes “Who are you?” The girl thought we were a special meet and greet at the resort. That was super awkward.
Then it was off to Magic Kingdom we go. We met a family who was going to their first ever party and I gave them an ear full of tips on the way to the park. From the sounds of it they didn’t do much research and when we told them it was our second party they thought we were crazy. Until we told them you can’t get everything done in just one party.
When we got to the Magic Kingdom I was the lucky one who was randomly selected for the metal detector…I warned them a head of time that my skirt was basically all wire and they all got a kick out of me trying to fit through the scanner.
We were the first people to arrive and we waited the half hour till we could get into the park. I’m not really sure why we left so early? We just got ready early and didn’t want to sit around.

Once 4 o'clock hit, we were in, got our wristbands and headed straight for our trick or treat bags.
And when I say we were the first ones I mean we were the first ones.

Before we even made it to the starting bag of goodies a manager stopped us and asked he could take a picture of our costumes because he had never seen anyone do them before. We gladly gave him permission, got our candy and booked it to the Jack and Sally line. We watched a bing bong sprinting for the line in front of us. After trailing behind bing bong we found the short line and became the third group to wait.
The 2 parties in front of us new each other from Instagram, Apparently the kid who was first is big on instagram and bing bong lady recognized him and wanted to collaborate with him because apparently she had her own blog.
The hour wait was something that wasn’t all that fun but knowing we wouldn’t be wasting precious party time made it worth it. During that wait I had a person that I did the DCP with message me on Facebook asking where I got my costume. When I told them I made them, I was asked if I was willing to sell them…sorry bro.

5 o'clock rolled around and it was time to get the party started early.
The Character attendant was kind enough to take our bags for us and she was even kinder to drop my bag to the ground. I’m pretty sure I winced a lot because if I opened that bag up to find my brother in law’s camera broken I would be murdered (thankfully it wasn’t)

Before we left I had Jack and Sally make a birthday video for my best friend who was turning 3 on halloween. (I’ve literally spent the whole year telling her mom to take her to Disney, and now her mom just tells me I can take her whenever I want)

After meeting Jack and Sally we found ourselves at the Tangled bathroom.

We were in need of some dinner so we went back to the only place I think I only ever eat at with Erin, Pinocchio’s. It was deserted and Victor (who we became “friends” with) was stuck handing out menus. Once we saw each other his mouth dropped and he basically screamed “OH MY GOSH FOF!!!!” Then proceeded to get everyone in the back’s attention and they all stood at the counter looking at us. I wish I was just making up this situation we were in because I felt so awkward…and all I wanted was some chicken nuggets.
Then Victor proceeded to ask the back what he could give us for free and we got some chocolate cake and mickey straws, just because of our costume.

The CMs went back to work and I got my nugget child meal with a side salad and we got a table by It’s a Small World

Our newly made friendship with Victor didn’t end there. Not long after finding a seat he found us and this time brought his friend Justin over. He went on about how he wanted to do more for us because he just loved our costumes. That’s when Justin started writing out a no strings attached for us. And with one fastpass choice we ended up going with mine train.

After they gave it to us they sort of just hung out for a bit and talked and talked and talked. But I didn’t mind because if you can hold a conversation with me about Disney news and could take for hours. However our new friends had to get back to work and my nuggets were getting cold.
But not so fast to eating Sam because next thing I new Alex, the cutest older CM came over to us because they were having a bingo sort of game going on for the CMs and he wanted to know what our favorite attraction was. If had the basic favorite rides with a few under rated attractions so of course I had to go with Carousel of Progress.
Finally we had no more CMs coming over to us and we were free too eat.

Hiding Puppies Under Our Skirts

After our meal we decided to us our fastpass for Mine Train right away. It was time to see how difficult it would be for me to try going on rides with my ridiculous hoop skirt. I was worried about nothing because the wiring was the best idea because I could bend it to fit and then bend it back to shape afterwards.

Afterwards we headed over to storybook circus where we walked around and found the line for the seven dwarves. It wasn’t on my list of things to do nor was I really interested in it. But Erin liked the idea, the line wasn’t all that long and the party had yet to start. So we jumped in line.
They came out at 6:15 and we met them by 6:45 so overall not all that bad.

Cruella was on our list of characters we wanted to meet and luckily for us she was also meeting in Storybook Circus. So once we got out of the dwarf line we jumped into cruella’s. Thats when the rain started, it wasn’t horrible just a light sprinkle and thank goodness it was only a 5 second sprinkle. When the party started Cruella came out to party.
She told us that we had the perfect skirts to hid puppies under but she wanted to know about how many puppies we could fit.

With it after 7 that only means one thing….CANDY! And what a nice coincidence that Pete’s sideshow was right there waiting for us to get candy. After 2 rounds there we left storybook circus

We headed to the other side of the park, stopping by candy stops along the way until we made it to the haunted mansion. There we saw one of my favorite parts of MNSSHP Madame Carlotta. And since we were at the haunted mansion why wouldn’t we go on the haunted mansion?

