i am buying DH a heated bidet toilet seat. I got a $2000+ seat for $550...gotta love ebay.

I didn't think Bidets had seats - I don't recall seeing seats on the ones in Europe. I'd love instructions on how to use on properly. I sprayed water all over the bathroom when DH & I were in Venice.

Anyhow... I am getting DH a body fat scale. And if anyone has recommendations on brands I'd love to know.

We're moving to a house 1/2 the size of what we have now. My parents are moving also to about the same size house. My parents don't have a nice dining room set, we have a beautiful set but it won't fit in the new house. Yep, we're giving my parents our dining room set for Christmas!

Cost effective and everyone is very happy. :thumbsup2

The oddest gift I am giving is 3 WOOT! Monkeys to my younger brother. Along with a gift card.

Seriously? LOL! We're renovating our vacation house and I so want to put in a bidet toilet seat! :thumbsup2

."

yes, seriously. it's what he wants. I wanted the Brondell Swash but didn't think it would fit our stupid kohler toilets...so we had to get a kohler seat.

I think the seat WITH the bidet is wonderful...who wants to sit on cold porcelain???

My husband asked for a projection alarm clock.

It is a clock....but it projects onto the wall. I'm curious enough that I may actually buy it. However, in practice..it may end up disappearing.:rolleyes1

Where do you live? I have one new in the box and on it's way to goodwill. Sales rep gave it to DH at work.

My nearly six year old is only asking Santa for ice skates this year.

It's not like we live in Florida or anything. Or that she's never been ice skating before that worries me. She wants to be an Olympic Ice Skater, and it's the ONLY thing she wants. I've been ice skating once, when I was seven. I don't even know where to start ... lol

I lived in Florida until recently. They have ice skating rinks. :) The lessons are pricey though and the rink may not be in your back yard. We live in Virginia now and the closest rink is about the same distance if not farther than the last one. Unfortunately it collapsed from the blizzards earlier this year--so our old home has something near it that our new home does not. Weird.

What if you were to find a local rink and pay for beginner lessons instead. Then if you does like it-get her skates NEXT year.

Here is a rink in Brandon: http://www.theicesportsforum.com/

They are mid session, but you can do a trial drop in class for $20 and new sessions would start in Feb/Mar since there current session ends Feb 8. Skate rental is included in the class (but clearly not on your own). 8 weeks is $149. http://www.theicesportsforum.com/learn_to_skate.pdf

You know there are places she can go to try it here in FL...In Lakeland, they do a public skate all the time at the Lakeland Center...might be a good thing for her to "try"

Not unusual to most but to me it is. DS (18) asked for a Pea Coat!! He has gone thru a major transformation (for the better) and has even changed his style of clothing!! I went out shoppng for one the moment he asked. :thumbsup2

Oh believe me ... I know. She talks about it allllll the time. LOL. I just don't know how ... so the two of us on the ice scares me silly. I was thinking about taking her skating for her birthday, which is the week after Christmas. She just surprised me with this Santa gift ...

Downtown Tampa has an outdoor rink this year ... it's only $10 for the session including skates ... I just need a friend who knows how to help support the two of us.

Thanks for your help though ladies! She also wants to be an Olympic diver ... I understand the water at least, lol

I actually have one of those!! The house came with it (previous owner had it installed) and we didn't notice it until after settlement. It was funny because both my DH and I were afraid to actually use the bidet for several weeks. We finally got up the courage and used it...and didn't like it. We've had it unplugged for 2.5 years now.:rotfl:

Your town is listed as Brandon. The Ice sports forum is right there off of 75.

I have a sonic screwdriver as a must have on my list.....and would cry if I received a bidet seat, heated or not.

My mildly mentally challenged uncle asked for .... get ready..... porno tapes!!:scared1::scared1::scared1:

He has the mentality of an 11 yo and used to live with my aunt. Her daughter and her husband stayed with them for months. The husband "shared" these kind of tapes with him and he didn't see one problem in asking for some for Christmas now that he's living with my family.

NOT gonna happen.... :lmao:
