We will be visiting Dec 6-9 and staying at The Hotel Indigo: Anaheim. Never stayed there, but got an amazing deal through Hotwire Hot Deals. Really looking forward to being there during the Holidays again! First time was 2 years ago.

Looking forward to the parade and Small World Holiday the most. Thinking of doing Afternoon Tea this visit, too!

Believe it or not we are *only* about 5 months away from Christmas time at Disneyland!

We went over Christmas break last year for the first time and had so much fun my husband and I decided to take another trip just ourselves in november!

You are going to LOVE the Indigo. This will be our third time staying there and it’s just the best hotel. Try and make time for the happy hour at the bar - the appetisers are good and the drinks prices very reasonable. Super friendly staff as well and great modern rooms. We don’t consider anywhere else now!

Also, the afternoon tea is wonderful too. It’s a must do again for this trip!

AAAAAAHH I'm so so so excited about our upcoming trip!!!!! We'll be there the Tue-Thur after Thanksgiving, so Nov. 27-29. Staying at Desert Palms Inn & Suites. My husband and I, our three sons (ages 9, 6, 3) and my husband's parents. Over the past few years we've done Disneyland at Halloween time, over Valentines Day, but never during Christmas holidays! WOOOT!!!!!!

Planning to go that weekend Nov 9-12, trying to choose which days to actually go to Disneyland and CA, we’re only doing 1 park/day tickets. leaning toward Sunday in Dl and Monday at CA, but can’t decide if there will be less crowded days?

Like I mentioned above, we’ll be out there November 9-12,but not sure about opening weekend crowds? Taking our 2 foster babies (will be just 2 and 11months!) and our teenage daughters and one boyfriend . Anyone go opening Christmas weekend and have advice?

My DH and I will also be there opening weekend since 11/11 is my birthday. I've made 3 reservations, but i'm not set on any of them. Just wanted them as a "just in case" since it's gonna be busy. Friday - Lamplight Lounge (probably just for drinks), Saturday - Blue Bayou dinner, Sunday - Carnation Cafe breakfast (this will probably be a for sure). I have two reservations for hotels as well, a Best Western (can't remember which off the top of my head) but it's on the backside of the parks and Grand Legacy (which we've never stayed at). Leaning towards cancelling the BW and keeping Grand Legacy since it's a lot closer of a walk.

big group here too ! 9 adults 4 teens 1 disney adult child. What are your dining plans for a big group? Are you planning on staying all together in the parks?

Tink89, Our plan is to spend part of the time together but also split off as we feel like it. It’s myself, husband, 3 sons and their wives, and 3 grandkids. One of our Grandkids turns 5 on this trip. We will all eat at Carnation Cafe for his birthday (his request). We are also eating at Storytellers for a character breakfast and Blue Bayou for lunch. We’ll do counter service for the other meals.
