Hi Kathy! I'm finally on the DIS, and of course, now I'm here for your PTR! Can't wait to hear about all your plans.

As the title indicates, we had no plans of going to Disney World at all this year. This was going to be the year we were going to finally go to Disneyland. Then Mark lost his job and Disneyland just became too expensive a trip for us the way we want to do it. I know…you are probably all saying, but you are taking three trips to Disney World!!! Yes, yes I am (Mark is only taking one). But I have a wonderful friend at work who rented us her points at our resorts REALLY, REALLY cheap. I received enough gift cards to purchase an Annual Pass AND my boss was very generous to me and part of his Christmas bonus to me paid for our new furniture as well as two sets of our flights). So Disneyland got put on the back burner until my gulp 60th in 2017.
My first trip will be May 3 to May 10. I will be meeting these people:

Yes, I am doing Disney with Nicki and Todd. They will be there May 3 to May 6 midday. After they leave, my friend from work who rented me her points, will be coming in and I will be touring Disney with her until we fly home on Mother’s Day.

My sincerest apologies for NOT getting back here to welcome each of you individually which I will be doing. Work was hectic Thursday and then I was off Friday and we went to Dubuque for the weekend to see the kids. We went to watch Mark's college team wrestle on Friday (they won), went to a bar with Mark, the rest of the coaches and Alisha and then went to the casino where I won over $1000 (and spent 3/4 of it on the kids). Then I got back to work today and you'd think I had been gone three weeks instead of a weekend. I promise to get here tomorrow night at the latest with individual responses.

First, let me apologize to all of you for taking so long to get back here to update. Work has been crazy, we went out of town to see the kids and the usual every day nonsense. I thank ALL of you for joining and am doing responses now and will try to finish my "recap" of my TR and an update to this PTR by Friday.

I am from Chicago, too Another funny connection, I graduated from Loras College (that's actually where I met my husband) and one of my good friends still coaches wrestling in Western Dubuque! It really IS a small world after all!

Wow...it really is a SMALL world. We thought Mark would come back after graduating from the University of Dubuque, but then he met Alisha and then met the head wrestling coach at Loras and the rest is history. Maybe send me a message and let me know your friends name and I bet Mark knows him.
