NEW food TSA rules coming soon. Sometimes already in effect in Orlando.

Remember:
  • Take smaller bites of food to begin with (it’s easier to chew smaller morsels)
  • Chew slowly and steadily
  • Chew until your mouthful of food is liquefied or lost all of its texture
  • Finish chewing and swallowing completely before taking another bite of food
  • Wait to drink fluids until you’ve swallowed
. Chew

This gal doesn't need to be told to savor pumpernickel bread!

Pumpernickel bread is good. :)

I'm curious, what things are you not supposed to put in checked luggage per TSA? I've somehow missed that.

I took a short flight a month ago and I had to put meds and tablet and shoes in a bin. I also had to give up the cane I still use so it could go through the scanner.

Just had a look at how to obtain TSA precheck from the UK (as flying to New York then down to Orlando next year).

Hmmm, nice little earner for all involved

1) must apply to the UK government for a global entry pass - costs £42 pp

2) IF you meet the criteria for that, then have to pay a further $100 for US entry

Also need to go through a face to face interview before they say yes / no.

Em...no. Will just have to die of boredom in the line I guess as holiday costing enough as it is without paying for that nonsense!
