Mine isn't too bad , nothing on the floor , table could do with sorting out
Hmm, let’s see. Dd16 and ds16 are finishing up the school year, and are both on two soccer teams so their bags are always out. Dd18 has a severe case of senioritis and is only home to shower and dump stuff and sleep, just got home from prom weekend. We are accumulating her college stuff in the dining room, including ikea bags and a large wooden desk hutch I bought on a Facebook page. Ds20 has an internship in NYC and is moving from one house to another at college, so his stuff is in the dining room. His high school friends are all home from college, and apparently the nightly party spot is at his friend’s 5 houses away, so he’s never home. He also works weekends managing the local garden center where he’s worked for 6 years. Dd22 is living at home temporarily after being away for 2 1/2 years, her stuff is also in the dining room. She moved into dd18’s bedroom, there is no room for her clothes. My father passed away in December, his large house in under contract, we had to completely empty the house for stagers, so I have tons of photos, albums, framed pictures, etc., in my dining room, plus all of his papers. I’m drowning.
The laundry thing, I can wash and dry all day( ok I do it at), but I have DD put her and dgd stuff away.
I actually find cleaning therapeutic. If I am really stressed I go all deep cleaning lol.