Next up it was off to frontierland. We had to fight through the Boo to You crowds but eventually we made it to Splash Mountain. Why splash mountain? Because its our favorite and we couldn’t go to MK without going on it. But that last drop got us good and we had to fix ourselves up.

I was ready to get more candy so we ran all around Adventureland. We contemplated getting in line for Jack Sparrow but the need of meeting him wasn’t something that won. Instead we bypassed him and headed to Main Street. I was still looking for my churro popcorn so we headed to the emporium in hopes of it being there. I somehow lost Erin in a very dead emporium and before I could even make it to the popcorn I was stopped. There were 3 CMs who wanted to stop and talk about my costume and all I wanted was to get some churro popcorn, the struggle that is my life. I wasn’t brought up a snob so of course I stopped to talk and then I found my popcorn and Erin. Since I made some new friends I checked out with them, while I had to listen to them argue about who was going to make us some special buttons.

We still had a few minutes until Hallowishes so we headed across the way to grab a snack at starbucks. I went with my basic Chai Tea Latte and a special MNSSHP sugar cookie, which was so good.

We made ourselves comfortable on the curb of Main street and waited for Hallowishes.

Celebrate the Magic did it’s thing and then I made my way out into the very open Main street to claim my spot for my favorite fireworks

Thank you. Halloween time at Disney is the best time I absolutely love it! I'm glad I could convince you to go to a halloween party. They are super fun! Plus seeing everyone in costume makes it better than the christmas party, buts thats just my opinion.

Thank you! I actually am not a sewer. For my costume I was able to find a red skirt for like $3 and just added white panels that my mother was kind enough to sew in. And with Erin's skirt I have mastered tacking, so I just tacked tool to a white skirt she had. So its mostly all about finding pieces at thrift shops and build a costume from there.

Happy happy Halloween!

After hallowishes we headed to tomorrowland in the sole purpose of going to ride Space Mountain before the end of the party. But the people Erin and I are, we couldn’t just walk past the orange treat blow up and not get in line. Honestly how excited I got every time we saw one was so childish that I would literally just scream CANDY! Who would have thought “free” candy would give so much joy to a person.

With almost completing a second bag of candy we ran to Space because it was almost time for Boo To You. So with one kick spin around outer space we were back at getting candy

At 11 we headed back to Main Street at the end of the parade route because we learned from the night before that this spot is great and you don’t have to wait 30-an hour before the parade and have people come and push into your space 5 minutes before parade time. There is actually so much room that we could just lay back and relax

We didn’t wait long until the creeper crew came out, however this time they forgot to give out the suckers…rude

Then we soon heard the “boo to you, boo boo boo boo boo…” start in the distance and although it was my third time seeing it this trip I got so excited. Probably more excited than my excitement for the candy trails.

Once the parade ended the party was about to end. We headed to main street one last time to get one last photo together.

Then it was goodbye magic kingdom see ya soon!
But no Disney trip is ever complete without having to run to your bus stop because the bus is waiting and is more than likely ready to leave at anytime. Thankfully we made it and when we got closer to the yacht I texted alish because we gave her our magic bands for pool access so we had no way of getting into the room.
I never heard from here and when we got to our room I had a feeling she passed out and we would be stuck outside our room all night. Luckily that didn’t happen, she was just in fighting mode with China. Her struggle was figuring out if she should make the trip to Shanghai to visit her boyfriend who would be at work the whole time she was there…well spoiler alert, she ended up going. I knew she would so I decided to go to sleep, because I’m just that nice of a sister plus running around for candy took a lot out of me.
Tomorrow was our last day and we planned on spending our morning at Epcot.

Reunited And It Feels So Good

Our last day called for a somewhat early morning, we were moving and packed by 8ish. We needed to check our luggage and get our magical express for this afternoon. Luggage is always easy, I never called to get our magical express to take us back but that was super easy do to at the front desk. We headed back to our room to get Alicia and our carry ons then we headed down to the gift shop because we needed some merchandise that said Yacht Club.
Real friends buy matching jackets…although we both said wearing it probably won't happen often because its white.

Alicia was kind enough to use her discount on us, we threw them in our carry ons, put our carry ons in storage and got Alicia’s car from the valet. We decided to park over at the Beach Club that way Alicia didn’t have a farther walk to get her car before she had to go to work.
Once we found parking it started to rain but no a downpour just that awful misty cold rain, just lovely enough for us to walk to Epcot in.

We took a nice walk through Beach Club and got to the International gateway just to find out that Alicia forgot her guest passes. So we turned back around and made the walk back to her car where it was in her work bag and headed back to Epcot. A nice little morning stroll. Once back at the entrance, one of the passes didn’t work. This always seems to happen to us, the CM was rude but the guest relations CM helped us out and got her card working again.
I love the idea of the international gateway, the only thing for us was that the world showcase wasn’t open yet so we had to make the trek to future world. But on a plus side…happy food and wine festival!

