Amazing that you got to see the original cast! You can't beat Audra, Brian, and Marin. I saw the revival in 2009 several times.

Another Ragtime fan here! I would have loved to have seen the original Broadway cast. The score is incredible- I can listen to that album over and over.

Yes, I judge musicals and operas on actually performing the scores, not necessarily the story or the overall music. Feel free to judge me on that.

As do I - I've done literally dozens of shows over the past 30 years.
