We go at the same time as A Small World ~ definitely worth it as the characters will spend ages with you and you'll be first ones at the food!!

I have decided to book it too for our October trip. It will be my parents 1st Disney trip and 1st character meal (for their 40th anniversary!!)

I dined here last Sunday and it was the best meal we had during our visit to Disney. We can't wait to retunr her in October!!

We had to wait for a while for our table even though we had booked it as it was so busy. We used our half board plus vouchers towards the meal - it was €49 and we were allowed € 25 towards it and paid the difference.

The buffet was wonderful and I can't remember everything that was on it but I know on my plate for starters I had Prawns, smoked salmon, parma ham, melon, asstd salads, and my mate had pork pie and pate.

For my main I had Roast Pork, Duck in an orange sauce, mashed potato, rissotto, asstd vegetables and a smiley face!!

For dessert I had creme caramel, rice pudding, floating Islands with creme anglais and some fruit salad. There were lots of cream cakes and pancakes which my mate had. I noticed that there were also ice lollies for the children.

Whilst we were eating Eyore, tigger, a penguin from Mary Poppins and a character from Robin Hood - think it could have been Friar Tuck? - paid us a visit and to be honest although the food was lovely I did think at that time we hadn't had much of a character interaction as we kept seeing other characters in the other rooms and we didn't seem to get those ones in our room!!

This all changed when Eyore paid us another visit to our room! He was in our room for about 45 mins this time around, I guess he liked our room so much he suddenly started dancing away, inviting the children to take part! After that he was trying to see what part of the room could cheer the loudest and his minder just kept taping her watch at the doorway and Eyore just turned his back on her shaking his head!! It was so funny! Our room was making so much noise that the partition doors to the California Grill opened and we presume this Restaurant Manager walked up to eyore and started shaking his head and tapped on his watch as well, Eyore just brought his hands up and everyone just booed this restaurant manager back out again!! Eyore was really the star of the show and there were alot of Spanish people in the room who suddenly starting shout 'olay' and Eyore started dancing around like a bullfighter, I was laughing so much I had tears streaming down my face, it is at this moment in time you wish you had a video camera to have captured the experience!!

The fodd was wonderful, the character interaction superb and I will be booking this restaurant again next time we go, although Ithink we will book an earlier time!!

Although not a vegetarian I'm not a big meat eater at all.

Is inventions still a good choice considering I don't enjoy roast meat/duck etc?

Definitely- there are loads of options available. Do you like seafood? there is a massive table full of it. Not to mention the desserts

We go back to Inventions everytime we go, we love it that much (even though we get our shareholders discount it is still a very good price for what you get).

The characters give you so much more time 1 to 1. Not like the tea party at Plaza which is a waste of time and money.

Last year we had the pleasure of eating there on both trips (sept and aug) and happened to have the same waiter, he was fabulous.

The food is beyond belief - have you ever seen a plate of prawns that big. Yes the choices for the little ones is limited but then we Brits tend to give our kids chicken nuggets and chips. I on the other hand dont and my 2 year old DD is more than happy to eat what we give her from our plate (the waiter even bought over a small plate for her!)

Its an all you can eat buffet, the vast range of food catering for all tastes cannot be got anywhere else in the park.

Definately worth a visit in my opinion!!!!

OK, so i really cant decide whether or not to eat here, is it really worth 49 euros???? We're not that fussed about the characters but it would be nice to eat in the DLH so i'm not sure.

We definitely think it is as the food is much better quality than other places and there is so much choice. Im in the middle of writing another report from our recent trip with loads of piccies

We ate here for the 2nd time in July for our wedding anniversary. The food was once again absolutely delicious with loads of choice. We were the first to go in and were shown to our table and told about the buffet and were shown the roses that the chefs had been learning how to carve out of apples for the first time.

We had a seat in the big room right in the centre under the mirrored ceiling.

We hadn’t even got our first course before the first character came in – Captain Hook followed soon after by Tigger.
DH and I chose a selection of Stuffed vine leaves, asparagus tips, smoked salmon, parma ham and various other things to start with.

DD had some ham, melon and nachos.
DH then had a plate of seafood while I had some salads including couscous with prawns.
For mains we had a selection of meats and potatoes – the lamb was absolutely delicious – not sure what kind of sauce it was in but it was so tender.

DD had the chicken strips –big pieces of proper chicken breast in breadcrumbs with smiley faces and spaghetti bolognaise.

It was a bit disappointing that there was no chocolate fountain as I thought this was something that was always there but there were so many other things to choose from.
The characters kept coming through the meal and as well as Captain Hook and Tigger we also saw Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Chip and Dale and Pluto.

Again an excellent meal and we would definitely go back here again.

Fantastic review Small World!! The starters and desserts look totally to die for!!!

I was totally sold on it, but Robert didn't seem impressed..... He is an awkward person sometimes!!!

It obviously changes all the time but there were lots of meat choices in different sauces, (when we went at Easter there was quail), one meat which they carve there without a sauce, a fish dish, at least one vegetarian dish (think its been Lasgne both times we've been), pizza, mini burgers in buns, chicken strips, spaghetti bolognaise, potatoes (the mash is delicious), other potatoes, veg ... probably loads more Ive forgotten about