Epcot was a happening place today, everything had a long wait. Living with the Land had a not normal wait but we got in line anyways. Then we got the “we are currently down” message but since we didn’t have a plan we decided to wait it out. More and more people got out of line and overall we didn’t wait in long for very long.
No more alligators…

After Living With The Land we headed over to my childhood favorite. Erin has never experienced figment and on our last trip the wait was way out of control. So we were smart and I got us a fastpass. Overall I believe figment went good in Erin’s book.
Afterwards we were back to wondering around not knowing what to do. But thats when Alicia told me Bae was working today and we headed straight for Morocco. We had to book it around the world showcase because we didn’t want to be cut off for Aladdin and Jasmine.
And before we even hopped in line Alicia had to check to see Jasmine and Aladdin to make sure she wanted to meet them….
The wait was worth it because I got to see bae after 2 long years. Aladdin threw in the “when are you going to move back so you can hang out in the market place with us” Excuse me while I pack my bags and start a new life in florida. Then right before we took a group photo he whispered over “I saw you yesterday” aka how many times did we see Boo to You the past 2 days? But when he said it I died…me and aladdin are like best friends!

After meeting Aladdin and Jasmine we decided to walk around the world and see if we wanted anything from the food and wine booths. The crowds were too much for me and the sun decided to come out so it was getting really toasty. Erin decided to stop at Italy and get Pennete Alla Parmigiana, baked ziti and chicken parm.

Food and wine doesn’t do much for me because school bread always trumps all. Plus I get more for my money and who doesn’t like that. So after Italy we headed straight to Norway, past by so many people with #drinkdrankdunk / obnoxious shirts, and I was soon reunited with my all time favorite disney snack

See Ya Real Soon!

There were so many people and it was hot out that Alicia decided that she was going to call it a day and head off to work. So we once again walked around the showcase back to the international gateway to send her off.

Then me and Erin headed back into the sea of people eating and drinking to get to future world.

As we passed the refreshment port I decided to treat myself and get a rum dole whip

We had fastpasses for Soarin but still had time to kill once getting to future world so with that being said we went for some AC in Mouse Gears. I had no intention of getting anything but there I was picking out more weird flavored popcorn making me think I was in Tokyo Disney, and today the winner was Parmesan Garlic. It was ok, the churro popcorn is just so much better.

Then we were off to soar around the world.

“We’re clear for takeoff” I love the new show and it just makes me want to travel that much more. Plus the smells this time around…like how do they do it?! That’s some Disney magic.
Afterwards we decided to head back to the resort. Epcot was to busy for us and we did basically everything we wanted to do/could do before we had to catch our bus.
On our way out Erin stopped and got some popcorn for the walk back to the Yacht.

And although I only had a few hours left I knew it would only be a few short months till I would be back and staying on the other side of crescent lake.

We got back to the resort a lot earlier than we had originally planned and we kind of mad that we didn’t leave a suit in our carry ons so we could go to storm along one last time. The only thing we could do was go sit on the side of the pool and put our feet in…it was sad and when it’s 86 degrees its just a tease.

We lasted approximately 5 minutes before we ran to the gift shop. The only thing we could do was buy new swimsuits in this time of need. The CM working at the counter was taking her sweet time, “Theres no need to rush, your on vacation” if only she knew we had about an hour until the tragical express was getting us. We ran threw the halls of the yacht club sporting our expensive disney swimwear that I will probably only ever wear at that moment.

The half hour spent at storm along was so worth it and was the best way to end this trip.

We ended up leaving the pool area around 3:15, got changed, got our bags out of storage and hung out around the lobby until it was time to leave.

“Did someone say adventure? Well Adventure it is”

Fetchingly draped one last time

The tragical express came to get us at 3:40 and it was goodbye yacht club. And before we left the bus driver said he only allows Sleepy and happy’s on his bus, no grumpys. Good thing I was ready for a nap. Like always Erin did her best with the Trivia and every time she got one right she would go “Are you proud of me Sam? I’m getting better”

Once we got to the airport I was about to hop on the Disney cruise line bus because who needs to go back to reality when you could go on a disney cruise?

Then comes the boring part of every trip report…the ending, the part when there is no more reading about disney.
So we will make it short and sweet.
Before leaving Florida I needed to get my chickfila and Erin got Moes

We went to the earport, went through security and found our gate.
The best part is when you find out the flight isn’t full and you get to spread out a bit.
So that makes it perfect for sleeping, which I did for basically the whole flight home. Then I woke up to Erin having beef with her burrito….

We made it home safely and that my friends is how our trip ended.


This trip was perfect. I was finally able to stay at the Yacht Club, which has been on the top of my list. I am beyond happy that we were able to go to 2 halloween parties to hold me over until next year.
Although one Disney trip has come to an end, we have another one to look forward.
Disney I’m coming back for you…January 2017!!!!​
