I wanted put this out there that the Club 33 renovations are almost complete and a lot of fans are not very happy about. Some also complain that non members shouldn't have an opinion because they are not members and will not experience this.

This is an article in the LATimes talking about the renovations. http://www.latimes.com/travel/themeparks/la-trb-club-33-disneyland-20140625-story.html

This is one of the new stained glass gates.

They have also installed new very large windows in the club, the club used to be more hidden and secret it seems disney is wanting to make it known.

And if you didn't already know Club 33 is getting a new logo

Due to a lightning strike on the monorail system a monorail was evacuated while on the track near wilderness lodge. The reedy creek fire department was there to assist in evacuation efforts no injuries or problems occurred during the evacuation.

More info on the monorail evacuation.

Some more traffic changes on Buena Vista drive
"Beuna Vista Drive will have a reduced speed limit of 35mph and will be operating a reduced number of lanes in various sections. The restrictions will be taking place from Bonnet Creek Parkway to Hotel Plaza Boulevard.

Also expect changes to the entry and exit to Downtown Disney parking. It is expected that only entrances 2 and 5 will be available, which are the turns located opposite Typhoon Lagoon and the Hess Station.

Parking Lot L, which is located behind La Nouba, on the side nearest Disney Quest, will also be partially closed temporarily during July 2014."

Here are photos of all things happening in Disneyland right now.
Lots of controversy with the big New Orleans square renovations with the club 33 expansion. Take a look for yourself and tell me what you think a lot of people are upset including some members.

Also happening is the refurb on the submarine voyage with Nemo and turnstile refurbishments.

People are always going to be upset about something.

Jim Hill interview will mousechat.net #2

1. Disney is seeing through MyMagic+ and Surveys that guests who get 10 experiences a day leave happy and feel like they got what they paid for. So this is what disney is aiming for with guests especially with the FP+ pre-booking.

2. There are special magic bands for VIPs they are called the Rockstar bands. These bands were given to the media members at the mine train press event and you could walk up to any attraction and get in the FP+ line without booking a FP.

3. Average guest comes back every 3.75 years Disney is focused on those guests.

4. Guest Spending is increasing with magic bands.

5. Comcast is looking at Universal as a growing resort, Disney sees WDW as a Mature resort with too many hotel rooms and they need to make the most out of things. This leads to cuts like the removal of a golf course and additions like the wind down events or Harambe nights.

6. Memory Maker is Disney's run at a full photo service they have added a ton of photographers in the parks, trying to make the most out of what they have.

I have never have been to disneyland but based on what I have seen before and after the renovation I can definitely see why people are upset. Club 33 was hidden gem and now they seem to be making it well known or at least less hidden.

The Jurassic park entry way arch has started to come down photos are going around twitter. This is near the supposed king construction area.

1.im sure Disney will continue to tweak the program until it benefits most people.

2. Now that is what they could charge for. THAT would be worth the money.

3. I have argued with parents over this claiming they are not overly concerned with annual passholders.....them thinking Disney would fail without the passholders. People who come less often spend more money....plain and simple.

4. I kind of figured it would. We spend more money when we go.

5. That s exactly what Universal is. Universal is improving on resorts that didn't and still don't have to much to offer. They are doing the Disney decade thing. Walt Disney World is more mature and doesn't need to rapidly expand even if people down the street are. Remember Universal didn't close down when Disney rapidly expanded in the 90's so Disney wont suffer cause of Universal. Well maybe a little bit but then Disney will do something.

6. We did Memory Maker this last trip and I can say it is totally worth the price. ALL pics for every ride and great shots around the parks. Something people need to look into.

In my opinion only Club 33 members should have a say on how the place looks. I think the place is still private enough to be considered an exclusive club. I don't get the idea behind keeping the place as some sort of secret society. But hey, that's just me.

Suddenly the internet is full of architects and decorators.

I just want to point this out personally I think the before is much better, the least they could've done is centered the window.

Fair enough. I didn't see the picture of that facade before. It does look much better the way it used to be. I agree that they probably changed it that way to have a better view of Fantasmic.

It's not finished yet, is it? Perhaps they'll add a few balconies and some planters.

Correct they are not completely finished should be finished and open within the next week or two.

Universals next resort looks to be a time share type resort.... (See disney isn't the only one doing it)

Where can you find details? This may be something to look into. Thanks!
Nothing has been released it's from insiders the permits were filed for another resort those can be found on parkscope. The pricing for DVC at the poly hasn't even been released yet and that is well underway in construction.
